Aug 2021We were a family of 5 visiting the PNW from the East Coast for the first time. From start to finish Linda’s property exceeded our expectations. Our children didn’t want to leave the property to do our planned hikes or exploring. They used every inch of the house and property and loved it. The home is quiet, well appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The added touches of s’mores, and pancake mix were wonderful. Linda reached out before our stay and shared tips re: grocery store, best routes, etc. and answered any questions. This is a great home for grilling, relaxing, and seeing the coast. It has everything you need to cook meals, wash your clothes, and relax. We hiked nearby Rialto Beach and visited Lake Crescent on our way to our next stay. We have stayed in many vrbos as a family and with groups of families. This is hands down the best we have ever visited.

Nov 2019We wanted to have a quick getaway that was off the beaten path, but also close to the sites on the Olympic coast. When we found this home online, it almost seemed too good to be true. However, after staying there for a few days I can say it lived up to expectations and then some! The property itself is amazing - it looks just like the pictures if not better. The house is beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed. The furnishings were extremely comfortable, with enough beds to handle a large group if needed. The location, while remote, is extremely convenient to what we wanted to see. The Hoh Rain Forest is less than an hour away, and Rialto Beach and La Push are both within 10 minutes. We were also able to go further south along the coast to explore some other beaches without it feeling like a huge outing. All-in-all it was a fantastic location to get away from it all while also experiencing some relaxing natural outings.
The communication from Linda and the property managers was fantastic! We received all the info in a timely manner, and it always included every detail we needed so there were never any questions that needed to be asked.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you're considering this location, don't hesitate - it's as good as advertised!

Linda is a great communicator and very thoughtful. The cabin is clean and very well maintained, even better than the pictures. The location is very convenient to visit the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and the Rialto beach. We went to Rialto beach to see the sun set a couple times after dinner. It was gorgeous! The kids (5 and 2) loved the playground. We really enjoyed setting fire in the fire pit. The cabin is very well stocked, from various spices, kitchen ware, to toilet paper, towels, trash bags, even to the firewoods. We stayed there for a week and never felt anything in short. It’s also of great help that the house manager Lauren just lives across the road. We really enjoyed our stay there would definitely like to go back!

Feb 2021We loved our stay at three orchards. The house and property were immaculate and lovely. Communication with owner was perfection. This property is fully stocked so you don't need to bring much of anything with you. We also appreciated the lack of "to do list" before exiting the property. While we are always happy to clean up and help get things going it can be super stressful to have a long list of things we need to do in order to leave and we appreciated the minimal things needed so we could get out in a timely and less stressful way. We have already booked our return trip here and hope to continue coming for years to come!

The house is immaculate and very comfortable with lots of nice touches and everything you need! and the grounds are lovely and well maintained with a huge lawn an orchard and a sweet garden! The large deck has a deluxe BBQ and lots of seating, we loved grilling dinner every evening and then relaxing by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows while looking at the stars! The property is close to some amazing beaches and hiking trails, there is so much to see and do its hard to choose! Our favorite place was Rialto Beach! We had such a lovely time we are already planning our trip next year to the Orchard! Its the nicest vacation home I have ever stayed in and the owner is lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and everything was just perfect! Thanks again!!

Sep 2019We are a group of Washington State retirees that take an annual trip for 3 days each year. This year we wanted to do the loop on the WA coast and hike the Hoh River Trail. We highly recommend the Hoh River Visitor Center and the trails that take off directly from it. We rented this home which was a great base. All of us stated that it was a home that we wanted to come back to and how great it would be to bring our families to enjoy. The home is very clean, has everything one needs in the kitchen, we enjoyed grilling on the BBQ, sitting outside in the numerous areas set aside with tables, chairs and benches. In the evening we enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor setting. All the furniture and beds are comfortable. The owner is extremely attentive and made everything easy for us. We have rented several VRBO homes for our retreats and this one is at the top of our list!

Jul 2022Upon arrival the house and surrounding grounds were in immaculate condition. The house amenities were excellent and the fire pit was well stocked with wood. Plenty of parking. There is also a very nice play set for the kids. Would definitely recommend this for a large family gathering.

