We enjoyed Julie's cottage so much on a weekend visit last year that we came back for a week's stay. It was just perfect. The cottage is in a beautiful location, close to everything but feels a world away from it all. It is very well maintained, and Julie and her family are very responsive to any requests. Again, we'll be back!

The cottage was very comfortable with all amenities, plus the location was perfect to explore the entire region. Some lovely walks nearby with beautiful birds and native wildlife. Hosts were friendly and communication was excellent.

The cottage was spot on, everything you need was there, the host was just lovely and very caring that our stay was enjoyed, the grounds of the property are so well cared for it is a credit to them, the cottage surrounded by tall gums with bird life all around made the area a very relaxing environment, so enjoyable

The accommodation is wonderful. The surrounds are very quiet and the cottage is equipped with everything you might need. The property is very well maintained and in addition to the usual linen and towels provided, the owner also provides extra towels and blankets (which were useful for the few days when the temperature dropped). The only draw back would be that the property is not as close to the beach as we would have liked, but we had a terrific stay.

My partner and I had the most wonderful 3 nights at this property recently. It far exceeded our expectations - the cottage was very well kept, cosy, exceptionally clean and peaceful. We mostly enjoyed breakfast out on the porch each morning while looking out across the beautiful, peaceful landscape full of wildlife and beauty. Muriel, Julie and the family were all extremely welcoming and most friendly. They really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! Location is also 10/10. We enjoyed exploring the many wineries and hiking spots close by as well as taking a 25 minute stroll to the main beach and bars through the boardwalk nearby! We only wish we'd stayed longer!I would highly recommend this property to anyone! We will most certainly be returning soon!

My partner and I had the most relaxing experience, beautiful surroundings and lots of privacy.

My husband and i had 3 days here and without our kids,it was really relaxing and the owners were very nice.I would go back again and the price is great,no where else was $300 for 2 nights with all breakfast provisions.Wasnt too far to drive anywhere, easy to find.I love penthouse syle places but for a change this was great and peacefull!!Very cute too and got a view.

My friend and I stayed here for the weekend 11/07/2015. We are both gluten intolerant and our hosts went to great lengths to provide us with suitable treats, along with wonderful breakfast we could cook up at our leisure. The cottage was lovely and set out very cosy and comfortably. We could sit back and relax in the warmth, on the couches although the one nearest the door sags a bit (I propped a towel under the cushions for a filler). Only drawback is accessing the cottage from the car...stairs to negotiate from the driveway with baggage! An unannounced visit from our hosts was nice although a pre warning by phone would have been preferred (just in case). We would stay again if visiting the Mornington region. Than k you so much for a wonderful stay.

Loved the position, secluded in a forest like area.Beautiful trees, birds aplenty, resident skink.Sitting on the raised deck, early morning sun, percolated coffee in hand, silence- just salvation of the soul.Would have loved to have had the time to spend many more days here.

Julie is the ultimate host and has such an attention to detail. She supplied the basics for breakfast with a partially stocked pantry. That was extremely thoughtful. Cosy cabin feel, birds chirping, and just enough bush surroundings to feel remote. Really great mix of country and beach for a serene getaway.

It was absolutely a comfortable stay. Very close to the beach. Loveeddddddd Marly their dog. And ofcourse the lovely family who was so kind in every way. We will definitely be back

For those like me who wanted to come and recharge their batteries, it could not have been more idyllic. Beautiful surroundings, gracious hosts who provided anything I needed, quiet and restful and good facilities close to a little shopping village. I coudn't have asked for anything more.

Fantastic hostess. The cottage was spotless and loaded with provisions when we arrived. Great clean spa. Beds perfect. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Will rent this property again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Mt Martha

Excellent cottage with everything you could want. Loved the bush setting but close to Mount Martha.

Everything worked, and everything was provided that we would provide ourselves, clearly a lot of thought had gone in to both the equipment and provisioning. Bed was firm'ish, but that's the way we like it. Carpet was starting to show signs of needing a clean in just a couple of places, but that's a _very_ small point. Mobile broadband was readily available (courtesy a 4G dongle provided) so maintaining net access was not an issue. And when we mislaid the key on our return in the late afternoon, the owners (Muriel) had no hesitation in giving us another. We would most definitely stay again if visiting Mt Martha. [Marley the dog was an added bonus.]
