We stayed here for 3 nights and had such a great time. The house is obviously a well-loved family shack and it's comfortable and very clean. It's in a quiet area and only a very short walk to the beach. We were able to bring our little dog which was a great bonus. Communication was great and friendly. Also really liked that all instructions in the house were clear (which makes things easier). Definitely stay again.

Wonderful property, what a gem!

We really enjoyed our stay at this relaxed comfortable property that is great for the whole family. The back yard is really big, beautifully kept, with a great bbq. The beds and furniture are all really comfortable and the mod cons appreciated in amongst the fabulous retro decor. I loved reading the old mags while the kids played Pacman. Aldinga is one of our favourite places to holiday and we're really happy to have found this place. Thank you for having us!

Character house close to beach access with a large open backyard.

We had a wonderful few days at the retro shack. Easy access to the beach for us and the dogs. The house was clean with all you could need along with a trip down memory lane.

We had a really great time at the Retro Shack with our daughter and her family. The beach just minutes away and a good sized yard for the littlies and the dog! A good variety of eating venues nearby.The accommodation has everything you would need including books, puzzles, games and an arcade machine. If you’re interested in retro memorabilia there is plenty to enjoy.Very homey so we have booked to stay for a week next time.

Retro Shack

This shack is fantastic, very 50s, lots of memoribilia, very clean and tidy. They cater for everything, if you have forgotten something you'll find it provided. Amazing, loved it.

the property was as described; very clean; and well located just one house from the Esplanade. We particularly liked the very lovely large backyard, which our dog also appreciated, and all the entertainment options including the large screen TVs and Wi-Fi. We would stay there again, given the opportunity.

A beautiful spot for a seaside getaway

The property is located ideally for a seaside getaway. It has everything you need to feel comfortable for all the family including your fur babies. Lovely and quiet area with everything near by. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a safe and enjoyable getaway.

Terrific retro beach house, my sister and myself spent a lot of time reminiscing over which aunt had the same items when we were children. Dogs loved their stay, very safe, well fenced backyard. 100% recommend

Great for the family and furbabies!

So much to offer for a family or couples stay. Great backyard and 50 metres to spectacular views and beachwalks. The decor is worth the visit, as is the arcade machine and the modern conveniences you expect.

Cool, quirky and comfortable

So much lovely stuff in this house, especially the old magazines! It's cozy and the air conds do a great job but remember to bring slippers as the bathroom is very cold. It's wonderfully located close to the beach and a good walk to the shopping centre. Will definitely stay here again.

Neat, tidy & comfortable

Really did feel like a step back in time. There is also enough modern features to be comfortable without losing the retro feel. We only stayed a few days however would love to have been able to stay longer.

Everything you need and more.

Our first Stayz experience.WE had our dog with us. Yard was secure. Retro Shack had everything you could possibly need.The only problem we had was that we only had 4 days. We will be back.

Great Family friendly rental

Our family had a blast the shack had everything and more that you could possibly want or need, our 2 pugs were very happy with their stay also a beautiful secure pet and child friendly yard and property I would recommend this place to anyone, we can't wait to return, very clean and stacks to do.

Loved our stay at the Retro Shack. Great base while touring around The Vale. Being extra pet friendly is a big plus, massive secure yard for the pooches. The classic arcade game was addictive, will be back to try to beat my top scores!

So very cool!

Loved my stay at the ReTrO Beach Shack. The furniture & memorabilia were awesome- it was like stepping back in time... Especially loved the old school Womens Day magazines! Excellent positioning to the beach, cafè's & shopping. Clean, comfy & with a heap of extras- which came in very handy; nespresso machine, boogie boards, sun lounge, dvd's, board games & lots of brochures & info on all the surrounding attractions. Great backyard too. Loved it. Will be back again soon!
