Wohn-und Esszimmer in der vor dem Haus mit der Küche im Heck. sehr hohe Decken (12 Fuß) mit Parkettboden und Deckenventilatoren sowie zentrale A / C (eine Annehmlichkeit, die Jahre später hinzugefügt wurde. Dieses Haus wurde für modernen Lebens aktualisiert. Nur wenige Schritte vom Canal Straßenbahnlinie, so dass Sie die Innenstadt oder die Französisch Quarter in 15-20 Minuten. Sie können auch auf die St. übertragen Charles ave. Straßenbahn und Reise Uptown / Garten Landkreis oder Carrollton ave. Es gibt mehrere gute Restaurants zu Fuß ist Haltung des Hauses, das sehr praktisch ist. Apr 2017What a great experience to stay in a traditional New Orleans Shotgun house. This house is decorated so cute and the location couldn't be better. We walked to the corner and caught the streetcar to go downtown/French Quarter daily. Walked a half block to Katie's restaurant or a block to Liuzza's or a block in the other direction to Mandina's......all fabulous New Orleans local digs! Just Fantastiv

Jan 2022We thought the house was well suited for us, a queen and a full bed and we found a parking spot right on the street in front. We thought the streetcar was super convenient just a 1/2 blocks away and Katie's was just a few steps in the other direction. We had a great stay!

May 2022We stayed for jazzfest and were happy with the proximity to the fairgrounds and also the walkability to restaurants. We found it comfortable and accommodating.

Aug 2019This home is the quintessential New Orleans shotgun tastefully decorated with great care and the owner is most welcoming and generous! The neighborhood is close to the Canal streetcar and there are many restaurants to enjoy! This beautiful space is truly a place to immerse yourself into New Orleans while having the comforts of home!

May 2014The Trolley Stop was the perfect house for our stay during Jazz Fest. Very clean, easy to hop on the trolley, great breakfast spot down the street and we could walk to the fairgrounds. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to visit New Orleans looking for a quieter place to stay but still close to everything!

Nov 2018The Trolley Stop is the most warm and welcoming home in Mid-City New Orleans! Every room is filled with lovely details and iconic images of the city. It is located steps from the Canal Streetcar and the neighborhood has many restaurants. Stephen is an excellent host providing us with everything we could have needed to celebrate Thanksgiving. The kitchen and dining room include all of the trimmings for dining in with the conveniences to make you feel right at home. This is a beautiful and quiet space to rest after a day in the French Quarter! I would highly recommend staying here!

How ever once we contacted the owner he quickly sent the cleaning people over to clean. The double bed was more like a twin bed. And there really was not enough towels but thankfully some of us brought our own. The location was great we were right by the street car. We were also in walking distance of a wonderful restaurant called Katie’s. The next door neighbor was very friendly.

While nice, it is an older property, with some peeling paint and areas that could use updating. The wifi only works in the front part of the house, and the TV only receives a few channels. However, we had a good stay.

May 2022The place was just what we needed for the space, location, and value for money. Quick Uber to anywhere we needed to go and more than enough space for 3. This is not a pristine bed and breakfast, but more like staying at place your friend is letting you use. Not perfect, but clean and great for a stay.

No off street parking which can be a challenge if you bring a car. It is mostly due to a popular small restaurants, which is also what makes the place so convenient. Will consider staying again.

Nov 2018The Hop on the Streetcar home was ideal for our extended weekend in New Orleans. The location was perfect. Stephen had provided great information in advance of our stay so we knew that Thursday evening, our arrival, was perfect for a bit of Pizza at the neighboring restaurant Katie's. We sat at the bar and had a great time conversing with the bartenders and wait staff. The pizza was the best I have ever had and it fed two of us, with leftovers for the discount price of $12! We made breakfast and cooked dinner in the home the rest of the weekend, and only ate lunch out, making it a great bargain. It's a cute, quiet and safe neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed. It's just 1/2 block to the StreetCar stop - ideal for easy commutes. We definitely recommend the Hop on the Streetcar property!

May 2022Parking became an issue especially traveling with an infant and a stroller. Ran out of toilet paper, front door has a big gap even when closed and locked. Two adults woke up with some sort of bug bites on legs and arms. Linens need upgrading. Sorry wish I could be more positive.

Nov 2019MARIE AND I ARRIVED EARLIER THEN THE USUAL CHECKIN TIME OF 3 P.M I CALLED STEPHEN TO RECEIVE THE CODE AND WE WERE ABLE TO LEAVE OUR BAGS ON THE INSIDE WHILE HE CALLED THE CLEANUP CREW. THIS HELPED TRMENDOUSLY. THEY FINISHED WITHIN AND HOUR. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THE TELEVISION HAS AN ICREDIBLY WEAK SIGNAL AND YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE EACH TIME YOU WANT TO WATCH TV.

Apr 2018Great place to stay. The decorating was really nice with vibrant colors and artwork that reflected New Orleans. It managed to reflect the history of the building which is old (there were 4 awesome fireplaces), but still have all the modern amenities of today. Wonderful location, near the streetcar and so many good places nearby to eat. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, pots/pans, etc. There were only 2 of us, so we used 1 bedroom to sleep and the other to keep our clothes and other possessions. The neighborhood seemed very safe and friendly. We love New Orleans and would definitely stay here again.

May 2022Great location, quiet space. We had a few issues in the beginning and the owner was very responsive and fixed the problem ASAP. If you want a safe, quiet neighborhood next to the streetcar and close to restaurants this rental is in a great location.

Apr 2019Excellent location, so close to the streetcar/bus stop it was ridiculously easy to get around anywhere in the city. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental, and almost made us regret having dinner plans out for each our 3 nights.
The street itself was very quiet and we had nice, friendly neighbors.
The only down-side was the layout of the house itself since there is no hallway. Living room is in the front, kitchen is in the back. To get to the kitchen you need to walk through both of the bedrooms. Not a problem if your group is relaxed and can go with the flow, but could possibly be an issue if travelling with light-sleepers!
We will definitely keep this on our list of possible places to stay in the future, and would recommend it to any of our friends.

Nov 2019easy access, let us check in when wanted, cute new orleans charm. parking wasn’t to bad, was some street construction but once parked good. the places to eat on the corner like katie’s was great few others place as well. the trolly was easy to get use to and used that once there the whole time.
