Jul 2020Wonderful vacation spot . Near enough to restaurants, boating & shops but far enough away to rest & relax . If you want both , this cabin is what you need . Marsha & Steve are great too ! Enjoy ;)

Sep 2022We've been renting cabins every summer for the past 25 years, and there are things that identify a good cabin: open space, a comfy not overstuffed couch, a firm bed, and sharp knives in the drawer--and this cabin ticked all of the boxes. We enjoyed our visit, the beach, and the ambience, and will return.

Oct 2022We loved this cottage in the woods! Steve & Marsha were welcoming and very responsive to any questions we had. Steve even lent us a card table when he saw we were working a jigsaw puzzle on the dining room table. The cottage is very well appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The kitchen is small, but had everything you could need. We travel with our dog and having the small park so close was great for walks. The path to the lake is a short walk. and we enjoyed the sunsets from the private deck. There are loads of things to do nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Jun 2020This is a great little cottage in the woods located minutes from the beach. It is quiet and I even scared a deer in the yard one morning (or he scared me). It was great being able to bring my dog and she was in heaven with all the enticing smells. Marsha and Steve are helpful and friendly and live nearby so they can help with any issues that may arise. We hope to return to this lovely place.

May 2021The property exceeded our expectations. Especially the location. You can walk out to the waters of Lake Michigan, and the view is stunning. We were also able to have beach bonfires which was a first time experience for everyone in our 4 person party. Just the views and the lake is well worth it. The only downside is that one bedroom had the queen bed for one couple but the other bedroom had small twin beds for us. This is more fitted for a family with kids not couples. But that was minor.

May 2021The cottage was just as described. It was a cozy little space to getaway. We loved the setting and enjoyed cooking and relaxing after a day of exploring nearby towns. There were also plenty of good restaurants in the area.

Oct 2020The cottage is very homey, comfortable and charming. We had everything we needed but do bring anything you will need for cooking including cooking oil etc.
The location is wonderful with a feeling of being in the woods and a short walk and stair climb down to a gorgeous lake Michigan Beach. Saugatuck and hiking trails are short drive away. The owners were fantastic . Very welcoming gracious and great communicators.

Nov 2021Thank you Steve and Marsha for sharing your cottage. We had a wonderful time staying here. We walked the beach every morning, even walking as far as we could past Pier Cove Beach. Great rock hunting, was lucky enough to find a petoskey stone. We also hiked Sanctuary Woods Preserve, Wau-Ke-Pa Preserve North and South Tract, Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area and Oval Beach. We were brave enough to tackle Mt. Baldhead with it's 300 stairs to climb. Being out in nature was what I needed to recharge before heading back home. We felt so at home in your lovely yellow cottage. Would love to come back to the peace of your place. Thank you, Brenda and Mike

Oct 2020Such a cute cozy little cottage. It was perfect for our family of 5. It was so great to be able to walk down to the water for a morning stroll. Our family loved it so much we will be back.
