Die Veranda in Clunes ist ein neues, architektonisch gestaltetes Haus auf einem Hügel mit der besten Aussicht, die das historische Clunes bieten kann. Das Design ist im australischen Landhausstil gehalten, wobei die Veranda das ganze Haus umgibt und bei jedem Wetter genügend Platz für Mahlzeiten und Unterhaltung im Freien bietet.
Das Haus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 mit Queensize-Betten und eines mit zwei Einzelbetten. Alle Schlafzimmer öffnen sich zur Veranda mit verglasten französischen Türen. Die riesige Küche im Landhausstil verfügt über einen offenen Kamin und ist komplett ausgestattet, einschließlich eines Fernsehers mit Netflix und der wichtigen Kaffeemaschine!
Eine separate und intime Studie hat auch ein offenes Feuer und einen Fernseher sowie alle Bücher, die Sie hoffentlich lesen können.
Es gibt 2 Badezimmer, eine Wäscherei und eine begehbare Speisekammer.
Das Haus verfügt über Zentralheizung und -kühlung sowie Deckenventilatoren für die Sommermonate.
Haustiere sind willkommen, aber bitte nicht auf den Möbeln, und beachten Sie, dass das Grundstück nicht eingezäunt ist.
Es gibt eine Bus- und Bahnverbindung von Ballarat nach Clunes, aber Reisen mit dem Auto ist der einfachste und schnellste Weg, um nach Clunes zu gelangen.
Die besten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Fraser Street sind 10 Gehminuten oder 1 Autominute entfernt. Die Fraser Street ist die wunderschöne Hauptstraße, die aufgrund ihres makellosen Zustands seit den berauschenden Tagen des Goldrauschs in der letzten Hälfte des 19. Feb 2022Wonderful home overlooking Clunes with beautiful big proportioned rooms and hallways and a wrap-around verandah with places to soak up the serenity at any time of day. The house contained everything we needed and the Clunes community is warm and welcoming.

Jan 2021What a beautiful home. Surrounded by creative design, stunning to look at, yet practical in form. Everything is provided and is well thought of to give you such a restful and relaxed experience.
We feel very blessed to have spent four nights here and highly recommend to others.

Jul 2021We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property.The house is very comfortable and we loved having two fires places. The eclectic decoration was great and gave us a number of ideas for our own home!The property was equipped with everything required for a four day stay. There was even some local honey which was super tasty.The location was good and very peaceful. The poor weather meant we could not enjoy the outside verandah but in the warmer months it would be a great spot to eat or enjoy a drink whilst looking out over the scenery.If we are back in the area we would certainly stay here again.

The location was good and very peaceful.
The poor weather meant we could not enjoy the outside verandah but in the warmer months it would be a great spot to eat or enjoy a drink whilst looking out over the scenery.
If we are back in the area we would certainly stay here again.

Mar 2019We only stayed 2 nights however felt immediately at home as did our 5 year old Australian Shepherd. This is an amazing property and we would not stay anywhere else next time we come to Clunes.

Jan 2021We loved our stay. The house is beautiful and all the artwork made it so special. The location is fantastic, quite with glorious views. Only minor downsides were a bit of dog hair in carpets etc, plus for the price I would have expected some fresh breakfast supplies rather than 'help yourself to anything in the pantry/fridge" which was full of open packets/jars/bottles of stuff that looked like it was left by previous guests. Having said that, we did love the house and would happily return again :)

Sep 2022We had a lovely weekend here. Excellent value. The house is beautifully decorated with paintings/ murals and beautiful textiles. The 3 bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms are clean and modern and kitchen well appointed. We loved the open fireplace in the kitchen. The wide verandah is beautiful but unfortunately it was too cold for us to spend too much time out there- enjoying the amazing view down to the town. It would be wonderful to sit out there on a summers day. Highly recommended and Hopefully we'll be back soon.

May 2022We had a fabulous stay at this well appointed warm house. The views are beautiful and the neighbourhood is quiet and an easy stroll to town. Thoroughly recommend a stay here, our only issue was as people who sew the lighting isn’t ideal.

Jul 2020Topping a hill with a commanding view of Clunes, The Verandah is such a delightful property. Massive rooms, avante garde art, huge combined kitchen, with dining table and open fireplace. We absolutely loved it here. This will be on the top of our list for our next country visit.

Jan 2019This was a delightful weekend at one of the most beautiful houses in Clunes. The owner’s artwork adorns many of the walls, the beds were so comfortable and everything we could possibly need was provided. The views from the property were spectacular and the village of Clunes is a delight. We will definitely visit again!

Jul 2021This house is so beautiful. The art work is amazing. Very cozy with the open fireplaces and central heating which kept everything so warm. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Everything you need is supplied. Such a relaxing stay, we would definitely recommend it to other families. We hope to visit again one day!

Jan 2020This house has a wonderful view over the town of Clunes It is very spacious and with a veranda all the way around it meant one could always find a sunny or shady spot to sit and relax ! The property is dog friendly, although not fenced but was fine for our dogs who just like to be close to their owners!

May 2022The house is wonderful. It is extremely comfortable and the styling is amazing and interesting. It has everything you need (and more). We were a group of 3 couples staying for two nights on the weekend but I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back.

We felt very welcome and every comfort was catered for. Sarah responded promptly to my queries and check in was simple. We were loathe to leave such a lovely place and hope to return soon. The fact that we were able to take our dog along too was the icing on the cake!

The house is stunning and has really lovely views off of the back of the property.Our days started out sitting by the fireplace in the kitchen with a cup of coffee and finished in the same spot in the evening with a glass of wine, so cozy! Loved the covered deck that wrapped around the entire house, so many good spots to sit outside and take in the scenery.The kitchen is really well stocked, as is the rest of the house. Also worth noting that we found the house great for kids as it's single story, has wood floors (easy cleanup), and has lots of space.The rooms and beds were really comfortable, and even though it was very cold in Clunes over the weekend we were nice and toasty inside.Right around the corner from the charming Fraser Street in Clunes with some great shops which we really enjoyed seeing.Definitely recommend this house for a relaxing weekend away or a catchup with family and friends. Sarah is so lovely and was such a pleasure to deal with, thanks so much for letting us stay at your amazing house. Can't wait to come again in the summer!

Oct 2017On entering the driveway to The Verandah, I was aware this place was extra Special. The impressive Verandah that runs all around the house is so Grand. On entering the front door it was an endless assault on all the senses.The design and creativity stunning with endless beautiful treasures everywhere. The views divine and mesmerizing. We didn't want to leave. The Verandha is an Exquisite home that has been created with an abundance of love, radiates joy and is overflowing with soul. The open fireplaces only added to the serenity. We so look forward to return. Heartfelt thanks to Sarah for sharing your delightful place. Sarah was wonderful showing us around and couldn't have been more helpful.
