Jul 2022We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is charming and has a lovely garden. Communication with Karen was great. At first thought the location was a bit far from Kits beach BUT realized that there were good amenities nearby on Broadway and close to Jericho beach.

Oct 2021This was our first time visiting Vancouver, where we were joined by our daughter who is a student at UBC. The property could not have been more perfect for the three of us. It is beautifully located in a quiet neighborhood, with short walks to bus stops. The house itself had so many amenities which made it instantly feel like home. We marveled at the very clever use of space; it was apparent that every detail had been thoroughly and thoughtfully planned. The kitchen is large and beautifully appointed, the bedrooms very comfortable, the master bath lovely. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace on chilly evenings. The courtyard is private and serene, and beautiful to look at through the glass doors when not in it. There is no doubt that this will be the first place we look to rent when we return! Oct 2021This was a wonderful location for us in a great neighborhood. We were able to go biking, hiking, play tennis and wonderful walks down to the beach from the house. Many restaurants and shops close by all within walking distance. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Karen was a great host and made everything very easy for us!

Jul 2022This Kitsilano home was one of the best rentals we've had. 2-storey open plan with large windows onto a back patio on the first floor. Well-equipped kitchen, dining alcove and powder room. 2 spacious, light-filled bedrooms, one with balcony and shared bathroom on the second. The small back garden is surrounded by a gorgeous rhododendron hedge which must be 10 feet high and makes the space completely private. It felt as if we were in the tropics without the heat and humidity. The location couldn't be better. Grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and the ocean are within easy walking distance. Downtown is a short drive away. The owners were accessible by text and responded quickly if we needed help. We hope to return.

Jan 2022My daughter and I wanted to take a few days to explore Kitsilano and this home was a fantastic place to do that from. The home itself is gorgeous, clean and well stocked. The neighbourhood is quiet while at the same time being within walking distance of W 4th street and W Broadway which are awesome shopping and restaurant streets. It is also within walking distance of beaches and a quick uber ride to some great hiking trails too. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. This is an absolute 5 * place. I will definitely stay here again.

Aug 2022Lovely accommodation - in a perfect location! Lovely, clean, airy 2 level, 2 bedroom place - with modern appliances and lovely high ceilings... Great light too! Location is fantastic - close enough to shops and restaurants and the ocean. We had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and would book again! Recommended!

Jul 2022Just what we were hoping for and needed. Downstairs was perfect. The upstairs was hot and needs some way to vent it better, perhaps an exhaust fan in the bathroom or some way to cover the large skylight in the bathroom to prevent the room heating up so much.

May 2022It was ok over all. Roomy first floor with half bath, large kitchen fairly well equipped. Second floor has 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom with jack and Jill doors. Beds were ok , could improve the bedding, older flannel sheets. Could use black out curtains in the bedrooms, sun was up at 5:00am. Looking at the ceilings upstairs there were quite a few cobwebs. Bathroom sky light had a lot of fuzzy mold on the frame. Bathroom fan was not working.

Mar 2022House was very nicely appointed in a beautiful neighborhood (though, man, the streets are narrow). Beds were excellent. Great shower. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only minor complaint was that the March weather was a bit cold at night and we could have used an extra comforter for sleeping. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the nearby restaurants.

Aug 2021Great place to stay in Kitsilano! Very well stocked kitchen, comfy living room and good beds upstairs. Easy contactless check-in and out. It’s surprising how quiet this neighborhood is considering how close you are to all the shops on Broadway and W4st. I would stay here again.

Sep 2021Great house, very comfortable, great communication from owner. Loved the house but best feature was the location- easy walking distance to anything you need- stores, restaurants, coffee,etc. and Vancouver is the nicest city in North America as far as I’m concerned.

Oct 2021A gem in Kitsilano. Full size kitchen with high end range. Private and secure entrance, large bedrooms, artistically decorated, gorgeous private garden. Hosts were gracious and helpful. Stayed at many VRBO properties around the world and this is a high quality find for Vancouver in its best neighbourhood.
