Aug 2020We've had a really good quality experience! The house is beautiful and comfortable. Bob was very thoughtful in all aspects of our stay and we found everything we needed at the time we needed it. Bob is very quick to respond to communications. We liked the location too, close proximity to great food/fish markets, public beaches. We've enjoying our stay at this house and on Martha's Vineyard a lot - it's a truly special place!

Jul 2022We really enjoyed our stay in this Vineyard house. Room enough for 6 adults, the house was very clean and it had some sweet, cozy touches that added to its charm. It had everything that we needed; from cable TV, WI-FI, AC, washer/dryer, and a very well stocked kitchen. The back deck was an added plus giving privacy and more room to breathe. It was very quiet at night. The outside shower was used more than the indoor one. Knowing and loving MV as we do, this was a perfect house for our family. Thank you, Bob. Everything was great!

Besides being on the water, you can't beat the location. There is a grocery store within a five min walk and everything you may need is short walk, bike or car ride away. Restaurants, mini-golf & ice cream even a hardware store! Thanks for the stay, Bob!

Besides being on the water, you can't beat the location. There is a grocery store within a five min walk and everything you may need is short walk, bike or car ride away. Jul 2019This location gave us a great feel of what it must be like to be a local. Everything was so convenient and an easy walk to the village of Vineyard Haven. The grocery and other conveniences right at the edge of the neighborhood were convenient. I had gotten poison ivy and needed the walk in clinic across the street. It was very convenient with an appt within 15 min. I recommend this house for a relaxed stay in the Vineyard.

Jul 2022This is the second time in 4 years that we stayed at Bob's property. The house has all the comfort an items that you need for a fun vacation with your family. My favorite spot is the deck with the lounge chairs. Perfect for a morning coffee! Also, Bob was very friendly, responsive, and flexible to our needs and last minute changes. Thank you. We will be back again!

Jul 2018This is a very clean and well supplied cozy beach-type home about a mile inland surrounded by wooded property. It was quiet and away from the touristy hustle and bustle a mile away from the shore. There were utensils for cooking as if we were at home and every morning we were awakened by birds singing and wild turkeys slowly meandering out from the woods to take a casual stroll through the front yard, which we found very charming. It was the best of both worlds: a short walk, car or bike ride to the beach and the privacy of a wooded property.

Aug 2019The home was nice. We were a little worried about the location because we usually do not stay in Vineyard Haven but it ended up being fine. The whole island is pretty accessible. My only and main issue with the property was the amount of bugs/insects that were in the house at night. I did speak with the owner and he was going to promptly look into it.

Aug 2014Prior to renting this unit, we were a little concerned we would be too far away from the action. But one we stayed, we found out this was not the case. The key towns on MV are just a short drive away. We also biked everywhere and the cottage was in a good central location for doing that.
The property was very clean and well maintained. My family of four stayed for 5 days and it was more than large enough for all of us.
We were very pleased and plan on staying here again when we return to MV.

Aug 2021Our family of 5 had a great stay here. The property is well located and well stocked. Very nice getaway for all and loved the deck and outdoor shower! Very comfortable - especially if you like mattresses on the more firm side.

Aug 2021My friends and I had a fabulous time on the vineyard! We had a car so the location was great, not a far drive anywhere we went. House was perfect, would definitely rent again and recommend this property to others!

Aug 2020My family of 5 and my mother in law stayed for the week. While the cottage only sleeps 6 there was plenty of room throughout the house for all of us. There is also a great back deck where we had our dinners. Close to great beaches, biking and hiking. We hope to stay again next year.

Jun 2018Bob's home was perfect for our trip and he was very receptive if we had any questions or issues. The house is right next to a local grocery store and just a short walk from downtown. We will definitely want to stay here again.

Aug 2019Bob's home felt like a home away from home. It was cozy and had all the comfort my family was looking for. Bob also made it better with prompt responses to all my questions. He was also very accommodating and made sure the house had everything we needed.
I would highly recommend this place. It was such a pleasant experience staying there that we plan to come back again.
