Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss und ein Loft-Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss (Wendeltreppe). Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und einen Schieberegler zur Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Strand, den Puget Sound und die Berge. und ein neu renoviertes Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Queensize-Bett und das dritte Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten und ein Graco Pack and Play für Ihre Kleinen. Diese beiden Schlafzimmer haben einfachen Zugang zum Hauptbadezimmer mit einer Dusch- / Wannenkombination. Ein Dachboden über dem Aufenthaltsraum verfügt über vier Einzelbetten. Im Aufenthaltsraum befindet sich ein Badezimmer mit einer kleinen ebenerdigen Dusche.

Draußen haben wir einen Gasgrill und einen Kohlegrill für alle Ihre Grillwünsche! Unsere Küche hat alles, was Sie brauchen, um ein Gourmet-Menü zuzubereiten und zu servieren.

Das Haus hat viele Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Direkt neben der Küche steht ein großer Tisch, an dem zehn Personen bequem Platz haben. Es gibt auch einen kleineren Tisch in der Nähe der Schiebetür zum Wasserdeck, der Platz für sechs Personen bietet. Zusätzlich haben wir einen Hochstuhl und einen Jugendstuhl. Draußen haben wir einen Esstisch. Wir haben zwei Schwerelosigkeits-Liegestühle zum Sonnenbaden, Entspannen oder Nickerchen sowie einen Outdoor-Liebessitz mit zwei Stühlen und einem Couchtisch mit Gaskamin. Es gibt viele gemütliche Orte, an denen Sie essen, Kontakte knüpfen oder sich einfach zurücklehnen und die herrliche Aussicht genießen können.
Unser geräumiger Aufenthaltsraum verfügt über einen Billardtisch, eine Tischtennisplatte (steht auf dem Billardtisch) und einen Schrank voller Spiele, Rätsel, DVD-Filme, Malbücher und Buntstifte. Wir bieten auch einen Basketball, Tennisschläger mit Bällen, Frisbee, Spielautomat (kein Geld aus), Waschmaschine, Trockner, Staubsauger, ein Klappbett im Schrank und zusätzliche Lieferungen und Bettwäsche, falls erforderlich.
In der Garage gibt es ein Kajak für 2 Personen, Schwimmwesten, zusätzliches Propangas, S'more-Spieße und Strandutensilien.
Es gibt zwei familienfreundliche Gemeinschaftsparks, die zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Die erste ist neben unserem Haus. Es hat einen Spielbereich (sowie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Strand und die Berge.) Ein kurzer Spaziergang durch die Nachbarschaft führt Sie zu einem weiteren Park mit einem Basketballplatz, zwei Tennisplätzen und einem weiteren Spielbereich für Kinder.
Die nahe gelegenen Städte Langley und Bayview sind 15 bis 20 Autominuten von unserem Haus entfernt. May 2021You won’t find a lovelier property anywhere, but on the water on Whidbey’s south end, at this price, this is a rare treat.
We spent the most restful 4 nights here, and were sorry to leave a very comfortable, very clean and very organized home with absolutely every amenity. This fussy cook found wonderful cookware, serving pieces, utensils and multiple knives, all put to good use. There’s a coffee bar with a great coffee maker and several tea kettles. Double ovens, the fridge, microwave and dishwasher are all newer. Love how shelves and drawers are labeled so finding and returning items were a snap.
The beds were oh-so-comfy, with mattresses just firm enough and sheets and comforters soft enough. Towels galore, too, and bathrooms come stocked with the essentials. Who does that anymore?
The deck was replete with a covered large dining set, a bunch of comfy chairs, a fire pit with even more chairs and a fire table. We could have lived there.
I’m huge on enough living room furniture for 4 adults, and this home delivered, with 2 sofas and a leather chair with ottoman.
Then there’s the rec room, where we played pool and danced to the jukebox.
Without a doubt, this is one of the very best accommodations I’ve stayed in. We loved it so much, I’ve already booked it for next year.

Jul 2021Wonderful vacation home for our 3 generation family and shiatsu! The house was clean, comfortable, and extremely well stocked. The view is absolutely stunning! Birds, eagles, and blue herring showed up each morning to fish. Seals greeted us in the evenings and an owl showed up to wish us a bon voyage. Deer and bunnies on our neighborhood walks. Lots of beach coming and exploring at low tide. Tons of sand dollars and shells to be found. Playground next door. Absolutely perfect!!
The owner is an excellent communicator and very gracious. Thank you Mimi for sharing your home and for the delicious chocolates and coffee!!!!

