Gelegen in Nantucket, dieses schön entire house für EUR 3’118 pro Nacht ist ein großartig Option für Ihr nächstes Urlaub. Dies ist eines der prächtigsten Anwesen an der Südküste der Insel. Wenn Sie dem Alltag entfliehen wollen, dann ist es das! Unser Haus befindet sich auf einem 3 Hektar großen Grundstück mit Steinmauern, einer langen Einfahrt und einem runden Parkplatz aus Ziegeln. Es grenzt an hunderte Morgen Naturschutzgebiet. Der ungehinderte Blick aus dem großen Raum im Obergeschoss ist auf das Madaquecham-Tal und das Meer.
Neu für die Saison 2011: Wir haben einen großen beheizten Pool (60 Fuß x 18 Fuß), der für Runden oder zum Schwimmen geeignet ist. Er verfügt über eine automatische Sicherheitsabdeckung, ein Poolhaus und einen Tennisplatz.
Das Haus wurde 2008 komplett renoviert.
Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich 4 Schlafzimmer, die hübsch im Sommerhausstil eingerichtet sind. Es gibt auch 2 neue Vollbäder mit brandneuen Armaturen, Schieferböden, einer sauberen weißen U-Bahn-Dusche und einer Badewanne / Dusche in der anderen. Es gibt auch eine schöne Waschküche mit separatem Eingang von der Seite des Hauses. Draußen ist eine neue und geräumige Outdoor-Show
Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein großer Raum mit hohen Decken, eine brandneue Woodmode-Küche mit Granit, eine Halbinsel und eine Essinsel. Das Dekor im Obergeschoss ist im Stil eines Sommerhäuschens gehalten, mit wunderschönen, antiken Flügelartikeln aus englischer Kiefer, gemütlichen, rutschfesten Reisebussen, handwerklichen Holzarbeiten und erstklassigen, mit Öl eingeriebenen Bronze-Beleuchtungskörpern und Deckenventilatoren.
Das Innere des Hauses ist frisch in einer weichen französischen Vanille mit weißen Akzenten gestrichen. Klare weiße Gardinen wiegen sich in der Meeresbrise. Im ganzen Haus gibt es neu renovierte Kiefernböden. Eine Fenstertür führt zu einem nach Süden ausgerichteten Deck mit atemberaubender Aussicht sowie einem großen Essbereich aus Korbgeflecht und einem Gasgrill. Auf dem Unterdeck befindet sich eine Weidengruppe im Freien, die aus einem Liebessitz, einem Stuhl und einer Ottomane sowie einem Kaffeetisch mit Elfenbeinkissen besteht.
Die Meeresbrise hält Sie sehr komfortabel, aber wenn Sie es wünschen, verfügt das gesamte Haus über eine zentrale Klimaanlage.
Die Küchenzeile des Pool Cabana ist mit einem Spülbecken auf dem Bauernhof, einem Kühlschrank unter der Theke, einem Getränkezentrum, einer Eismaschine, einer Mikrowelle und einem Mixer ausgestattet. Es gibt eine atemberaubende Mahagoni-Theke mit Marineausführung und fünf Barhockern, die sich perfekt zum Servieren von Snacks und Getränken am Pool eignet. Angrenzend an die Cabana befindet sich eine schattige Backsteinterrasse mit einem runden Tisch aus Korbgeflecht, Stühlen und einem Gasgrill. Im hinteren Teil der Cabana befinden sich ein Umkleideraum, ein Badezimmer und eine Außendusche, die alle günstig am Pool liegen.

The birds singing in the morning, the kids getting herbs from the garden, toasting marshmallows in the fire pit, hosting a bridal luncheon by the pool. Oct 2015We loved the house and the property. The pool was amazing with a great pool house. The tennis court was in great condition and my kids loved playing in the yard and making s'mores in the fire pit. I can't say enough great things about this property.

Sep 2013We had another wonderful vacation at Debbie and Ed's gorgeous Nantucket home! The pool setting could not be more lovely - and the recently built cabana has every convenience you could possibly want. The luxury linens in the bedrooms were brand new and an especially nice touch. We spent our days biking, playing tennis, hitting the nearby beach and enjoying the peace and quiet. We will be back!

Sep 2015We had a great stay at the house. My kids enjoyed the pool. The pool was new and nicely maintained. The tennis court was a plus to hit a few balls. Debbie was great and easy to work with. The house is comfortable and very clean. The upstairs family room kitchen area is light and nice to hang out in. The location is a short drive to the beach. Overall really fun time.

Aug 2013This may seem a bit unusual, but I decided it was well worth asking Debbie & Ed if I could write a 'pre-arrival' review for their beautiful home and property. To celebrate our 30th anniversary, my husband and I began to look at locations across the US and Europe. Nantucket ended up getting our vote - it is hard to beat the beauty of Nantucket in early fall. We looked at our options on a number of websites. There were many great choices during the time period we would be there...in town, on a beach, in a neighborhood, a property with more privacy, or a lovely hotel. We were close to confirming a decision to stay in a villa in town on the water. Before moving forward with that reservation, I decided to call Debbie with a few additional questions about their home and property. Over the past years, we have rented many homes through VRBO and Home Away, and always found the owners easy to work with. Working with Debbie and Ed was incredible! I have never encountered such a kind and generous owner who was just as excited as we are about celebrating our anniversary on Nantucket! Their home is perfectly located on the island and surrounded by beauty. The area is not overly crowded, but not isolated either. It appeals to people who appreciate unspoiled nature, the comfort of a beautiful home, tennis, swimming in a heated salt water pool, easy access to bike paths, beaches, and so much more. Conservation land surrounds their neighborhood, so the views and spectacular scenery will be preserved forever. The gorgeous home and property 'speak for themselves,' and the incredible generosity of Debbie and Ed is what sealed the deal for us! I will recommend this home to any friend who is heading to Nantucket! If you are considering a trip to Nantucket, give Debbie a call. We are counting down the days until we get there!

