This house is well set up for a group of people. Acacia Bay is a nice quiet area and we enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable.

The downstairs bunk room was damp and mouldy/musky. We moved all the kids upstairs and did a Marae-style in the lounge. There were issues with the power fuse too.

Renting this property went smoothly.We did find the property cold on the first night especially those in the downstairs bedrooms as we had problems with the fuses blowing. There was plenty of bedding even with the number of beds. Was a nice quift locationand nice being able to walk down to the lake. Is a problem with mice in the bedroom downstairs with the bunks this is reason I only rated cleanliness at 3 as lots of droppings. Feel traps need to be set to deal with the problem.

Plenty of space and parking, home like feeling, ideal location with a dairy located at about 3 mins walk, warm and cozy house. Best for a group of families visiting Taupo or making Taupo their stopover for further travel to Ruapehu. We all had a great time at this property and would highly recommend it.

Overall was a great couple nights, quite street with a beautiful morning view of lake from kitchen and deck. Plenty of space for large families will definitely be back in summer.

Loved the view, walking distance to the lake and only minutes from town fantastic

Hi there . Overall a great property for our needs. Host were very accommodating of our needs.house well set up. The bunk room was great for the kids to hang out. There are a few maintenance issues that need addressing like the hand rail. Thanks for a great weekend

Hi there!Firstly the location of the house, parking space, view and size of the property was fantastic.We did not realise until late on the Friday night that the plumbing in the house was not working so none of us 8 guests could shower which was not ideal but upon contacting Taupo Rentals Saturday morning the sent a plumber straight away which was really appreciated. We did not want to call at 9 pm once we had realised the situation so waited until morning. The plumbing blunder was, of course, no one's fault and we were glad to have it sorted so quickly. On a more negative note, I have to say I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the house. All of the surfaces needed a good wipe down, dead bugs on all windowsills and two oven trays covered in fat in the oven. There was also not one roll of toilet paper in the entire house. It would have been good to be told we had to BYO and to be honest when paying $500 per night it was disappointing to think some toilet paper could not have been supplied. I definitely would not have had these gripes if we had paid the average cost for this house quoted on HomeAway which is $278. Overall we had a great stay but must say for what we received $500 per night was too steep.I hope this feedback helps and thank you again for your quick response to our plumbing issues of Saturday.Kind Regards,Emma.

Great views and perfect for a family stay

Great place to stay, stunning view of lake Taupo. Unfortunately one of are group was Electrocuted while using the vacuum cleaner that had taped up .

Great location close to the lake. Awesome back yard for playing cricket etc. More than adequate beds for a large group.

Great location and really affordable

Good spot, great views from the deck. Didn't have any hot water Saturday and Sunday, Hot water switch was on, didn't receive any instruction on the hot water

Fantastic property, right near the lake. House and property is spacious and has everything you would need. Would definitely recommend to others and use again.

Awesome house, great location, heaps of parking space. Thought cleaning includes getting rid of rubbish, a bit disappointed this wasn't the case.Property was reasonably clean, had to contact property manager for details on where to pick up keys.
