Jul 2019When we decided to take a family summer vacation to the Orlando area we initially searched tons of hotels before deciding to give VRBO a try but I am happy that we did. I came across this villa and it had everything we wanted and more. The pool area and indoor/outdoor patio overlooking the golf course were amazing. There was a game room with a slot machine, pool table, and television that provided another place to hang out in the evening when relaxing. We initially thought we would have to buy beach towels for swimming and were pleasantly surprised that they were provided. We also planned to buy an umbrella stroller for use while at theme parks but were able to save in that area because there were 4 stroller options in the garage. Also happy that there was a toddler bed and pack and play in the master that were available to use for our daughter. We only used the toddler bed but it was super helpful as she wasn't big enough to sleep in the Frozen themed bedroom. Our son enjoyed the LeBron James/ Cavaliers room and Disney themed bathroom. My mother in law joined us for the first two days and she was able to sleep in the guest room. The decor in the home is very tasteful and well done. An initial supply of toilet paper and paper towel is provided but there is a Publix, CVS and Wal-Mart near the home(5-10 min drive) to grab anything you may need. We had a minor issue with one of the exterior doors not locking and the issue was fixed same day eventhough it was a weekend. There are so many great things about this property. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. It was also a short drive to theme parks and a very safe subdivision. The owners also checked on us by email upon arrival to make sure everything was fine with the check-in process. We will definitely stay here again if available when we come back to the Orlando area.

Jan 2019We stayed in this gorgeous home for just under three weeks over the Christmas and New Year holidays. The home itself had a fantastic layout, very elegant decor and excellent facilities, particularly the home entertainment systems in all of the rooms. The beds were very comfortable and there was a very good supply of lovely soft towels. The kitchen was very well equipped with a plentiful supply of crockery and cooking utensils. The check-in/check-out process was seamless. We didn't use the pool as much as we expected and this was the only disappointing part of our stay, as pool heat was included in our booking, but the pool temperature was very cold. Unfortunately we did not rate the quality of service provided by the management company (Executive Villas Florida). Calls to their office to discuss the pool heat were fruitless as they went to answer machine with a full mailbox! Eventually we were able to leave a message but this was over the holiday period. We received no call back but we noticed the pool temperature had increased about four days before the end of our stay, just after the holiday period had ended! However, we were disappointed by the cleanliness of the pool and we do wonder if the management company are doing everything they are being paid to do! However, we didn't let this distract from what was a very enjoyable holiday and we would certainly be happy to rent this villa again.

Jul 2019We stayed at this property for 10 days. It was in a beautiful location about 20 minutes from Disney theme parks. We spent most of the time in the pool which was a perfect temperature. The house was clean and spacious. We also loved the game room! Definitely would stay here again.

Jan 2021We rented this property over the Christmas Hoildays. We had an issues getting the lockbox open to get the keys out. It is very difficult to get open. The property overall was pretty clean, but it needs some work. The carpet in the dining area had some dirty spots. The game room had cobwebs running from the light fixture to the pool table. I had been awhile since some had been in there. The pool table was difficult to use due to its placement in the room. It needs to be oriented the other way so you can use the ends of the table easier. The hot tub and pool were nice to get into after a long day of walking around the theme parks. The hot tub controls were unusual. The aeriation which is normally adjustable, was just an on and off switch. It had a timer, but I just controlled the water circulation. ALL of the mattress were HORRIBLE. The master king size was very worn out and lumpy. The children's twin size were hard and stiff. They want you to clean the dishes when you leave, but they don't provide the detergent. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty probably because of this. Clothes washing machine had mold growing around the seal. The only provide a VERY limited amount of towels and washcloths. We were four of us there for 8 days. We only had enough for 3, so we had to launder them, but they don't provide any detergent for that either. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but for what we paid to stay for that long, it should have been better.

Aug 2019We have just had the pleasure of staying in Meera’s home and had a fabulous time. The villa is very clean, lots of space both inside and out and a beautiful view over the golf course.
The communication from booking to checking in was great and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Jun 2018We had a really wonderful 10 days in this villa. Its a really good size, imaculately decorated and really clean. We have stayed on Highlands Reserve a few times so we know the area well. It really is a great location and has lovely views of the golf course.
Meera to deal with was superb - very helpful and responsive.
The only thing we were a bit dissapointed with (more bad timing than fault on the villa) was that on our first day (having arrived late the previous evening) the pool cleaner came first thing in the morning and cleaned & treated the pool which meant we couldn't use it for the whole day. We had 2 very dissapointed little boys.
All in we had a lovely time and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Sep 2021We contacted the property upon arrival and sent all information of broken items and items needing repair. We also informed the property that the back door leading out of the house didn’t lock. We stayed afraid for our safety in an open property. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Jan 2019We arrived January 6th, we have been renting Meera and Ravi's home for many years now, it is our Home away from Home! We are never disappointed when we arrive, the home is always lovely we are extremely comfortable here as it has all the amenities anyone would want.
We arrived after Debi M. and we did read her review, the pool did need help! What I found out was Executive Villa's was in the process of transitioning from one pool company to another and there was a bit of a lag between companies. I am happy to say we are very pleased with the new pool company and we shouldn't experience any more pool problems!
We just love Highlands as it is close to all the attractions but far enough away for relaxation!
We could not be happier with Meera and Ravi's home and hope to continue to rent this lovely home for many years to come!

