Aug 2022We were so pleased! Very well planned out arrangement and facilities. Nicely tucked away in the woods but not far from a main road. We had everything we needed. We would love to stay there again!

We were only in the ADK for the weekend, but found ourselves excited to go back to the house after our adventures due to how cozy it was. We had everything we needed, and Carlos was easy-going and was just a phone call away if we needed anything. We will be back!

Dec 2019We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at the cottage over Christmas. The house was warm and inviting for us as we sat by the fire, played board games and went for leisurely walks. The kitchen is fully equipped and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Communication with Carlos was quick and pleasant. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us over the holidays!

Oct 2019We loved our stay at Carlos' home! It is such a comfortable home with so many fantastic amenities. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and the house-wide speaker system. We did find that the neighbors were a little closer than we had anticipated, but this was only an issue for us because we have a noisy dog. If you don’t have that issue, then it is nice and private. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this home!

Aug 2022We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous property. It’s in a private, peaceful location surrounded by trees and near to lots of attractions, lakes, and trails. The house was really well equipped, very clean, and extremely comfortable - the jacuzzi bath and ping pong table were favourites! Thanks for a great stay.

Aug 2022We enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to find a place so nice that accommodates dogs as well. We didn’t have a large group but there are a lot of beds if you do. Jay is a beautiful area very close to Ausable river and many great hikes and peaks. Lake Placid is also a quick drive. The house had everything we look for in a vacation house, plenty of rooms, a well appointed kitchen, fire pit, comfortable place to lounge, good wifi, and fun things to do.

Oct 2021We absolutely loved our stay here. The house had everything we needed and I loved how everything was clearly labeled and the instructions (for TV's, jacuzzi tub, etc) were super helpful. The house was welcoming and comfortable and so serene in the woods. I would absolutely stay here again!

Sep 2022Very glad we stayed at this beautiful home away from the congested Lake Placid area (pretty 20-25 minute drive). Interior is beautiful with lots of windows, multiple decks, lots of trees in area of scattered barely visible homes. Exceptionally stocked with what you need with clear explanations posted next to items (TV’s, door locks, lighting). Quick responses from owner.

The home is spacious, fully stocked with just about anything you might need, and is in a great location - not on a main road so it's in a quiet neighborhood but not too far from anything you might need. We use it as a home base for day trips throughout the Adirondacks but also have enjoyed rainy days inside as a family without feeling like we're on top of each other. (Bonus for families with young children- there are several playgrounds within a 15 minute drive!)Carlos could not be more responsive when we have had questions during booking or during our stay. We highly recommend this home for your stay.

Mar 2021This property had all we needed to have a perfect, restful vacation. I love to cook and usually bring half my kitchen wherever we go. When we arrived and walked into the home, we brought almost all of my things back to the car, including my favorite gadgets. Everything that makes a house a home away from home is in this place. We would recommend it to everyone we know !

Feb 2021This property did not disappoint, so much space and beautiful surroundings made this the perfect mini vacation for my family. The jacuzzi tub was key and so relaxing at the end of the night. We will absolutely be back in the summer to check this place out again!

Feb 2020This place is great. It’s cozy, clean, and comfortable. Figuring out how to use the TVs takes some patience but other than that, this place is perfect. We loved the ping pong table, board games, and wonderful kitchen.

The whole house sound system, Jacuzzi tub, fire pit and the ping-pong table to name just a few. The remote setting - nestled among the pines is still very easy to get to from major roads. You're close to Lake Placid, Whiteface, and hiking is all around. And the host Carlos was a dream to work with. We will definitely be coming back!!

May 2021This home is beautiful! The pictures do no justice. My husband and I were blown away by the size and the amenities of the home. The decor was stunning and the built in window nook was adorable. We have stayed in several homes in this neighborhood and this is by far the best! We cannot wait to return!
