Aug 2021We enjoyed staying at the Island Club rentals. The management/maintenance team was quick to respond to any problems we had (i.e. 2 bathroom related issues). We were under the assumption there would be a broom or vacuum to clean up crumbs, but we did not find. This is something the guests may want to bring because we did not.
We feel the area was safe and well-maintained. The community pool was a bonus! Overall, it was nice property and we would definitely return back to this location in the future.

The stay was great except for two things: the coffee maker did not work well and the main bathroom toilet kept running because maintenance put two fragrance things in the tank so it would not fill after it flushed. Super annoying. Overall, it was just fine.

When we first arrived and got into the house I was amazed as to how nice the place actually was, as my expectations were exceeded. The whole place was very clean comfortable and relaxing. The property location is only about a mile away from everything which is a 3 dollar taxi ride which was very nice. We will for sure be coming back next summer as we had a great time for our bachelor party.

The home was clean and had all the amenities we were told. It fit our group perfectly and was even located in the turn around which was nice. The patio with grill was a nice time for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves!!! The staff was very helpful in making our reservation at the island club complete!!! We will definatly be returning!

We had rented 2 cabins for 20 guys and everyone either had a nice sized bed to sleep in or enough couch space to have comfortable sleep the entire weekend. The outside area was also large enough to play cornhole, throw the football around and grill some food and hang out. The cabs were constantly driving by the cabin so we were able to head downtown to the bars in different groups to fit everyone around the same time. No issues finding a ride home either. Good spot for large group of friends for any occasion.

We stayed for a bachelorette party with our girls side of the family. We had all ages and the one bedroom was really nice for the older ladies to have some privacy. The house was clean and the living room/ kitchen area was great for our large group.The staff was super helpful and we so appreciate it. The area was busy which was fun to be around. We had a great stay!

We had a wonderful time. The house was in good shape when we arrived. There was a full tank of propane for the grill (we grilled quite a bit). Island Club taxis were prompt, with fun and friendly drivers. My one and only criticism -- anyone who had Verizon wireless as their phone service provider was in a black hole. I had last stayed in an Island Club house back in 2010 and experienced the same issue. The Island Club HOA (or equivalent governing body) should seriously consider installing Wi-Fi throughout the development. Coordinating ferry pickups and giving directions to guests was extraordinarily difficult due to the poor cell reception. On some occasions we had to drive into town just to make a phone call or send a text message.

Jerry was outstanding to work with. As a fishermen you need a place to clean fish and to dispose of the fish carcus. Also parking was very hard with the trucks and boat trailers.

The location of the property was great!! Whole family enjoyed the pool and staff was friendly and helpful. The home itself needs some attention, molding around doors needed replaced and black mold was growing in both bathrooms. Bedrooms smelled of mold Also. I did take pictures and sent to the property management.

My husband's family loved it (their first time there). The only major complaint I have is that the carpets were disgusting...our feet were black and we had to always wear shoes. I would recommend cleaning the carpets occasionally. We would love to stay agai but only if the floors are cleaned!

When we arrived at #109 the outside was VERY dirty (shoes, trash, dirty grill, water bottles, the trash over flowing from the can, cigarette butts). We had to call Dottie a FEW times just to have it cleaned up. Then when we went into the home the love seat was broke!! So Dottie removed it and did not return with a new one til the following day in the afternoon! We had 8 guest in our party and we couldn't even enjoy the tv cause everyone couldn't set in the living room. We was VERY DISPLEASED. When we left the following day we left the property in MUCH better shape than we found it. I will be awaiting a response from management. PS there was also mold in both bathrooms!

The main issues were: cleanliness throughout, bugs and cobwebs throughout. Toilet stool was loose and bath smelled of sewer gas. the house was pretty nice and we enjoy out stay. There were no major issues at all. The only small issue id say I had was there were some finish work in the house, examples like a couple small holes in the dry wall, some trim through out the house was beat up, and the mattress weren't very good. Also the grill starter wasn't working. Again they were not major issue, and plan on coming back in the future. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars property management professionalism is because the kid/teen doing the carts needs some serious work with his professionalism.