Apr 2019This is the 6th house our family has rented in the Davenport area. It is by far the best house we have stayed in. The pool and lanai area combined with the location on the golf course is tough to beat. We will look to book this property again on our next trip to the area.

Aug 2021This home was just as pictured. Everything was beautiful and we enjoyed our time. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen. We tried to clean with Clorox wipes when we got there but they alway returned. You could tell that someone tried to spray before we got there because they didn't try to wipe the dead ants away. There were a couple of stains on the carpet and chairs but I expected that from the other reviews. If you have kids that are into video games...BRING YOUR OWN. That was mainly the reason for me getting the house, but there was not video game console or even any games in the game room. There was also no Dart board and the slot machine was broken. The pool was nice and so was the jacuzzi until we realize that the water drains out at night. We tried to fill it with the hose on the first night but it took forever and ran back into the pool...which I thought was going to over flow. Glad it didn't. So if you wanted to enjoy time in the jacuzzi at night... you will have to do it with no water in it. I'm guessing its on a timer but why would it be set to drain at 8 at night.There were some cigarette buds inside the pool area and outside the door but we just left them there. Overall it was a nice house and we enjoyed the time that we did spend there after our long day.

Aug 2019The pictures give the property no justice. The home is absolutely Beautiful! We utilized all the amenities, no issues what so ever with anything. All the appliances, TVs, WiFi & ect. worked perfectly. Pool table was a great feature as well that we enjoyed. The pool & spa was very clean no complaints. Local grocery store “Publix” was literally right out the neighborhood. 20min drive to Disney and universal. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thank you for the memories we made in your beautiful home. Can’t wait to book our future Florida vacation with you guys.

Jul 2021The master bed was the only one that was not complained about. It took us an hour to get into the house as the access code was listed wrong on the app (in the wrong place). Other than those things, the house was great!

Jul 2020The home was beautiful and looked like the pictures, the check in process was fantastic as well. However, the AC would not work the entire first day we were there and I called the number provided and left a message and had no response. Also, it rained the next day and the ENTIRE game room has a leak or foundation issues but the room was flooded and once again I called the property number and no answer.

Communication with Meera was great, she is professional, friendly and answered our questions before we traveled promptly. Apr 2019Our family loved the house. More than enough room and very well decorated. The kids loved the pool and the game room. We loved the location, it was very quiet and relaxing. The golf course view was beautiful. We will be staying here again.

Upon arrival, things appeared great except it took forever to get into the house and the property manager was not responsive at all! The inside of the house was clean, but there is a serious ant problem. When it was time for bed, I check all the doors and windows and found out that several of the windows were broken and didn’t lock. I called maintenance and he was rude and said there’s nothing he could do. Basically, I was forced to sleep in a home with my daughters with broken windows that anyone could access. I ended up staying up the entire night because I didn’t feel secure. The next day, the windows were fixed. The property manager nor owner, responded to any texts or calls made during my stay. In order to get help I had to call VRBO customer service and file a complaint. The property listing stated that the property had a grill that you could rent for $45. I was told after booking that was false. I also attempted to get pool heat added 2 weeks before my stay and even followed up 2 days before to ensure it would be available and of course it wasn’t added. The spa was cold and didn’t hold water and the pool needs a serious clean. The patio smelled like cigarettes which was annoying. Overall, the stay was not the best but I’m sure there are worst places out there. Just be mindful that the pictures posted are obviously really old and misleading.

Jun 2019Having visited this area number of times over the past 15 years , this is easily the best villa we have stayed in. The villa has everything that you could ask for to ensure a comfortable, relaxing stay. The spacious pool and spa area back on to a lovely openable indoor space that gives respite from the sun, without having to retreat indoors.
The villa has a rec room fitted with a full sized pool table with large TV and computer which offers a space for teens to spend their time.
Local to a Supermarket and bars and food outlets, the villa also has outstanding views directly on to the Highlands Reserve Golf Club which welcomes visitors daily.
The villa owner, Meera, could not do enough to ensure that we were enjoying our stay and kept in touch throughout the booking period to answer our queries.
I hope to return to this area again in the next few years and I will check availability here before anywhere else. I encourage any other visitors to do likewise.
