Jul 2019We were delighted with the property. It was everything you advertised and more. The house was roomy and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and big enough for all the family members to move about easily. My family had a wonderful time at Hershey Park, riding the Strausburg train, bidding at the Amish auction, going to the Pretzel Factory and just hanging out at the house, swimming in the pool and watching the horses. True to your word we would hear the clip-clop of the Amish horses and buggies going by. The folks working at the farm were wonderful as well. One gentleman (Mr. Pork by name) noticed that we had a blanket spread everyday on the lawn overlooking the pool. My sister and I would sit with my husband who was recovering from a stroke and watch the kids swim. One day much to our delight he showed up with a bench to sit on. It was truly an amazing trip and a wonderful family reunion. The Zieger, Dominek and Tipping families.

Dec 2021We spent a weekend there with family. Our daughter was getting married at a near by venue. It was perfect !! Close to the venue and all our near by activities. Would highly recommend this property. Was filled with all the amenities including homemade cookies on arrival. Could not have happier with our choice. Thank you for everything Robin Hartman

Feb 2022We really enjoyed staying at this farm house. The house is spacious with well appointed rooms and kitchen. Due to storm the power went out for 2 hours but the owners came right away and started the generator and ensured we were comfortable. We would love to come back on the summertime

Aug 2018We really enjoyed staying at the Stone Home at Shallowbrook Farm. The house and setting are even more beautiful than the pictures. It's peaceful and relaxing. A great place to enjoy family. The kitchen is really nice and well stocked. It was big enough for our family of 12 to gather in. At night we really enjoyed the screened in porch for playing games at the picnic table. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool so much that we only went exploring a few days. We would definitely return again and again.

Nov 2019We loved staying at this gorgeous New Providence home. This is a beautiful home with comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and the kids loves playing on the Xbox downstairs. We were welcomed with fresh cookies and the owner kept in great communication with me. The surroundings are so tranquil and this was a perfect retreat for our whole family. We visited with the horses, took lovely walks and visited some nearby Amish farms and did fun Amish activities. The house is very large with multiple areas to rest in and around the house, so our group of 8 had plenty of room to spread out. Overall I highly recommend this property!

Mar 2021We had a wonderful time at this home. We were meeting up with family friends for a safe COVID retreat. We stayed on property the entire stay and cooked all our meals. We found the property ideal as our kids were never bored looking at the animals and the river. Wanda was very responsive to all my questions and the home was perfectly clean. My only advice to future guests is that all the beds except the two twins are very high up. The two children in the twin beds were fine but we had one child in the Queen bed and it was disconcertingly high. Not a problem for adults but something to be aware of for young children. Overall we had a great stay and were sad to leave,

Nov 2022We had a wonderful sister weekend getaway. The house is lovely and very clean with more than enough room for everyone. The grounds are stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The view of the horses and the cutest goats really made the trip. I would highly recommend this property.

The host was super responsive to any questions we had, and the property was exactly how it was described. Nov 2020We had a lovely weekend with our adult children and their families. This home was the middle point between our homes. Our young grandchildren had a wonderful time running across the large yard, swinging on the swings, and making s’mores- things they are unable to do at home in these COVID times. They even had a little Halloween parade and we hid candy on the back porch to celebrate Halloween.
The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the room to spread out into smaller groups, and the fire was ready to light on the chilly evenings. Having never been to the area, we are excited to visit in warmer weather and explore the area- and also to use the pool!

Apr 2021We had a great week at this house. It was comfortable, clean, and spacious. We went on nearby hikes, walked around the farm, and had everything we needed in the house to prepare our meals. We had six children and four adults and never felt crowded. Loved being able to roast marshmallows at the fire pit!

Dec 2019We had a beautiful time at this property. The owners take immaculate care of this home. We were greeted by cookies and a personalized message on the kitchen chalk board. Every detail was taken care of from kindling in the fireplaces to a fully stocked kitchen and detail instructions on using the appliances. We felt welcomed and enjoyed the serenity of the landscape and the lovely decor of the home.

May 2021We came here for my cousin’s wedding which was just a short juant south of here at Tucquan Park. This property was just we needed. Very relaxing! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the birds singing a watching the squirrels playing in the trees and yard. Made me feel right at home hearing the horses in the pasture as I have several horses at home. Sunsets were beautiful looking over the creek.Spending time with family I haven’t seen in years was priceless, many memories made this weekend ❤️

Sep 2020This property was better in person, it felt like home away from home. The comfort and the style is unique and lovely. The outdoors had it all and allowed us as a family to have a good time. We wanted to disconnect from the city after all the quarantine situation and that exactly what we did here. I am so happy I found this house and will definitely be coming back with my family. We were all very pleased here and enjoyed our stay the views, the space, the horses everything was great!

Oct 2022This property is one of a kind. It is a beautiful old stone home, well maintained, with lots of amenities. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and up to date. The property is located on a horse farm so we were able to talk to the horses. There were walking paths with goats and they were a delight. With a pool, fire pit area, and several outdoor seating areas with picnic tables, this is the ideal place for family or friends to gather. The owner was a delight to communicate with and everything was in order when we arrived. I highly recommend this property any time of the year, but especially when the pool is open. Lots of beautiful country side and great little places to visit. Travel to Lititz for coffee and shopping - a great little town.

Aug 2022This is our second year staying at this property, and it continues to exceed expectations. The home is beautiful, the kitchen large and well-equipped, and the pool area(where we spent most of our time), perfect. The house is close enough to everything in the area (Lancaster, Strasburg, etc.), but still feels like you are on your own private farm. Wanda and Lyndsay are great hosts, easy to communicate with, and always accessible if you need anything.

Mar 2019This is a beautiful property with everything you might ever want and need. It is tastefully decorated enhancing the very old part of the home and immaculate in and out. The kitchen was very modern and made meal preparation very easy. The bonus to the kitchen was that there were so many surfaces to use for measurement and cutting. We were lucky to have a very warm couple of days which made use of the screened in porch (which we all wish we could duplicate) possible.
Wanda and Lyndsay were prompt in all correspondence and easy to contact.
We loved it and would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home.

The only issue we ran into with this house was that we didn’t know we would have to bring our own towels and sheets to avoid an additional charge until after we paid for the house so make sure you bring your own towels and bedsheets ($20 per room). These are not listed in the description and we were surprised to find out that they were an additional fee. Normally linens are on the beds and towels are included. It wasn’t an issue for us, just wished we would of known that before we purchased the house due to 7 of us splitting the cost between us. We would of preferred to know that upfront before renting it. Other than that, everything was absolutely amazing, we would go back and stay that this house. It was Gorgeous!

Nov 2022This home exceeded my expectations. The location was centrally located to all attractions in the Lancaster area. The horse farm was gorgeous and seeing the horses in the morning with a cup of coffee a great addition to the day. I will definitely be back with grandkids.

The grandkids (and their parents) loved the pool and were in it for hours almost every day. Taking the back roads to get to area attractions was a highlight. The house was perfect for our group, especially having a master bedroom for grandparents and a second for the parents. Communication with the owners was great! We’ll be back!
