Oct 2022Wonderful experience and house. Very clean and they really thought of every little detail to make the stay great. My daughter and I were there for my son’s BMT Air Force graduation and it was very convenient to get to base and to have a bbq and relax at the house during his town pass.. The pool was beautiful and close. This has to be one of the nicest experiences I have had renting a house! Thank you!

Jun 2020When I rented the property, I got an immediate response from the owners. Soon after I got the information including how to access the Property. We enjoyed the Property and our Dog was able to stay with us and he enjoyed the Backyard. The Property is close to HEB, Chic Fil A, Been Miller BBQ, Rudys BBQ, and Chuys making the trip easy. The owners had bottled water and all the necessities for a pleasant stay conveniently located at the property. We were in town to visit my Son at Lackland AFB, and this home gave my wife and I, as well as our other two boys the opportunity to spread out. We had a great visit, wish Seaworld would have been open cause it is very close. I would recommend this property and would come back on future visits. Great job to the owners for having everything easy for your guest.

Dec 2020We rent homes listed on VRBO 2 to 3 times a year. This was once of the nicest places we have stayed in over past several years. It was clean, well-stocked for cooking, and nicely decorated. We have two small dogs (about 30 lbs), and it was perfect. The kitchen and living room are tiled, so we didn't need to worry about them scratching the floor. And, it has a nice, fenced backyard with a grill. The dogs loved it. They even provided a box of pet toys and a cushion. It is also in a nice location immediately adjacent to SeaWorld and Markets. We will definitely stay here again if possible when we return to San Antonio.

Apr 2021We loved our stay at Casa Lion King. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to relax. Lots to occupy the kids after long days of sight seeing. You can't beat the location. Close enough to attractions but removed enough that it didn't feel like we were in the chaos of the city. Everything was just as we expected it to be. Check in and check out we're a breeze. Having the washer and dryer - and the detergent and softener - was a huge plus for our family. The kitchen was awesome and we used it for cooking a lot. It was nice to have a table that we could gather around. The wifi was great. Nice to have TVs in every room so there was no fighting over what to watch. Hosts we're responsive and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Great neighborhood, very clean home and amazing owners who were always quick to respond with anything we needed or any questions we had!! Highly recommended!!!

Aug 2022We came to San Antonio for our nephew's BMT graduation and stayed here. This worked out great as it is only 15mins (with no traffic) from JBSA-Lackland. This is also inside the 1604 boundary restriction the Airmen have during their off base town pass. The house itself was great for the 4 of us. There was plenty of room for us to relax without feeling cramped. We didn't have any issues at all, and the hosts provided some nice amenities in case anyone forgot something. It was also nice having the option to do laundry.The neighborhood is fine, no issues. During out visit, it was very quiet. The street is a bit tight with parking on both sides, but we didn't have any problems with our truck.Overall, a great place to stay. Should we find ourselves in the San Antonio area again, we will be staying here.Cheers,Jeff

May 2021We absolutely loved staying here! It was perfect for our trip with our friends to come visit San Antonio and take our kids to Sea World. The backyard and toys were greatly enjoyed by our children and made our stay enjoyable. We usually spent afternoons here cooking dinner and enjoying little the kids play.
We would love to stay again in the future. My son who is 4 even recalls how much he liked the house and the vacation with his friends.

Dec 2019This location was great for everything we wanted to do in San Antonio. It was also perfect for our family. We hesitate to take vacations because our children NEVER sleep when we are away from our home. This house felt so cozy, the kids kept calling it "our new house" and preferred to stay in the house and play rather than go explore the sites of San Antonio. But best of all... they actually slept! The room configuration was perfect for our 2, 4, and 6 year old. The owners provided a pack and play, which our 2 year old actually asked to sleep in, and the twin beds in the kids' room was perfect for our 4 and 6 year old. The DVD and toy collection helped to pass the time. We had a great stay and plan to return!

Lots of towels and extras. Barbecue pit and nice secured backyard. We were so comfortable here. We are definitely coming back in the summer. Great communication with the owners. No issues at all. The house is fully fully stocked with supplies, towels coffee creamer dishwashing liquid detergent for you washing your clothes etc.!!! They always have a huge case of water bottles waiting for you in the refrigerator plus snacks for when you arrive. This house has dog bowls, dog toys, the backyard is fully secured for your small dog or dogs. This rental has everything you can think of. The neighborhood is right behind Seaworld great location safe neighborhood. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans wine glasses blenders etc. The property owners are wonderful they respond quickly and the house is clean and so comfortable to stay and sleep. You will not be disappointed we love renting this house

Jul 2019This is not just a short-term rental property, but rather a home away from home. What makes this home so special is the careful attention to detail and added touches that the owner goes an extra mile to provide for guests. During our recent stay, my family and I need nothing but to hang our cloths in the closet. Basic foods, coffee, tea, and cooking supplies were stocked, cold water and ice were in the frig, shower and shaving gear, 100s of DVD movies, games, and I could go on and on. The owner even pre-loaded local attractions and maps on the guest computer. This has been the best VRBO home that my family has ever stayed.

Jan 2019This home was perfect. The home is very clean and had everything we needed. We were able to bring our graduate back for him to relax before becoming tourists in San Antonio. The proximity to local stores was very beneficial. We would highly recommend this home to anyone attending a graduation at Lackland.

Jul 2019The location and amenities for this home worked for all 6 members of our family. My son had his State competition for 4H skeet shooting so we were only 7 miles from complex. Also being close to Sea World worked well with our 3 day pass. It only took us about 20 minutes to get to the Riverwalk and other destinations we enjoyed during our week. The biggest thing for us was everything provided in the home. They think of everything! The pictures do not do this place justice. I also like to say that we only had 1 problem during our stay that was beyond the homeowners control, but let me tell you they were on top of it real fast! You can contact them anytime, and they will be there for anything that comes up! We all enjoyed our stay and plan to be back next year for competition again!

Aug 2019The initial rental process was easy! The owners contacted us promptly to provide more detailed info that put us at ease that our reservation was received and all would go smoothly. We received additional info just prior to our stay along with the code to access the property. Great! We're all set. We arrived and entered the home with no problem. The house was just as advertised, plus some! The owner went out of their way to not only ensure the home was cleaned, but it was stocked with basic essentials, cereal, popcorn, coffee, tea, paper and bathroom products, plus plenty of water in the refrigerator. The pet amenities (crate, door gate, bed, toys. Dishes and treats) were an extra special treat for our furry travelers. The laundry area was stocked with soaps, softeners, etc. It had absolutely everything we needed. The backyard is completely fenced in and held even our extremely small dachshund securely. It had a grill (too hot to use in mid-August when we were there, but nice!) and a good supply of charcoal with plenty of outdoor furniture for those warm evening get togethers. I would highly recommend this property and the owners to others!! We had a great week there with zero drama or problems! Thank you for making our trip so pleasant.
