Jun 2019Wow! Words can not describe how wonderful our vacation at this York waterfront house was! From start to finish Dana, the homeowner, was super helpful in guiding us with restaurants, things to do, and was available 24/7 with quick responses to any questions we had. The home is gorgeous, the view even better and the heated pool was an added bonus for everyone to enjoy. The home is well equipped with anything you could want so you just need to pack your bags and arrive! It was clean and had wonderful spa amenities that you may never get in 5 star hotels! The two master suites and remaining rooms were comfortable and such a retreat at the end of the day! We have nothing but the best to say about this home! Can not wait to return!

Oct 2019We were 2 couples vacationing together and the home had two exceptional master suites. We were visiting in mid October and the nights were cool so we were disappointed we couldn't use the main fireplace (in the area next to kitchen and in the great room) or the fireplaces in the master bedrooms. The description in VRBO talked about the 6 fireplaces, but we could only use 1 in a room away from the kitchen, TV, and eating area. In the summer this wouldn't be an issue because you wouldn't want to use the fireplaces. Dana the owner was terrific and responded to questions immediately. We would definitely come back. The furnishings and home are all top quality.

Aug 2019We had such a good time in this amazing house! It is beautiful inside and everything you can think of is provided ! The lawn and gardens are manicured and cared for with such pride. Everything we needed from small requests to advise on things to do, Dana was there to help! It really is everything you see on line and more. Thank you Dana and his family for sharing their wonderful home! We all want to come back to York and to this exceptional home!

Jun 2022We booked this gorgeous house last minute in hopes of having a few days of fun with a couple friends and their kids. When we pulled up to the house we were greeted by the property manager/owner who was extremely kind and took the time to show us around the property. This home felt more like an estate than a house and it was exactly as advertised! It boasted 9' Ceilings throughout with abeautiful kitchen, living rooms, sitting areas, etc! Each of the bedrooms were spacious and ideal for families with kids!The outdoor grounds were immaculate and the pool did not dissapoint!! A couple members of my group wished it was a little bit warmer, but I know heating a pool to 75 or 80° F is extremely expensive. In short, if you have a large family or multiple groups with kids, this house is a must stay!Thank you Dana for your kindness and hospitality Very clean

Dec 2019The property was great for a family holiday get together over Christmas. The property manager, Dana, also decorated the interior in a holiday decor and put up a Christmas tree. The home is quite large and even with a sizeable group (~12), it did not feel like we were running into each other. It was an enjoyable experience and our family really appreciated having a home to handle our crowd. It made the holidays a wonderful experience.

Aug 2020The property is outstanding. Great location, great view, spacious, built to relax and enjoy. The home is in excellent condition with fine architectural details and spa quality baths. The pool and pool deck are sized perfectly and located a few steps from the house. Dana, the owner and property manager is a humble host. He went out of his way to make sure we were well versed with the systems in the home and the local York Harbor amenities. We will definitely be looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Dana!

Dec 2019The house is beautifully situated with lovely water views of the harbor. The house itself is elegantly furnished. The beds are all very comfortable as the mattresses seem quite new.
The kitchen is very functional and well stocked with equipment.
The owner Dana is most accommodating and helpful. He will do just about anything to insure your stay is perfect.
Our group loved our time in York.
If you have a group or large family that wants to visit the Maine Coast. This is the spot for you.

Oct 2022My family (which included 8 adults and 3 children ages 1 to 5 years old) stayed at this beautiful property for a week in August. Dana is an exceptionally attentive host and had a long list of recommendations for activities and dining in the area (like private chef Mel!). The house was huge and very clean. The location and views couldn’t have been better. And the pool was really lovely. Also, the Wi-Fi signal was excellent throughout the house (which was particularly important to me as I had to do some work!) and even at the pool.For the cost for this rental, there were a few minor things that we hoped could have been improved….The cooktop in the kitchen was very hard to operate. The TV in the main family room worked, but just barely. And a number of the chairs by the pool were broken.Overall, we’d highly recommend the house, and we had a wonderful experience with the host, Dana.

Jun 2019Initially planned to stay in Boston but very glad we decided on York. Entire family of 11 thought this was greatest ever. Dana is a super host with good recommendations on dining and activities. House is beautiful and spacious. Have already recommended to some friends. Will definitely be back.

Aug 2020If you’re looking for a worry-free vacation when it comes to location, views, and a beautifully designed house with plenty of space, this is it! The owner was very helpful and was accessible if needed, which he wasn’t. The house exceeded expectations! Huge kitchen with plenty of space for all while there are plenty of other areas in the house where you can escape if you need to. The heated pool was great to have as well! You can’t go wrong with an owner who cares, a great house with terrific views, and a location close to everything. We will be back!

Aug 2019Homeowner is extraordinary! He made himself available to us at check-in, day we were leaving, and all throughout the week. The property is perfect, plenty of room for (at one point) fourteen of us. The children LOVED having a pool, and the fishing was SUPER. Our only regret was not booking for TWO weeks instead of one. Obviously, we highly recommend this property.

My only criticism is that we went there the last week of September and we’re told the pool was heated; but turned out it was too cold to swim.Host was very receptive and always available.

Sep 2019Each year in early september we rent a house for six adult siblings and their partners. This was our first year renting with Dana, and it was outstanding. The house allowed us to gather all together to prepare and share a meal, or to find our own quiet spot to unwind.
Dana was always available to respond to a question or to help us with some outstanding recommendations that enhanced our stay.
We have rented a number of homes for our large family get together and this was absolutely one of our very best experiences.
