Was a perfect stay. House had everything you needed. Game room was fun. Owner communicated well and assisted with everything. Only drawback was the hottub was never warmer than the pool. Everything else was perfect. Great location. Loved the tennis court and nature trail at the resort. Will be coming back for sure!!

Villa is in a great location. Very clean and comfortable. Frederic was very helpful even during hurricane Ian. Would highly recommend.

This was a last minute minute planned visit and I could not have asked for anything better. The house was just the right size for 5 adults and I child and a dog! Easy access to grocery store and Walmart. Kitchen had everything!!! Definitely will reserve again next year!

There were extra towels and pillows and plenty of hot water for the 6 of us!We enjoyed it so much we rented again for next year!

This is the third time my family and I have stayed in Emerald Island resort. We love the community. This house was very well maintained and convenient to near by attractions. The owner of the home contacted me prior to arriving and stayed in contact with me throughout the trip! I will definitely book with this owner again!!

This house was great for our party of 9. Only complaint would be the second master bed was terrible. Very uncomfortable, so for my husband and I we were a little disappointed but the other family said their beds were fine. The swimming pool and hot tub were amazing after the long days at Disney. Overall I’d stay again but I’d want the actual master bedroom with a nice comfortable bed.

The warm Florida sunshine, our own private pool, and everyday walks kept us smiling, as well as our house hosts Fred and Marie. We had originally planned a Fun Family and Friend vacation conveniently located near Disney World and many other attractions, however Everything quickly changed due to the Covid Virus. Steve and I made the best of our vacation and decided to Stay and Enjoy the Beautiful weather. Fred was very attentive to any concerns that we may have addressed and kept our laughter going with his sense of humor. We truly enjoyed our stay and WILL BE RETURNING next year but this time with Our Family and Friends. Thank-You Fred and Marie for the Wonderful hospitality . SEE YOU AGAIN SO0N !!

The property came with a surprising amount of necessity items - toiletries (including hotel style bar soaps, shampoo, etc.), all dishwashing necessitates, matches for the charcoal grill, plenty of towels, trash bags, etc. Just be prepared to pay $10 a card for key card access at the front office and fill out guest paperwork upon arrival, took about 20-25 minutes to get past the security gate and complete the arrival process as they are quite busy with guests.

I know they have outside cleaning services and was somewhat shocked to find a well chewed dog bone under the bed and some other minor cleanliness issues. One of the biggest negatives was check-in at Emerald Isle was a nightmare, we waited in line for quite sometime at the gate just to start the process. The amenities at the Resort are outdated and in dire need of updating. Parking rules at the resort are not enforced, people parked on sidewalks so you could not push a stroller without going in the street. Several days we could not sit out by our pool because people renting next door frequently smoked marijuana and the smell limited us to being able to enjoy the pool. I would have thought security could have politely addressed this. Overall, I feel the house was well maintained, tastefully decorated and the property manager was super. I would rent from this property manager again if he had property that was not at Emerald Isle Resort.

The house and owner were great. We didn’t do Disney but it was very close to the parks. Only had one small problem but there owner came out and it was fixed within a half hour. Pool was great, lots of safety features on doors leading out to the pool and safety fencing Around the pool.

The house and area overall were great! The only issue we had which was a privacy issue and a security risk was the property manager showing up unannounced on 2-3 occasions in which he would enter the pool area through the screen door without notification to check on the pool. The only reason we saw him was because the curtains were open toward the pool area. That made us uncomfortable, a bit paranoid, and made the stay kind of creepy the rest of the trip. But again, the house was clean, spacious, and well maintained.

The home was very dirty throughout. The showers had white scum like it had not been cleaned in months. The tile grout was black with dirt throughout the house. The white towels in the bathroom were so old and dirty, that they were gray in color. So glad we brought our own towels. The pool area was dirty as well as the water. We had to net clean the pool prior to using it and the property manager asked that we fill it to the proper level. The pump for the pool is also on a timer, turns off at 11 pm and comes back on at 8 am. Even after net cleaning by hand (the pole was broken) it appeared that there was hair and skin cells coming out from the jets, completely disgusting. The mattress in the master bedroom appears to be very old as it was not sleepable because it was very lumpy. The patio door leading out had at least 1 inch of dirt on the door jam. We left 2 days earlier than planned because the house felt so dirty. Also, the owner controls the thermostat and likes to keep the house at 74, which is pretty hot as Florida is humid hot…the game room does not have an AC because it’s an addition to the garage, so that couldn’t be used because if you kept the door open, the AC would shut off because the owner has it set to turn off if any doors leading out are open greater than 5 minutes.. I do not recommend staying at this house, our experience was awful. I did tell the property manager about our experience and his response was, “sorry about that!” The resort that the property is located appears beautiful when entering, but the house did not meet any reasonable expectation of comfort. For the price of this vacation rental, I would expect a nicer stay. Avoid this rental at all costs!

We heard horror stories from other people with a different manager whose complaints about a green, algae-filled pool went unanswered for three days! We had no problems.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay; the home was nice, the pool was clean. Our only real challenge was the temperature. It was set to 74 during the day and went to the upper 70s at night; and the thermostat was locked. Understanding that the owners don't want to be stuck with incredibly high electric bills, the stated/documented 'policy' was that the thermostat locks and temps were to avoid hvac freezes. We lived in Florida for 10+ years and never had our hvac freeze up. Thankfully the owner did allow us to move it down to 70 but, at night, that just wasn't enough. We would wake up sweating each evening and had to bring a box fan into the master bedroom to allow us to sleep.. The ceiling fan shook or was loose and ticked so loudly that we couldn't leave it on at night. Other than that, our stay was great. I would encourage the owner to spend a few dollars on shower liners; the one in the master bath was red with mildew. Also, the hair dryers in the guest baths were overheating and we had to go out and buy our own. Lastly, we were a little surprised that there was an envelope on the counter for a tip for the cleaning personnel. We paid a $140 Cleaning Fee and $125 Pet Fee and were not anticipating being asked to leave a tip. We left the house almost as clean as we found it, and there weren't any pet messes. Overall, it was a great trip and we'd stay there again. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Lots of room. Great layout. Nice pool in back yard. Fully stocked with everything to make our stay wonderful. Frederic was very responsive from pre-check in, through arrival and our stay.

The pool was perfect and the game room was great entertainment. There are TONS of towels there which was awesome and the start up bundle of necessities was perfect. I couldn’t find anything to complain about the entire week. We are already trying to plan future disney/discovery cove trips so we can stay here again. We highly recommend this place!

If theme parks and traffic are your thing, this is a good home for a family. The community had a pool, mini golf, tennis, and was gated. Be aware the gate fee is additional. The bedrooms are on the small side, but suited sleeping fine. The house had everything one would need, but could use some fresh towels and kitchenware. The property manager was great to work with.
