You can’t beat the view and mostly the excellent if you have dogs. Perfect for dogs. No noise from surrounding neighborhood. Parking for our very large vehicle. Will go again for sure.

Wow!!! I don't even know where to begin this place is absolutely beautiful from the time you step in the door it just takes you to a whole nother world. We stayed three nights and four days I didn't want to leave dr. Neal was amazing as was the property it's definitely right on the beach and worth every penny the sunsets and sunrises are absolutely gorgeous we've already talked about booking the sand dollar and the seagull on our next visit and bringing more family I highly recommend this quaint little home quirky little setup but it works I will definitely be back

We wanted to find a place with a terrific beachfront location, and this property cannot be beat. It’s just right on the sand with its own fabulous fire pit and you just walk down the dune to get to the main beach. You can sit inside and watch the world, or out on your back deck... And there are also views from the Jacuzzi and Widow’s walk that you share with the other vacation unit. It was cold and windy during our June stay so we also really liked the indoor old-fashioned potbellied stove (with modern gas logs) that we gathered around. When we stayed, cars and trucks were not being allowed on the beach due to coronavirus, which made everything so extremely peaceful. And we thought the cottage was charming with cute little touches everywhere. What you are paying for here is the location and the views… And we thought it was well worth it.

We stayed the week of July 4th with three teenagers. We rented ATVs, drove on the beach, did outlet mall shopping, saw the circus at Madonna Inn, ate at Jocko's in Nipomo, watched fireworks from the fire pit on the sand just outside the house, visited friends and walked on the beach.The Good -Location and on the beach! beautiful sunsets, communication with Nell, easy check in, plenty of towels, comfy beds, parking, even though vehicle access to the beach right there were no issues or noticeable noise other than a tractor some mornings grooming the sand, firepit and chairs for your use on the sand (bring your own firewood or buy from 2 doors down), seating for 6 indoors or out, tvs are now flat screen, hardwood floors making it easy to sweep out sand and being able to have our 3 smaller dogs join us.The Bad - it's an old house which we expected but it's tired and needs some tlc, master sliding door hard to open, some doors hard to close, kitchen drawers and doors don't always shut, no ice maker so be prepared, listing does not mention someone may be renting the back house and you share the washer/dryer with them which is outside, people in the back have a private deck above the hot tub which they can look down on, hot tub is very old and had sand in it with temperature around 90, we never used the hot tub, the beds are comfortable because there are 2 or 3 foam pads on top of older mattresses, the one 1/2 bath is very small, the kitchen is a very tiny galley kitchen with room for one, we ended up not cooking any meals, there is no dishwasher, many of the dishes we took out to use for take-out food or drinks were dirty so we made sure to wash everything first, there was no scrub brush our scouring pad to wash dishes, there are no cleaners available like Windex or Lysol to clean during the week like the glass table, the vacuum is heavy to push around, there is a broom and dust pan between the fridge and sink which we used, one of the pull down blinds would not pull down, the two bedrooms are very small as stated in the description but they were a lot smaller than we thought, the one with the bunk bed has maybe 12 inches of walk space around one side and the foot of that bed and nothing else, there were several light bulbs not working so we moved some around for the lamps we wanted to use and no instructions on what to do when you leave so we just made sure to strip the beds, dump the trash, wash and put away all dishes and closed all the blinds.
