Jan 2022Winter guys trip. The house is very spacious and was described perfectly in the listing. We planned ice fishing (didn’t catch a thing!), snow skiing/tubing at Mt Holiday, and dinner at a couple places. The house has everything you need (we had 5 people, but the place can hold many more than thatcomfortably). Used the fire pit and chairs that were there. Good communication with the owner. I would rent this again if looking for lakefront just outside of Traverse City

Oct 2022We slept 12 comfortably in this cabin for a girls family trip! The cabin was super clean, and we had no issues at all. The host is extremely friendly and easy to reach. Definitely would stay again! Beautiful view on the lake too!!

May 2019We rented this property for our family during the Cherry Cup Soccer Tournament. All questions we had were responded to quickly and the check in process was very easy. The home was very clean, kitchen was stocked well beyond what we expected, bathrooms and bedrooms had quality linens/towels as well as a few odds and ends to make our stay easier (blowdryer, tissues, fans etc). We had 4 adults and 3 kids for the weekend and we all felt as though we had our own personal space. The weather during our stay was mostly rain but when it cleared up we were able to make use of the grill, firepit and the dock for fishing. We plan to stay at this house again for the Cherry Cup next year as it felt like a home away from home!

Sep 2020We originally booked this location for a wedding in the area. While the wedding was canceled, we still decided to come enjoy a change of scenery. How perfect this place was!! We have 3 small children (2.5 and under) and the large rooms allowed for great napping and sleeping locations for all the littles. GREAT proximity to TC. But the best is the view and setting on this quiet lake. The weather couldn't decide if it was fall or summer but we still enjoyed the water via provided kayaks and bonfires down on the waters edge. We plan to come back soon....
The little private beach would be perfect for toddlers and young kids!! Richard was very helpful and attentive. Thank you!!!

Aug 2019We loved this property! The accommodations were as described on the listing. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. There was a sandy entrance and bottom to the swimming access from the property. There was ample seating around the campfire for our group of 6 adults and one child. We rented a boat and docked it on the property. We are already talking about next year! Thank you for the great week!

Oct 2018We just rented this place this past weekend for a wedding we were attending in the area. Three couples and we absolutely loved the place. The view of the lake was so nice and it was chilly so we had a fire down by the water. We will definitely be back and as one husband said - "Tracey you found a great place - I would give this place a 10!"

Nov 2021We had a great time at this Vrbo. We were in the area for a wedding. We spent 4 nights here. The property was so clean and the lake front was gorgeous. We had pretty crappy weather which was sad but overall truly enjoyed this stay. We will be back!

Aug 2020We had a great time at this rental. They had everything we needed and the house was comfortable with plenty of room for five adults and two children. We spent most of our time at the water and used the kayaks many times. The raft was perfect for laying in the sun. If you're planning on going into town, Traverse City is 10-15 minute drive. Thanks Richard for the use of your home!!

Nov 2022This house was perfect for our 3 small families on Iceman weekend. A bit far from the start line, but a quick 25 minutes from Timber Ridge. The house was spacious and had everything we needed and then some in the kitchen. The lake is gorgeous, and we caught a beautiful sunrise. The teens enjoyed their own space to hang out in the basement away from the parents :-) Overall a really nice rental, and it was nice to chat with the owner the night before we arrived, in case we had any questions.

Feb 2019The house is very nice and comfortable. It is new and clean and with 3 bedrooms and 6 beds, there is plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with various cooking implements. Didn't really see the water side as it was completely snowed in. Six of us were in Traverse City for a couple days of snowmobiling and snow shoeing. the drive easily parked 4 vehicles. The cost was quite reasonable for the number of sleeping possible and in relation to other rentals in the traverse City area.

Had a couple of fires in the fire pit as well. Gorgeous views. Nice kitchen! Kayaks were a bonus !! Very clean property. Plenty of linens too! 💙❤️

This made for a great base to explore the Traverse City area as well as a great place to spend all day floating in the lake.

Dec 2022Our family of ten occupied this house for four nights over Thanksgiving. Wonderful stay! Fully stocked kitchen; beds for everyone; beautiful lakefront views. We had the best gathering in quite awhile and the accommodations add to the pleasure. Definitely will stay again.
