Feb 2019We stayed at Glen IsIa for a few days and thought the home was a great getaway for our family of 7. Plenty of sleeping options and the kids enjoyed a few games of pool in the garage. The home is close to the Blue Mountains attractions and we enjoyed a good meal just up the road at the bowling club.

Aug 2016We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful historic home . A great place that fit 12 of us in very comfortably , I would definitely recommend Glen Isla ,especially if you are looking for a place big enough for a large group,, we did not want for anything & was also an easy walk to Wentworth Fall & the surrounding walks . I will definitely return .

May 2015We loved our stay at Glen Isla - we had 10 people staying and there was plenty of room for all of us. Beds are comfortable and the towels fluffy! We made good use of the kitchen (appliance heaven) and BBQ and played games around the fire. Highly recommend walking around the streets to appreciate the beautiful gardens in the area (as well as the bushwalks).

Jul 2015We hired the house for the weekend to celebrate my grandmothers 80th birthday. We luckily decided to choose a weekend when it snowed in the mountains which on arrival there was evidence of it still in the backyard. We loved every minute of our stay and did not venture out of the house at all only for supplies at one point. We will definitely be back

Jun 2015We have just spent two fantastic nights at Glen Isla. A very spacious home with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. The three bathrooms were idea with nine people. We will definitely be going back.

Oct 2015We had a fabulous, relaxed family reunion weekend at Glen Isla. Comfortable queen beds in 5 bedrooms, plus 4 singles in the loft. A kitchen with everything that opens and shuts (even a popcorn maker!). Over 100 DVD's to choose from along with plenty of books and magazines. All this and a stone's throw from Wentworth Falls Lookout and walking tracks ranging from short to long and easy to difficult.

Dec 2015This beautiful house is set in a lovely well kept garden. The area is quiet and private. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with high quality linen. There are 3 big bathrooms and a nicely setup kitchen. The living area and dining room are also large enough for big groups. Plenty of outside areas for sitting, eating, and a very good large BBQ as well. Glen Isla is the perfect location for family reunions or special celebrations, groups looking for something classy but nice. Highly recommended.

Jul 2015I couldn't recommend Glen Isla highly enough. Amy gave beautiful and friendly service from my very first enquiry right through to my last. Amy was efficient and lovely and I really appreciated all of her help. Glen Isla is a magnificent property and it was the most beautiful house to celebrate my mum’s 70 birthday in. My mum was delighted and loved every second spent in Glen Isla with all of her family. Everything went really well. It was a very special weekend with memories we will all treasure. Our kids ranged in age from 3 to 15 years. They all had a ball. They were climbing up in the trees, playing in the garden, loving the outdoor fire pit, riding scooters, playing pool and more! It was close to Wentworth Falls walk which was beautiful. Totally recommend. Perfect for a large family gathering. We had 5 families.

Nov 2015Glen Isla was perfect for our family reunion. It was exactly as advertised, with no surprises - a rare find. The bedrooms and living areas were beautifully appointed, clean and tasteful. Entertainment for the home was provided. All 3 bathrooms were perfectly clean and kept in excellent order. Linen supplied was high quality and immaculate. The gardens are beautiful; a quiet, pretty place for a group of people to relax. We grew up in the Blue Mountains, so the area was familiar, and it's a great place for locals and tourists alike.

It is truly beautiful, in a superb location, well maintained with everything you could think of to make your stay special. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to help. We will be back!

Jul 2015A most enjoyable weekend spent at Glen Isla with a group of five couples. The house is most welcoming and has very comfortable beds all which have electric blankets with good quality linen. The kitchen is so well appointed you could not wish for anything more. The dining table was plenty big enough for us to all sit around in comfort.. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing break away. Nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Amy.