Nov 2019Traveling with four people made this the perfect place to stay. A A lovely private home tucked away in the woods. There was a large fire pit where we were furnished with the things we needed to make s'mores. The string of outside lights on the deck made a special ambience while sitting around the fire. Linda went above and beyond to making our stay the best .

Feb 2021This was one one of the most comfortable vacation homes we have stayed in. The owners thought of everything, there were tons of extra special touches to make our stay memorable. The kitchen was very well equipped - I always travel with all the spices/condiments that I think we will need, but at this house you don't have too, they had everything well stocked. My kids loved making s'mores in the firepit. The owner and manager were both super friendly, responsive, thoughtful, and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay.

Aug 2020This was a heavenly big property! Gardens, games, deer, yard space, flowers! We ate every meal on the porch and loved the fire pit. Great access to Hoh and the beaches! Very well equipped kitchen. We almost didn’t want to explore ONP it was so heavenly at home!

Jun 2021This property looks exactly like the photos on the listing. It is perfectly situated in the woods and very close to the local beaches. The house is also well setup for young children if the weather is not permissive for outdoor activities (plenty of toys and games). There is also a playground in the backyard, which our two little ones had a great time with. We hope to come back again!

Sep 2019This is a beautiful, quiet, private property with a gorgeous, professionally decorated log cabin. Everything we needed was there, and some things we didn't know we needed were there, like S'mores supplies! The owner, Linda, and her property manager Lauren made sure all of our needs were met, and added a very personal touch, making sure we felt welcome. It is such a great location to head out and explore all of nature's treasures. I would highly recommend this property, and will definitely stay here again.

Listen, I'm not even a reviewing-type of gal, but this place was too perfect: all the amenities you hope you find, all the advice about local attractions you could want, and so clean that my children noticed! On top of that, the location for exploring the wildness of the Olympic Peninsula can't be beat. It's 10 minutes tops from Rialto Beach and the start of the beach hike to the Hole in the Wall's fantastic tidepools, an hour to the Hoh Rainforest, and just over an hour to Port Angeles (and access to Hurricane Ridge). Stay longer than we did: three nights were definitely not enough! We hope to be back!

We had zero issues and Linda and her husband are the perfect hosts! They really want you to enjoy your stay and make it special. She personally calls before the trip to make sure you are comfortable. The setting is remote yet as comfortable as a hotel. Perfect for families looking to get away and explore the Olympic.

From the thoughtful note on the chalkboard to the s'mores fixings in the pantry - the waffle mix and maker- coffee and other amenities that most other vacation rentals can fall Short of -the little touches like these along with the games- varied sitting areas- comfy couches fire place and outdoor fire pit made this the perfect place to spend some quality time with my brother and his family whom I rarely get to see - we had such a lovely time and the kids kept saying it was the perfect house and they wanted one like it- the upstairs bonus room was perfidy for my 15 year old niece she kept saying it was her dream room ! We loved the master suite it was cosey and we saw deer from the window one morning munching grass in the driveway grassy center area- all in all I would stay again and again and leaving was definitely sweet sorrow to have to break away from such a wonderful home and great weekend there with the family!

Jul 2020The property is as advertised: spotless, well equipped and close to Rialto Beach. Other Pacific beaches are an easy drive away. The indoor and outdoor spaces are comfortable and inviting. The owner and property manager both contacted us about check in, which was easy. We would recommend this lovely home for your vacation getaway!

Nov 2020The house is very comfortable, well furnished, homely and warm and well equipped. There is plenty of space for a large family group not to be on top of each other. The beds are comfortable with extra pillows and supplies. It was immaculately clean. The kitchen has all the facilities needed for a stay including more ambitious cooking. The fire pit and provision of supplies for S´Mores was a nice touch and the owners went beyond normal to welcome their guests and ensure we were informed of the property before we arrived. We have stayed in many holiday homes and this is on a shortlist for best ever.
The area has a lot to offer. We walked our boots off on beach and mountain - it is stunningly beautiful and we were blessed with very good weather.

The house is super clean, extra space for everyone, close to trails, Ruby beach, Rialto beach, la push, Hoh rain forest and Forks, and many places more and everything you need to have a great time and quiet place is here.
