Das Stablebase ist eine architektonisch gestaltete Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen Landschaft, nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum von Albany, atemberaubenden Stränden und Nationalparks entfernt.<br><br>Stallbasis ist ein in sich geschlossener Flügel unseres Hauses. Der Zugang erfolgt über die mit unserem Hausflügel geteilte Haupteingangshalle oder über Glastüren direkt von einem Decksbereich und einem Gästeparkplatz. Gäste sind herzlich eingeladen, in unserem 6-Morgen-Block zu schlendern, mit Pferden und Hühnern zu plaudern und ein paar selbst angebaute Gemüse und Kräuter zum Abendessen zu pflücken.<br><br>Das Haus und die dazugehörige Einheit wurden 2015 fertiggestellt und bieten alles, was Sie für einen erholsamen Urlaub an der unberührten Südküste von WA benötigen. Es verfügt über gut ausgestattete Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad und einen Wohn- / Essbereich, der mit einer Nordterrasse verbunden ist, um die ruhigen Sommerabende in Albany zu genießen.<br><br>Stablebase ist ein in sich geschlossener privater Flügel unseres Hauses und wurde nach den gleichen hohen Umweltstandards gebaut. Das passive Solardesign des Gebäudes ist hell und luftig mit einem hohen Maß an Isolierung, um die Räume im Sommer kühl und im Winter warm zu halten. <br><br>Die Gärten und Koppeln rund um Stablebase auf unserem 6 Hektar großen Grundstück werden nach biologischen und permakulturellen Grundsätzen angelegt, um die Landschaft und die Tierwelt zu verbessern und zu regenerieren. Die Produkte aus unserem Garten und Eier aus Freilandhaltung können Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts bei uns genießen<br><br>Wir sind immer nur ein Türklopfen oder einen Anruf entfernt. Wir arbeiten beide in Albany und sind in der Nähe, wenn Sie etwas brauchen. Sep 2017Wonderfully modern appointed accomodation, with everything we needed plus extra special treats provided by Tom & Sam. Loved the quiet location, close enough to get into the sights and activities we visited. Kids loved the chickens and horse as well

Apr 2016We really enjoyed our recent stay at this lovely property. We had 2 couples and a baby, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very generously sized with luxurious bedding. The architecturally designed home is stunning and the double glazed windows and insulated walls meant it was warm at night and we didn't need to light the fire. Kitchen is very compact though and not suited to cooking and washing dishes for more than 2 people. Only thing that we were not aware of upon booking was that the house is attached to the Owner's property (more of a guesthouse). This should not deter you, as Tom and his wife were very welcoming and made us very comfortable. We hardly knew they were there as the guesthouse isn't overlooked by the main house. We loved our stay and would happily return.

Jun 2022Tom and Sam were gracious as hosts. They were helpful when needed yet also respected our privacy during our stay.The property is first class. Well equipped and thoroughly clean. We would certainly recommend staying at this property if you are ever looking for accommodation in Albany.

Feb 2020The house was very enough for two - three people. Kept clean and tidy. Things needed (Towels, sheets, shampoo, etc) were all equipped. Beautiful balcony with enough space for snacks and wine/tea.

Bathrooms well designed and modern, especially good was the one that caters for the disabled, so easy to use for my Mum, who I brought away with my Dad for a break. Helpful after the recent death of a close family member. Thank you to Sam and Tom for their hospitality and the privacy of the accommodation, even though attached to the main house. The kitchen and living area were just the right size! My Mum particularly loved the undercover yet open outdoor sitting area overlooking the horses and green pastures! The consistent inside temperature was brilliant due to the eco nature of this beautiful home, no need for a fire at night even though wet and cold outside! Thank you so much.