Aug 2015This is the perfect place to stay in Nantucket. The house is clean and comfortable with everything you need to feel right at home. The property is gorgeous with a swimming pool, tennis court and beautifully manicured gardens. There is a porch on the lower level and a balcony on the second floor, perfect for looking out over Nantucket with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Good location for exploring all of the island. Thanks for a great vacation!

Aug 2018This is a wonderful property, with lots of space and privacy. The pool was large and clean; the tennis court was well-kept; and Nantucket's most beautiful beach is a (very bumpy) five minute drive away. Everything was in good shape, and the owner was responsive and friendly. We hope to visit again!

Nov 2018This home was amazing. My family and I enjoyed it so much, as did my 2 year old son. The property is really unique. You can start your morning by playing some tennis followed by a dip in the pool then reading the morning paper outside by the fire pit. It is located very close to the airport and not too far from town. I really liked having property for my kid to run around on and not being too close to town. Was a great mini-vacation and I look forward to returning in the near feature. Also, owners of the house were easy to comminicate with and made renting very easy.

Picture perfect... Every detail thought of, from the magnificent salt water pool, cabana with great outdoor shower, tennis court, gardens....truly a gem with fabulous kitchen and wonderful views from all the rooms, tranquil vistas and a perfect vacation spot!!! We will be back !!

The tennis court was a huge draw as well, and many family tournaments ensued. The beds were extremely comfortable with luxury linens and the kitchen is well equipped for a high-end meal. The best part is the owners - our family has been going to Nantucket for more than 20 years and these owners are at the top of the list in terms of responsiveness, pleasantness and attention-to-detail. The bike ride to Tom Nevers on New South Road was a highlight and we highly recommend a SUV or similar for the nearby dirt roads. Lastly, the home is close enough to the ocean where mosquitoes don't come by, but far enough that the wind isn't blowing everything out of place. You'll have a great time.

Oct 2014Our family had a wonderful week at this house. The pool is amazing, the grounds are gorgeous and the nearby beach is pristine. Definitely need 4-wheel drive to get to Madaquecham. Too far to walk easily and there are deep ruts in the sand road.
Debbie was very accommodating throughout the entire process. She could not have been more helpful and was a pleasure to work with as we coordinated our large group's visit to lovely Nantucket.

The charming and comfortable house is very close to one of the best beaches on the island which is a long walk or short bike/car ride away. The view from the large 2nd floor deck off the open plan living room/kitchen is breathtaking - unobstructed views to the water in the distance! But we were also thrilled to relax in the private compound by the pool and cabana. An added bonus was the artificial grass tennis court that we took advantage of as well.The owners are very accommodating and have thought through every amenity needed during our stay. The kitchen was quaint but perfect for our holiday with every appliance needed, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, and microwave . There are loads of dishes, glassware, serving pieces, baking tins/sheets, and small appliances. The breezes that flowed through the kitchen and living room were wonderful.

Sep 2015In Madequecham, surrounded by conservation lands, we were sheltered from the August Nantucket crowds. We shared the nearby beach with no more than a handful of others and enjoyed the refreshing ocean. The beach is a fifteen to twenty minute bike ride from the house. One could drive in less time but it would be wise to have a four wheel drive vehicle for the soft sandy roads. Mostly we spent time at the beautiful private salt water pool. It is an ideal size for swimming laps or for relaxing in one of the inner tubes provided. Around the pool is a delightful bar area, perfect for cocktails or outdoor dining. The large rectangular yard is perfect for playing soccer, croquet, or other outdoor sports and the tennis court adds another sports option. Most evenings we enjoyed dinner on the upstairs deck with expansive views of the sky and distant ocean. The living room is comfortable and provided with a large screen TV and lots of board games. We appreciated the ample kitchen for preparing meals and the large washer dryer for loads of towels. The house has two beautiful, roomy outdoor showers which provide the best place for bathing. Guests should be aware that the bedrooms are nice but quite small. Quality grocery and seafood stores are conveniently within a ten to fifteen minute drive. If you are one who appreciates natural beauty and being out-of-doors this house is a lovely option.

Sep 2016I highly recommend this property. Everything was as advertised. House, pool and tennis courts were great. Everything very clean. Easy access to fantastic beaches. Very private. Importantly, Debbie (owner) provided great customer service. She was incredibly responsive and very helpful with dinner and activity recommendations. Really can't say enough good things. Our whole family had a great time (3 kids, ages 18, 15 and 5).

Oct 2018I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and property! A manageable drive from town and Sconset, this home is situated on the ultimate Nantucket property. Secluded, peaceful, tranquil and high end— it is the perfect balance of classic Nantucket and luxury vacationing.
The home itself is classic Nantucket— cozy and charming with ocean breezes blowing through airy curtains. Views from every window allow you to take in the expanse of dunes and water beyond. The real highlight of the home though is the property. With a beautifully maintained garden (including a small vegetable garden with fresh herbs etc), exceptional pool and tennis court… it was the ideal home base with plenty to keep the kids busy when we weren’t at the beach.
I would sincerely recommend this property— a beautiful, well-maintained home with a truly unique property that would be tough to match on island. The owner clearly loves this home and was available throughout our stay for questions and recommendations.

Aug 2017A very nice one week stay. The property is an a very quiet area, with well maintained tennis court and pool. It's a half-mile walk to the beach but what you get in this area is a great sandy stretch with no crowds.