Oct 2020What a spectacular place, from the house itself to the location. A stop at the grocery store and we were good to go. Would be perfect for a family Thanksgiving weekend. The dog was as in love we with it as we were. We plan to return.

Aug 2020We really enjoyed our stay at Mac’s landing. Really well organized home, everything you could ever possibly need is there. We had 3 adults, a twelve year old and two teenagers. We had anticipated putting the older teens in the loft so they would have space and privacy. I would say that a more accurate picture of the entrance and ceiling height there would have been good. It’s a bit low and difficult for full height adults to get into. It was fine and we made our arrangements work. It was the only little thing that was a bit odd about the house. My family loved the view and played pool quite a bit. Great time was had by all!

Mar 2021We loved this house and location. We've been in traveling around the Greater Seattle area for 5 weeks, spending a couple nights in different locations, and this was a highlight for us.
The house was beautiful, well maintained, very clean and tons of fun things for our family of 5 to do.
The kids enjoyed the pool table, firepit, clamming on the beach and the boardgames.
Hope to have the chance to stay again!

Owner was very responsive and as people who stay in many of these types of situations, we have been exposed to many degrees of goodness. This is one of the best. I almost hate to keep on going on about it because then it will be all booked up when we want to return

Oct 2020We had such a wonderful weekend. Home was super clean and cozy! Great floor plan for multiple families. They seriously thought of everything! Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom had everything you may have forgotten. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out to explore. We hope to come back very soon!

Oct 2019we had fun, loved the view, beach, weather was great! Everything was there for us. But in advertising the place, I would be specific about how difficult it is to get into the loft for people our age, were all 68 years of age, and there was no way any of us could sleep up there.

Feb 2021We had a wonderful stay at Mimi’s place. It was perfect for 6 adults and two toddlers - the play room was PERFECT for them! There was everything we could ever want and need; Mimi thought of it all. The best part was the view of the water and the front yard where our two little dogs could roam. We had a great weekend and we’re already talking about booking it again this summer! Thanks Mimi :)

Jan 2021We greatly enjoyed our Christmas holiday on the island. The views were beautiful and the property was perfect for our family dynamic. We were able to cook all meals and spend time together playing pool, watching TV, by the fire pit and walking the beach. The playground next door was a nice surprise as well. This property met all our needs for our first holiday getaway!

Aug 2019We absolutely loved this property. We were a big group of 4 adults and 6 kids and there was something for everyone. The house was impressively stocked with everything from toilet paper to beach toys and was very clean. We enjoyed kayaking, taking sunset walks and discovering sea life during low tide. The only thing to be aware of is that Clinton is a bit of a drive to the state parks and restaurants. We didn’t mind, but if you’re looking to be very close to those things, that would be something to consider. Overall, we had a blast and the house (as well as the owner) were fantastic and we would 100% stay again!

The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to prepare meals for our large family easily. We have made some wonderful memories here. So grateful for the opportunity to rent this home.

Dog friendly with the enclosed yard but right on the beach. Thank you for your hospitality - I think there is everything in the kitchen except for pie weights! LOL!!! 100 Star stay. May 2020This property was amazing! First, they allowed our pet. The property is very dog friendly with fenced yard and laminate flooring in main areas. We have a non-shedding dog, and appreciated being able to spend a week at this beach front property with our four kids and dog. There is everything you need! Appliances, misc cooking spices/oils/condiments (althougth we brought our own), plenty of towels, barware, comforts of home!! This is a home where the owners obviously spend a lot of time and are gracious to share with others without making it a sterile environment. We treated it as our own with respect. The location is hard to beat. RIGHT on the water, private (community center next doort that has public access, but no neighbors (they are blocked by vegetation). Listen to the waves lap on the rocks all night and morning, walk the HUGE tidal flats during low and minus tides (enjoying minus 2 tides was a bonus!). We used the kayak on the gentle waters and every night had smores and solved the world's problems around the gas fire pit (there is also a wood burning fire pit). Everything in the description of this house is accurate. Great for families! We LOVED our week watching the huge freighters in the shipping lane, bald eagles, cranes, seals, ducks ALL around, and spending time together. Thank you Mimi!
