Ebenfalls nur 15 Autominuten entfernt befindet sich der Wanderweg Wainui Falls - um nur einige der vielen Attraktionen von Golden Bay zu nennen, nicht zu vergessen Pupu Springs. Mar 2021We spent 3 nights in this well equipped and superbly located bach. Loads of outdoor space to enjoy and my pool playing has improved no end . Lovely peaceful location and would definitely stay here again. Sadly didnt get opportunity to use the kayaks ...... next time !!!

Oct 2022We loved our stay. The house is in a beautiful spot with amazing views. Everything you can think of was in the house. We loved playing pool, playing cricket on the massive lawn, sitting in front of the windows upstairs in the sun reading and admiring the view, barbequing on the deck and taking the kayak out. We'll be back.

Jan 2019We loved our stay at Theo's Place! The house is huge, has nice views & everything you need (no WiFi and little reception made for a good relaxing time!). Loved the pool table & kayaks, beds were comfy. Very convenient to have laundry facilities available. New bathroom with nice shower, and it was handy to have a toilet upstairs for the night. Good location, walking distance to the beach and short drives to Abel Tasman & Takaka. Would recommend and stay again!

Sep 2022This place was awesome, perfect spot and perfect house. Lawn was huge, played volleyball and badminton in the sun. Would go again 10/10!

Jan 2020This is a robust and spacious house, with room for all. The kitchen was well equipped for thoose of us that like to cook up a bit of treat on holiday. 2 fridges so plenty of room to keep the beer cold too. Room for the boat and the boat ramp at Pohara is just around the corner. No Wifi, no phone reception, and on TV was just what we needed. The pool table, big dinning table, outside deck and garden were perfect for us all. Plenty of sunny and comfortable sitting areas for book reading or talking. We borrowed a double Kayak and had a magical time in the bay with Mr 10 and Miss 13. The beach is an easy 5 min walk and was perfect for beach cricket, swimming and just hanging out. New shower in laundry with new washing machine too.

Would suit a family or group best as it is rather large for a couple. The noise from building and earthworks next door was detracted from what should have been a quiet and peaceful stay in the bay.Poor mobile reception as only one of our cell phones worked intermittently but 4G reception okay.

Jun 2019Theo’s place is everything you expect from a trip away.....so much room for the kids both inside and out, clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. Plenty to do when the rain sets in, with a fabulous wood burner, with the bonus of a short walk to the bay with kayaks in the sun! We loved our stay, and look forward to our return.

Jan 2020Such a lovely holiday house for 2 families of 4 to spend a relaxing Christmas. Thanks so much for the Christmas tree! We loved hanging out on the deck, playing cricket in the garden and strolling down to the beach. Too far to walk with the kayaks but we lashed them to the roof of the car! Very well equipped kitchen had everything we needed and the place was spotless. Thanks so much Che.

May 2021Really loved our stay. Golden Bay is beautiful in itself, so having a comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and a house with all the amenities you need on holiday (including interesting games and books) made for a most enjoyable vacation. Moreover the property manager was brilliant.

Kiwi bach like from the past. All amenities for a relaxing holiday and lots of room for kids to run around, play pool and use the Kayaks.

Jan 2020Prime spot for our wedding accommodation. As described on Bookabach. Would have been more inviting if drapes and blinds had been opened pre our arrival. The bbq ignition needs new battery. We had 3 vehicles so continally opening and closing stock barrier was a pain at times.

Jan 2020Overall we had a great stay at Theo’s Place. The house worked well for our family group. It’s quite an old place with creaky floors so be prepared for noise or take ear plugs. The house is close enough to walk to Ligar bay beach. A car is recommended to get around Golden Bay. There is an additional charge for bedding and towels, and guests are required to clean the house before leaving. That aside we had an an enjoyable stay.
