Mar 2020What a wonderful house and a very thoughtful host. The house has all you would need for a beach holiday, from complete kitchen to multi-media entertainment system. Highly recommended for couples or families. Thank you Dale

Mar 2021We were not blessed with great weather ( actually torrential rain) but this house exceeded expectations big time.
The garden was fabulous, with a gate and fencing but also a tropical vibe. The house was immaculately and artistically decorated. ( it really inspired me) . Everything had been thought of to the Dyson fans in the bedrooms. We will be back in better weather . Its close to the beach and shops . Just a piece of magic. Can't fault it. Just adored the retro vibe. Felt like I'd come home.

Oct 2020We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Retro Beach House. The house was immaculately presented, great layout and decor, with thoughtful and generous inclusions. Our dog loved exploring the secure back yard, and we had visits from various birdlife. Close to the beach, corner store and cafe. The hosts were responsive to questions, and very accommodating. HIghly recommended.

Jan 2022We loved our stay in this charming cottage with its comfortable furnishings and lovely garden. The only thing we had trouble with was the The key safe. It was very difficult to open (WD40). Didn’t love having to BYO Bed & bath linen for this tariff, didn’t notice that was required until I accessed the property information just before arrival.

Nov 2021We had a perfect stay at Dale & Mark’s Pearl Beach property. The house is very cool, very uniquely styled which I loved! Pet friendly which is great. We love taking our dog away with us and it’s great to be able to do so and have a place that welcomes pets. Immaculately clean with a well equipped kitchen. Very large backyard for the dog. Close to the beach. Very comfortable bed. We had a great weekend! Would definitely book again.

Jul 2020We had a fantastic four night stay at Pearl Beach in this wonderful house. It was so perfect for our family of 4 and Cavalier King Charles dog. We loved everything about the beautifully decorated house & backyard. So many nice touches. We will definitely be back!

Feb 2020We enjoyed the entire stay here. Our questions were answered promptly before & during the stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more, including basics like salt, tea & coffee. A safe back area for the dog...we will book this house again!

Oct 2020We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. It is truly dog friendly and our Miss Freckles loved the back yard and dog beach which is just minutes away. Everything about the cottage was lovely and the quirky furnishings were a delight. We will definitely be back for a visit in the new year.

Sep 2022We absolutely loved our short stay. The furnishings and comfort of the house was lovely to relax within. A well stocked house and kitchen made us feel right at home with all the creature comforts. And we had the best night sleep in a comfy bed with the sound of the waves in the background. The back deck & tropical garden was a lovely place to recline and relax with a drink in the afternoon. We will be back!

Nov 2021Very nice open plan kitchen, dining lounge area at the rear of the house with a back deck overlooking the garden, Great place for a small dog as it was very safe in the yard. Off street parking for larger vehicle was good and easy access. The bedrooms were at the front of house and not as quiet but fine for us. Bathroom was very clean with walk in shower. Great for 2 to 4 people. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Oct 2020This was our second stay - and it did not disappoint.
Despite it raining most of the time we were there we had a great stay. Chilled out - read a book - watched Netflix - drank red wine - nibbled on a selection of cheeses. Escape from Sydney was the tonic we needed.
With just a short walk to the local cafe - that important morning coffee was well within reach!
Our Westie loves the garden - lots of interesting smells to investigate - lots of lawn to roll on.
We will be back.

Aug 2020This is a beautiful house in a perfect location. Everything you could need for a getaway has been thoughtfully considered. This was like a home away from home. Pearl Beach and surrounding areas didn't disappoint and the fact we were able to take our dog with us made the entire stay a perfect one.

Nov 2021This house is lovely. The interior design is spot on. A great sense of styling. Very user friendly. Really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck for breakfast. Back yard was enjoyed by our small dogs. Highly recommend this house.

Dec 2021This charming little home has a beachy, casual feel; a well equipped kitchen; and is meticulously clean. Add to this a tropical rear garden that is ideal for lounging, and outdoor dining. And it is a short tree-lined walk to Pearl beach.

Aug 2020The property was just beautiful, more so than the images. The owners' collection of retro objet d'art was amazing. It felt like we were staying in a little haven created with love and passion. I definitely recommend it for a couple of people who want to have a getaway in peaceful, creative environment.

Oct 2020The location of the house was great and it was really cute with art deco decorations. It had everything you needed. The only thing was the cleanliness of the kitchen equipment and bbq. Also the back yard needed a clean. Host was great with communication and helpful. Overall we had a great stay. Thanks
