Wunderschöne hohe Gewölbedecken, ein prächtiger riesiger Kamin und über 200 Quadratmeter Wohnfläche. Sie werden es lieben, wie hell und luftig dieses Haus ist; Es bietet sowohl große Freiflächen als auch gemütliche Ecken zum privaten Lesen und Entspannen. <br><br>Der umgekehrte Grundriss bietet Blick auf das Meer von der Küche, dem Familienzimmer und dem Hauptschlafzimmer. Mar 2022We stayed here in early spring so it was pleasantly quiet with perfect weather! The house is well appointed, bright, clean, spacious and well equipped for cooking and also day trips down to the beach. We enjoyed taking walks all over the neighborhood and down along the beach. This rental is a delight!! Joseph and Holly are wonderful hosts! They even remembered to put up a birthday sign for our special occasion!! Thank you so much!! We hope to be back again sometime!

Jul 2020We rented this property for 7 adults to stay for my husband and I’s wedding weekend. Due to the pandemic, we shifted our big wedding to a small beach ceremony and the house was a perfect home base for the small group. After the ceremony we comfortably had 12 family members and friends over for desert and it was so spacious!
We didn’t do our ceremony on the beach by the property, but did check it out the night before. Great spot, very quiet, & all around lovely. Would absolutely stay here again!

The path to the beach is short, but pack what you need for your stay on the beach because the walk back to the house is a bit of a treck. Totally doable, just good to know beforehand. Tips; grocery nearby “Nob Hill Foods”, best view with great fishχps on Rte. 1 past Big Sur—Lucia Lodge, fresh fish tacos with a lovely view on the Santa Cruz Pier—The Dolphin. Be sure to check out the Sea Lions at the end of the pier! We will definitely return to this property:-)

Mar 2021We loved staying at the Sand Dollar house. Great for family time and perfect location with the beach so close. Shopping/grocery is close, but far enough to feel like you have escaped reality. The beach was great and was not crowded. The house is very comfortable with a stocked kitchen for anything you need for making meals. Each of us enjoyed our time here! Hope to return.

There are tv’s in every room but no instructions on the different remotes or which channels are available. The paved path to the beach, shown in the picture is only about 50ft, then it’s 2-3 stories of stairs to the beach. We had to go to Rio Del Mar beach as that was too many stairs for me. Probably more suited to a younger group/family.

Sep 2019We had a wonderful time at this beach house with family and friends. The space was clean, the kitchen is well stocked with all you’d need to prepare meals , the neighborhood is quiet and the beach a perfect walk away. I’d certainly stay here again. Thank you for accommodating a lovely place for sweet beach memories to be made.

Sep 2019We had a party of 6 adults and 2 kids and had a great time at this property. It was great being so close to the beach (5 minute walk) and having a nice view of the ocean. The kitchen was nicely updated and stocked with pots, pans and kitchen appliances. It was fantastic being able to grill on the deck with the view. We would definitely come back and stay at the property.

Jun 2021We had an amazing mothers and daughters getaway at this gorgeous rental. It was perfect for the kids and the adults. A short walk down to the beach, short drive to the boardwalk and shops, and the sound of waves crashing crashing to start and end every day. The kids all voted to make this a tradition.

Aug 2020We had a lot of fun staying at this immaculately cared for property. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and the decor was beautiful and appropriately themed. We really appreciated how organized the bed linens were and the extra beach toys provided in the garage. The only difficult part was all the stairs coming back up from the beach. We had a few smaller kids so they struggled a little bit after a long day at the beach.

The living space upstairs was very good for us all to be together. Garage has plenty of beach toys for the kids and some functional boogie boards too for older. We enjoyed our stay.

The beach is a short (but steep!) walk down the hill. Highly recommended, so long as you are OK with navigating stairs and hillside slopes. Would like to return some day.

May 2021Very lovely spacious home. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood and everyone was friendly. The homeowner has a lot of things to make your stay easy and fun. Lots of beach toys, towels, kitchen items, blankets, foosball players, charcoal grill, and gas grill. We were able to come in worry-free.
Grocery stores and restaurants are just a hop, skip, and a jump away.
The only complaint we had was where the beach was. In the pictures and description, it seems closer than it is. There is a nice walk patch to get there, but it is very steep in some areas. We did have one person in our party that was not able to walk the steep path as easily. However, I was able to text the homeowner and he offered a solution right away. Very responsive!
Would stay there again!!!

Aug 2020This is a fantastic place to stay near the ocean and not too far from the SF Bay Area or the Monterey Peninsula. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out and hang your clothes and put your bags out of the way. Seating in the bedrooms was good too. The bathrooms are big and super clean. The living area has room for TV viewers and also a conversation area. Downstairs has its own TV or quiet area and a half-bath - great features in a vacation home. The views are wonderful from the deck and it is very accessible too.
The lack of a real handrail on the stairs was a problem. The wood floors on the stairs, while lovely, are a slip hazard. Since the exit is only from the lower floor, we used them frequently during our stay. A grab bar in the upstairs tub/shower is needed too, and an instruction book/binder for the oven would be helpful.
I would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time and came home rested and refreshed!
