Dec 2021We had 3 generations of our family staying from age 4 to 72. The house was perfect - with multiple different spaces, both inside and out - to accommodate our various needs. The house is brilliantly located at the end of a dead end street and a short walk to the river and a patrolled beach. Even if its wet the house is very spacious and comfortable with several outdoor covered verandahs. Highly recommended

Mar 2022This was our second trip to Bayside - the first was great but this time it felt like no one had been here since the last time we came. The downstairs bath was dusty and had collected a small pile of dead moths, there was water damage in one of the bedrooms and drip marks down the wall, yellow stains all over the mattress protectors, empty soap dispensers in the bathroom, no tea towels, no dish washing brushes or cloths. There's a passive aggressive sign in the kitchen about cleaning up after yourself but it's hard to take it seriously when you haven't been given the tools to actually clean up. A bit more attention to detail would help do this little gem justice.

Jan 2022The property is large and has pretty much all you could want for a family getaway. Plenty of space, walking distance to the beach and great cafes, and all the amenities needed. Great space on the verandahs, lots of lounge space inside, good beds and a quiet, safe location.

Nov 2022The property is in an excellent position, beach ,walking, riding, fishing, cafes, club everything you need for a perfect stay.

Feb 2022The location of the house was great, not too far from North Haven Beach. However, the actual house was not too good with a moist/humid downstairs area even with AC. The upstairs master bedroom shower was clogged with hair on the day of arrival. Locks on some of the rooms didn't work including the downstairs bathroom. On the plus side, there is a ping pong table to distract you from all that :)

Jan 2020The location and general state of the property are great, but we took issue with the state of the bedding and pillows upon arrival. The pillows, doonas and mattress covers on the beds were in such a state it was obvious they had not been washed or changed in some time. They were not appropriate for us or our children. Even though it was a Saturday, Simon came to the house to inspect the bedding and was very responsive to our problems. Additionally, he drove the 30+ minutes to Port Macquarie and back on a Sunday to provide us with a remote control for the downstairs TV and also checked the BBQ which we could not get to work effectively. On Monday, both Simon and Carly visited to ensure that things were up to standard and were again very responsive to our concerns. Thank you to you both for going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Nov 2019Organising was easy, real estate staff were very friendly.
Location was close to beach, shops and park for kids. House could do with a bit of a spring clean, bathrooms were good though. Plenty of rooms to sleep. Overall had a great stay.

Sep 2019It will not sleep 10 people as advertised unless you have 3 couples and 4 singles. dishwasher partially works, no toilet paper on arrival, exterior needs a good clean as did the external entertaining areas and fridge smelt all our stay of sour milk.
probably the first letting after winter.

Jan 2019Great space to either find a quiet spot for some “me” time or use one of the two big balconies and tables to entertain a group. We had everything we needed!

Jun 2021Although we were using the home as a base to attend a funeral of a family member, the home was a wonderful surprise. All whom attended loved the place and we will remember this for when we visit for a happier occasion

Jan 2020Although the listing says you need to bring linen, and you can hire from Camden Haven Laundromat you will still need to bring tea towels. Whilst it would be helpful to have a starter pack of toilet paper, dishwashing and laundry liquid/powder, dishcloth and coffee pods the supermarket isn't far away in Laurieton (Coles) and Lakewood (Woolworths).Once the 2 x air conditioning units get going, they are adequately effective although the house could use an airing prior to arrival.The driveway was inaccessible to our 4WD and boat on trailer due to overhanging vegetation but did create a lush, protected feel. The online photos must be from a while ago because the garden has grown significantly since.There was an ant infestation throughout the master bedroom, ensuite bathroom and kitchen at the time of our stay - dropping from the ceiling onto us and arriving in droves if we accidentally left a crumb on the kitchen bench for 20min. This was raised with Carly at departure, and we were assured she would action immediately.Additionally, the garbage bins could use a clean - even after Wednesday's emptying, they continued to smell putrid from the driveway (and could be smelt on the verandah) and were jumping with maggots again by Monday.Whilst pets are not allowed, there was evidence++ of dogs by way of pet beds in the garage and the master bedroom rug being full of white dog hair that ended up on anything it came in contact with.The house could use a thorough clean under/behind lounges and beds.The beds were particularly comfortable.With a family of 8 we made regular use of the dishwasher, washing machine, clothes drier, clothes line/airer, Nespresso coffee machine, fantastic bbq and well equipped kitchen.We loved the convenience to the boat ramp, river, beach and North Haven centre - all walking distance.
