May 2021We will never rent another river property in Hays County besides this one. I cant say enough great things. Not a single complaint. perfect for families, kids, adults only, fits any need.

Jun 2018We had the best stay. The home was perfect for our family of 10. The backyard was the river and the outside patio where we gathered had the most amazing view. Also the tube rental place was in walking distance, we were shuttled to the beginning of the river and we tubed right back to the home. It was PERFECT!

Jun 2019We had such a great time! Great location on the river. Tube rental is walking distance from the house. We floated everyday! Some days twice. Nice 2.5 hour float, great for the kids. We had two 15 year olds, an 8 & 2 year old!

Sep 2018We had five couples enjoying this spacious home for Labor Day weekend. The house was perfect. The location could not have been better. Just a short walk to Texas State Tubes to grab the shuttle to float. When done, you can hop off at the house. There was lifesize connect four, bag toss, floats, kayaks, a grill, Keurig, pump to air up items; we really didn't need to bring much. The deck is amazing and we very much enjoyed watching everyone coming in from the river. The beds were all very comfortable. The house stayed cool. We all went on and on about how perfect it really was. We can't wait to come back!!

Jul 2018We had a group of 11 people between 23-30. We absolutely loved this location. The deck is immaculate, and the location on the river is ideal. We walked down the road to Texas Tubes and floated from the tube shoot down to the property, which is about 1/4 mile from the end of the river. The owners were quick to respond to our needs. We will return next summer!

Nov 2021We enjoyed our visit to this great home on the river in Martindale. Hosts were communicative and the home was updated, comfortable and well stocked. Really pretty spot on the river - good fishing - we caught several nice bass. Our dog loved the yard and wading in the river. The deck is huge and nice. Would definitely come back.

May 2019Unfortunately the rainy days of May made our river trip a no go, but the house didn’t disappoint. The rain made the river flow fast and was too murky to swim so we spent most of our time on the huge back deck. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Games, chairs, outdoor fire pit - it has all the essentials. I float this river often and can tell you this is a wonderful spot for hassle free floatin’. There’s also a bank nearby where you can set out some chairs in the river if that’s more your speed. Just don’t litter please! Great house! You’ll wish you lived there.

Mar 2019This home was a perfect setting for our family trip. We made lots of new memories. Our father passed away, and we never made that big family trip with him, so we grabbed our mom and headed off to the river to celebrate family!
We were in for a big surprise of blessings!
The house is well stocked. It has everything you need: a well stocked kitchen with pots and pans, kitchen utensils, everyday spices, Board games, COMFORTABLE BEDS, river chairs, river tubes, kayaks, awesome back deck patio and the list goes on and on. The kids, ages 2-11years old enjoyed the river. There is a cedar tree that fell in the river and made a small swimming pocket next to bank- the little ones swam there with no problem. There is a sand/rock island right off the stairs- great spot to relax on a river chair and say hi to other tubers as they float by. In addition to the great accommodations and the nature perks, Collin and Haleigh were great hosts! They were always available- a text msg away. Collin and Haleigh made their home inviting and stress free. Ready for guest to enjoy and make memories. I’m so happy to have found this jewel and plan to come back and make many more memories!

Jun 2019This home is in a great location with private access to the river and a tubing company just down the road and within walking distance. This was our 3rd year of our “annual friends river trip” and we have stayed at homes on the Guadalupe River but this was by far the best stay we have had. The home was very spacious and well stocked with kitchen items and towels to shower. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were all a good size. The deck is amazing and the outside shower was a plus to be able to rinse off before going inside. We are looking forward to stay here again next year and the years to come!

The patio is spacious and beautiful with the lights and trees and our twins especially loved the outdoor games. My family made memories to last a life time and we are looking forward to booking again! It’s worth every dollar!

Jul 2019Our family had a wonderful stay. The house had "everything" you could possibly need for this type of trip. It is the perfect location on the river, 1 minute walk to the tube rental, tube and kayaks in garage. The firepit area was great for sitting and visiting. It has outside games, indoor games, literally everything you need. Plenty of room for 12 adults. The only thing you should plan for are flys - once we figured out how to corral them - we were good. We would definitely stay again. Hayleigh was quick to respond to any questions we had. Also, PLENTY of parking in the driveway.

Oct 2018Beautiful house with a great outdoor patio that overlooks the river. Has river access to a great spot in the river where the flow is both slow and fast. Outside of San Marcos so there’s plenty of privacy even with the neighbors. Overall just a great experience at this house!
