Befindlich in Summit County, dieses schön entire house für EUR 457 pro Nacht ist ein phantastisch Auswahl für Ihr nächstes Pause. Dieses große, neue, ultra-komfortable, wunderschön eingerichtete Anwesen liegt in einer begehrten Gegend, nur 16 km südlich vom Skigebiet Breckenridge. (Alle Straßen sind zwischen unserem Landgut und den Skigebieten gepflegt.) Sie werden dieses nach Osten ausgerichtete, sonnige und geräumige Haus inmitten von Pinien, Blumen und herrlichem Bergblick in einer Höhe von mehr als 300 Metern genießen.<br><br>Unsere Zimmer sind groß, so dass es einfach ist, unser Zuhause zu füllen und es mit einer großen Gruppe zu genießen. Das Hauptschlafzimmer im ersten Stock ist schön für diejenigen, die eine Herausforderung mit Treppen haben. Das Master-Schlafzimmer und das Jr Master-Schlafzimmer, beide mit California King-Betten und komplett ausgestatteten Badezimmern. Es ist also schön, unser Haus mit zwei Familien zu teilen, sodass niemand den Eindruck hat, dass sie das kurze Ende der Reise erreicht haben. Jan 2021Wow! This was a dream vacation. This was our first time visiting Colorado so I had a lot of questions for Sandra. She was so patient and responsive. This home exceeded all our expectations. The location is perfect. The space is perfect - we never once felt crowded with eight people. The home was equipped with everything we could've ever needed (cooking supplies, dinnerware, food in the pantry, games, movies) and truly had a "homey" feel with all the family pictures on display throughout. We all had a blast in the path the kids built in the yard so we can ride the tubes and sleds that were in the garage. We weren't too far from the venue to ride snowmobiles or where we went snowboarding. This was a dream vacation and we can't wait to head back. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Oct 2020We were looking for a house away from the town. The house provided a great deal of space for all of us. The kitchen was very user friendly as we decided to bring most of our food instead of dining out. The house was very close to some great hiking paths.

Dec 2020We had so much fun at the house. Plenty to do with all of the sleds and tubes, all of the cooking supplies that we could ever need and plenty of room for all 8 of us! The altitude night headaches got about half of the group bc the house is very high, but that didn’t outweigh the fun at all!

Mar 2020We absolutely loved the hospitality! We arrived shortly after the Covid19 shut down was issued. We were bummed we didn’t get to hit the slopes. However, the house is what kept us in Breckenridge. The house was filled with games, snow equipment, hot tub and entertaining areas. We even skied on the neighborhood streets. Owners kept checking in with updates and suggestions of things to do. We will be back and had a blast!

Jun 2020This property lived up to the 5 star reviews! My husband and I and our two adult children looked for a secluded location to spend some quality time together away from stressful jobs. Sandra was wonderful to work with and very responsive to all our questions. The house was fully stocked and comfortable and was in a prime location with amazing views. We hiked for 4 days, and the trailheads were all within 10-15 minutes from the house. Sandra gave us great advice on what to pack, and we were well-prepared for the sleet and snow on the Upper Mohawk Trail! We made use of the hot tub after our long hikes, and we loved the cooler temps and weather as it was a respite from our Texas summers. We are already planning next year’s trip! Dec 2019This place was great. We had 9 of us in the party and there was plenty of room for everyone. You’re a short drive, maybe 20 minutes from downtown Breck. Sandra was a wonderful host, very quick to respond to questions and provided thorough instructions. I will say if you’re easily affected by altitude, this place is at around 11,500ft so be aware. Our group we fine though. We would love to stay here again for a future stay!

We enjoyed our stayed and the house had everything you could need! The only thing I would mention is that it is at a very high elevation so be prepared. It took us a couple of days to adjust and we had taken medication as a precaution. The owner does let you know up front about this so we were not surprised. That being said it was a good location close enough to town but far enough away for peace and quiet!

Mar 2021This home was very spacious and in a beautiful location. If you go in the winter make sure you have a car with 4WD as the roads leading there can get a little snowy. We loved staying there, but unfortunately some of the sea-level dwellers in our group weren't quite prepared for the altitude and experienced some headaches while others made the beautiful drive down to the slopes. Check-in was super easy as well and the hosts were very helpful! Would highly recommend this home!

Dec 2021This home is wonderful and the property and surrounding area are gorgeous. Sitting in the hot tub while snow gently fell around us was such a nice experience. Great place! Just remember to acclimate to the altitude beforehand. We made the mistake of going straight from 1k to 11.5k feet and paid a price for a few days.

Jan 2020This amazing lodge was the PERFECT setting for our intimate family wedding! It was big enough for all the family to stay and yet have their own space. The view was incredible and the pantry was amply stocked -- more than I ever expected. Sandy is great as a host and fulfilled our every need/request in the blink of an eye (not that there were many BTW). The washer/dryer was wonderful with two young ones staying. The fireplaces were great --- we had amazon deliver the duraflame logs and we used all but one!
Do be prepared with snow tires or "auto socks" (can be purchased at NAPA in Frisco). The socks saved our trip!!
We look forward to returning in the summer to see how the view changes! Thanks Sandy for your part in making our wedding much more than we could have dreamed for.......God Bless!!

Oct 2020Sandra was wonderful to work with and so very thoughtful and welcoming. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures. There were 4 of us and could have had 4 more. Two living areas were worked great. The pantry was stocked and only request was replace what you use for the next guests. Perfect place for peace and quiet. We can’t wait to return hopefully beginning of the year to see the mountains with snow!!! Highly recommend this amazing home.

Aug 2020Property was beautiful, perfect location and Sandra was a pleasure to work with. The home was well kept and Sandra provides a bunch of great information on outdoor activities near the house. All we really had to get was food and we were set for the week. House has everything else you need and more. This house is on a mountain at high elevation so do be prepared to climatize. We had a few headaches but we’re prepared and had Excedrin and Motrin which handled those issues.
We accessed multiple trailheads in the neighborhood and there are some of the most beautiful spots in Colorado within a couple of miles from the home. Also great fishing and fly fishing close as well.
Wildlife was abundant at the house. Deer would walk through the backyard most mornings and a black bear came though early on our last morning. It was hard to contain for the excitement when seeing a bear in the wild. He looked at us like we were nuts.
The awesome fire pit in the backyard helped us relax and unwind on the evenings. Had a small issue with the local sheriff not understanding the new fire permits the house has but Sandra stepped in and it was all cleared up within a day. Again, she is awesome.
I am so glad we found this VRBO and it’s owners. With all that is going on in our world at the moment, this stay and trip is one we will never forget.

Sep 2020Our wedding in Mexico was cancelled due to COVID, but this little get away with our small wedding party was just what we needed! The location was close enough to town, but secluded enough for some great privacy. The owners provided great information, and kept in touch for any questions. If we come back to the area, we will definitely be staying again!

Nov 2020Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was a nice location with great views, spacious, and homey. It was a nice house to come back to after a day of hiking; the hot tub was a nice plus. The house is about 20 mins from Breck, and not far from hiking trails either. The owners were very informative and very friendly. The only warning I give, is to be aware of the elevation because altitude sickness is very real. After 2 and a half days, I started to feel better. So give yourself a few days to adjust. Despite the altitude sickness, I still highly recommend staying here
