Mar 2021Yard and stream was nice. Hot tub was great! Interior was extremely worn and dated..... pots and pans looked like a roto tiller was run over the interior...... I would not describe this as a cabin feel on the inside , more like a outdated 1978 feel. Disappointed is a good word.

Aug 2022This rental was a mixed bag for us. One bedroom leaked, but the owner refunded a portion to compensate. There is a mouse (mice?) in the house and wasps in the shell of the hot tub. The kitchen was well set up with dishes and flatware, but only one pot. Lots of frying pans.That being said, the house set up is perfect for a group like ours with the large dining room and small reading area off the kitchen. Everything was clean when we arrived. The Yard is amazing with plenty of room for games and hammocks. The fire pit is very nice and well placed in the back of the yard. The creek was wonderful to listen to and to wade in. We even enjoyed the charcoal grill, Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were some interesting things to do in the area. Some maintenance would make this a really great vacation home.

Aug 2020The pictures listed on VBRO are not accurate. In reality the house was not nearly as nice as in the photos and very disappointing. It felt like a rental property, not like someone's home.
One of our main complaints was the pervasive smell of sulphur in the water and in the area of the house near the kitchen. At times the odor was quite strong. When we opened the windows in the lower floor bedroom the smell wafted in.
The house was not thoroughly cleaned. When picking up toys off the floor near the couch we found lots of dirt, likewise beneath the dining room table.
The yard was lovely.
We would not stay in the house again.

Mar 2022Second time staying at this property. The only downfall is the fireplace inside is no longer allowed to be used which kinda sucks but it was great otherwise. Loved the hot tub n so did the kids. Will stay again :)

This place was excellent for our needs. Close enough to Ohiopyle but far away enough to feel secluded. There were nothing but nice things said by members of our group. The AC was excellent considering we stayed during those 90 degree days. Big yard to have lawn game tournaments. Close to the creek to hang out by. We anticipated bugs maybe being worse but they weren’t really that bad. Charcoal grill came in handy. Just a great stay and good value.

This home was everything we were looking for for our quick getaway! It's incredibly spacious if you're going with a larger group, but it also doesn't feel too big if you're just traveling with a couple people, like we did. It's in an AWESOME location with a super spacious back yard (that's great for dogs! They're pet friendly too :))Close to the state park for great hiking, but there's also plenty of space to explore behind the house too if you don't want to drive anywhere. We'll definitely be returning!

Our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The home was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The land it was located was also gorgeous. The kids enjoyed the air hockey table which was a plus and got them off their electronics! Nemacolin Woods is only a few miles away. We took the kids their to snow tube and have dinner. Laurel caverns is also close by and I'm know the kids would have loved it. So much to do there!!! Can't leave out the hot tub!!! It was relaxing and very enjoyable even in the snow flurries. I will be booking again in the the future! Price was great for the experience ��

I loved it!!! The house was incredible, the back yard was huge, the creek was beautiful, we did not leave the hot tub the entire weekend. Anytime we needed anything Cristina made sure to assist us and was a great help! We even decided to stay an extra night because we did not want to leave. Our family was visiting from Seattle, WA and Northern Idaho for a weekend wedding nearby. We travelled all day to get to our destination and were expecting a little bit more. They house was very lovely and the hot tub got used by some of our guests, but the big downfall was the comfort of the beds. They were so hard- like we were sleeping on a slab of cement, and as a result we ended up being very tired and sore in the morning. 2 guests had to sleep on the couches because they were so uncomfortable. The pillows were so old and hard and couldn't be used. We had to roll up our towels to use as pillows to be somewhat comfortable. I wish that wasn't the case, as the rest of the house was nice and comfortable. I would say that if a comfortable bed is important for you, then this house isn't for you.

This house was fantastic for a Covid19 three generation family reunion. We enjoyed the hot tub, playing in the creek, hanging up a hammock, campfires, frisbee golf, cornhole, large dining room table for our family of 9, large family room area, and much more. The property is approx. 10 minute drive from Ohiopyle which enabled us to enjoy the waterslides, Cucumber Falls, and take a bike ride on the Ohiopyle rail trail. Because of Covid, we did not want to eat out. The only downside is no dishwasher but we made it work with lots of grilling (nice covered grill), campfire meal, and, unfortunately, using paper plates and cups. The only suggestion we have is to update your photos on the website. We had two grandsons who were disappointed to not have bunk beds. And there is only one picnic table on the deck next to the hot tub. Some photos show two picnic tables. Overall, a wonderful family time in a lovely spot.
