Jul 2022We were in Folly Beach for a family reunion with relatives coming from North Carolina, Charleston, New England, Florida and Alaska. We all had the best time and a big contributing factor was the house. It was big enough for my family and being right on the beach was great as we would set up a tent and spend the day. The other members of the family would stop by and join us. All in all we had a great time and were sad to leave. Everything connected to booking a house was smooth and easy. We’re planning on returning next year.

Oct 2020We've rented several houses in the past, and we'll be going back to this one from now on. It's got an ideal set up for having a couple different families with enough shared space for everybody to be together, but also enough room for people to have their own space and not feel crowded at all. You can hear the ocean from pretty much the entire house with the windows open! We had a mix of 2 year olds, 2 different families, grandparents, and a nanny and no one felt cramped.
We loved it and will be back!

Nov 2021We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a great place to have our reunion. The home needed some TLC in places but realize we were there end of season. The views were magnificent as well as the sunrise and sunset. One caution for older folks; there are a lot of stairs at the home and getting down to the beach, but there is an elevator and bedroom downstairs. Loved the deck for dining and lounging as well as taking in the beautiful view. We enjoyed watching the dolphins from the deck. We had a great time in this lovely home.

The bathrooms were really dated and need an upgrade. Some pant and minor repairs need to be done. We had a great time on the deck and the viewing rooms as it rained for several days. Overall, we enjoyed the house very much.

Jul 2021We loved this property! Wonderful location beachfront and 6 Blocks from town. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, great kitchens, lots of gathering areas. We Loved star-gazing from the master bedroom deck! Other great points- beach chairs are provided, wonderful breezy garage area and main deck, nice decor, perfect beach, and every thing you could possibly need! We will definitely come back!!

Jul 2020We loved this place. You can literally step off the porch and into the water. The water is warm and clean and there’s always wind/a breeze when you sit on the terrace which was great - no mosquitoes 😊The property and the beach it’s on were impeccably clean. The kitchen of the property was fully equipped and we were thankfully able to do grocery shopping (there’s a really nice publix not very far from there) and cook at home, which was a relief in pandemic times. Our landlady suggested Crosby’s for fresh seafood and we enjoyed buying fresh shrimp and fish to grill on the grill provided at the property. The last day of our stay in the late afternoon we saw 2 little turtles that had just hatched and were running to the sea. Pelicans flew all the time over the terrace and on one day we saw dolphins in the distance. We had a wonderful vacation, thank you Alicia!

Sep 2020We live locally but needed a break from our day to day. What a great location to be able to sit right on the beach all day. The home was clean and wonderfully appointed with cooking gear and beach towels! The owner was very responsive and so friendly. It was so great to bring our two dog family members. It's so nice to find vacation homes that realize that people who travel with their pets are normally very responsible pet owners.

Aug 2020This was our third year staying here and we love this home. The house was very clean and up to covid standards. The rooms are large and there is space to spread out. I love the bright sunroom with ocean views all day. The location on the island is perfect- the beach is not too crowded, and good waves for surfing.

Aug 2021This was a fantastic property! There was so much space all of the families could be centralized and together, or spread apart from some down time. Being so close to the beach was fantastic as well. Well stocked with kitchen supplies, and linens.

Nov 2021This ocean front house is wonderful for a big extended family. Two kitchens, plenty of bathrooms and beds. The house is spotless and the kitchens — very well equipped. Jun 2021This lovely home has it all! We had our son and daughter, along with their spouses and children, and all had plenty of room to spread out, play and relax in this laid-back beachfront home! The sun room and deck saw lots of family fun time and the beach was our backyard! Having all the conveniences of home, and enough room for us to enjoy quiet time from each other, too! (Grandma likes her nap!)
Would highly recommend this home for its location, cleanliness, and attentive owners, making our stay so enjoyable!

Another helpful thing about the house is all the gates leading down to the beach. The children ranging in ages 2-8 could play on the porch and we didn’t have to worry about them. The fully equipped kitchen supplied everything we needed. We will be returning. Thank you for our wonderful memories.

Layout separates living spaces so different families could have their own space.
The porch is awesome. Walk out drops directly on to beach. Easy walk to pier and downtown.
Well stocked with beach chairs etc which is so helpful. Elevator was great for elderly dad who struggles with stairs.

Jun 2022The property was great. Just a few comments to the negative. We were looking for light blankets for the beds. And the deck table is rusted and one leg of the table is broken - dangerous for children and pets. Also, rust particules fall on the deck. Other than that - awesome and great.
