Mar 2017Whilst the property could do with a little work the location is amazing. The property needs a good clean and the windows and doors need some work to stop them from sticking. Beds are hard, could do with a topper and the place feels dirty with water marks on the roof in some of the bedrooms.

Jan 2019We stayed here for 9 nights 24 Dec to 2 Jan and had a total dream of a holiday! We have a 3 year old and invited my parents along, there was so much to do for everyone. The views are amazing, and the rock pools just steps from the back door are possibly the best rock pools I have ever seen. No need for the beach with rock pools like that! The house has been beautifully done up and styled perfectly. We were so sad to leave. Definitely want to come back one day soon.

Oct 2018We really loved the view, the bathroom is great with rainfalol shower. And the beds are extremely comfortable. Lidia the owner is awesome who answered every little questions we had. Not to mention there is TelstraTV with all the latest shows! Everything is superb! Can’t wait to go back next year!

Dec 2018We had a wonderful time at this remote part of Anna Bay. The cottage is in a great location an offers fantastic views from dawn to night. You hear nothing but the sound of the ocean. The property is well equipped and offered everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and where sad to leave. Would come back again anytime.

Jan 2020We had a terrific Christmas by the beach. Nice stroll along rocks protruding from the ocean, caught a few fish, flew kites, watched magical sunset, enjoyed fresh sea breeze while lounging (all from the comfort of property’s backyard).
Lydia is also a wonderful owner who responds to emails very promptly.
Only complaint is the old sofa (maybe put new covers or replace completely). Other than that everything is clean and in order.
I will definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

The owner is very accommodative and flexible.
We would definitely visit this place again and recommend it to anyone!

Feb 2022We had a great time over 7 nights with our 3 young children. The location right on the ocean is unbeatable and something really special. Amazing sunsets too. Short walk to Birubi Beach and a lovely playground at Robinson Reserve. The house is not in as good condition as the photos suggest. The bathrooms have been renovated but there are no drawers or cupboards for toiletries and there is a curtain instead of a door for the ensuite bathroom and no hooks for hand towels.Beds were comfortable but bedrooms could get stuffy as windows didn't open. The third bedroom has no fan and bed rolls around on wheels. BYO laundry powder, soap and kitchen condiments.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!

Jan 2016We had 2 wonderful weeks at ocean cottage. The boat fit nicely on the driveway and we walked to Birubi beach and swam in rock pools most days. Beautifully renovated , although could do w aircon in living space on hot summer days. Owners v responsive and easy to deal with.

Jan 2015We enjoyed our stay it was a beautiful spot although we had to contend with a few spiders and cockroaches and the lounge needs a clean. It did offer our family a great location to explore and play.

Feb 2015This location is perfect for families or a quiet getaway. We loved being able to see the kids from the balcony and enjoyed the ocean view. Lovely quiet neighbourhood.

May 2021The house was easily accessible and an awesome ocean view from the living room. We say a few dolphins and lots of bird life. The local rock pools were a treat for the kids and on occasion a great fighter jet display with the local fly by's. Birubi beach is within walking distance and a great cafe for lunch. Overall a great holiday stay.

Mar 2020The house location was perfect- such a lovely, picturesque view of the rock pools and open ocean, it was so calming sitting in the living room and watching the tide come in. The kids had a marvellous time and it was so close to the local beach/cafes/shopping district/eateries.
House was open and bright, warm and inviting. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean.
Linda was very prompt with communications and so accommodating. Highly recommend this for a family getaway. We would definitely stay again! The kids want to come back in the winter to do whale watching.

Jan 2017So sorry but I just can't give this property a good review. There was a blind which we were told about broken so we were worried when we tried to pull the blind up that we broke it surely paying so much a night it would have been common curtesy to tell us. The glass sliding doors where very dirty and the windows as well. Paint is off the walls and in the heat the loung room is like a furnace even with
the fans on. You enter this property through the laundry which is rather odd and ants where all over the floors most of the time.

Lots of rock pools for little kids, good fishing if so incline.
The cottage was well presented and met most of our needs.

May 2021Great location - the views, proximity to the water, Birubi Beach and great beach walks - unparalleled!!!The house is setup really well for families - great living spaces, well appointed and laid out to take advantage of those great views!!!We really enjoyed our stay - it was a great base to explore the region, or to just be quiet and relax. Will definitely stay again the next time we are up this way.
