Drei Glasschiebetüren öffnen sich zu einem großen privaten nach Süden ausgerichteten Deck, das eine Treppe zum aufregenden Rooftop Widow's Walk Deck hat, das großartig ist, um Sonnenuntergänge und Sterne zu beobachten. Die Küche ist komplett mit Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle und zehn Meter Ablagefläche ausgestattet. TV-Raum / Höhle umfasst einen großen Flachbildschirm, im ersten Stock hat vier Schlafzimmer und 1 Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss. Master BR w / Queen-Size-Bett und eigenem Bad, ein weiteres mit einem Queen-Size-Bett und zwei Schlafzimmer mit großen Betten, die ein zusätzliches Vollbad teilen. Auf der zweiten Etage haben wir ein kleines Zimmer mit zwei kleineren Einzelbetten für kleine Kinder. Unsere Höhle hat eine Tür und wir haben auch eine neue Ausziehschlafcouch. Jul 2016We shared the house with another family and felt there was plenty of room for us all to be comfortable. It is well located, right off bike path, near Katama Airport and South Beach. We look forward to renting it again.

Jul 2015We have rented this house for quite a few years and always enjoy coming back. The open living space is great for a family of 4-6. It features two great decks and is well maintained. It is everything you would want to experience a nice vacation. Mike and Brenda are a pleasure to deal with and make improve to every year. It's the little details that they pay attention to that separate it from other rentals.

Jul 2017Was surprised but needing to take a dirt road but found a better route. The walk to south beach was perfect exercise. Home owner was very easy to work with. Much more relaxed than other home owners on the island I've dealt with. Hope to stay again another time.

Oct 2020This is a great house! The location was less than a mile from South Beach, in a private setting, a short drive to Edgartown's Historic District, easy access to all the Island had to offer. The house was very clean, had everything we needed, plenty of space and a nice layout. The roof top deck was an added bonus, amazing outdoor space at the tree tops, sunset views! Mike the host is friendly, professional and accessible. Looking forward to our next visit!

Oct 2016This house gives a nice appearance when you walk in. Four nice bedrooms with two full baths downstairs, and a laundry room. Upstairs is very airy and open. A den has a foldout couch, which was reported to be comfortable. It is close to Katama Airport, which has one of the best breakfast places around, and it is only .2 miles away. Loved the outdoor decks. Sunbathed one day and waved to the pilots as they fly overhead. The only problem is the "5th bedroom." It shows two twin beds. NOT! They are actually wood storage cabinets with a 3" foam cushion. We used this house as a girls' weekend. With six of us, we figured we would all get our own room. I drew the twin beds. The "bed" in the tiny closet of a room was not comfortable at all! I personally would not even put a kid on these worn out cushions. I ended up sleeping on the couch two nights, which was minimally more comfortable as a bed. So, location to the Airport, Edgartown -- great. House, very nice. If you are an adult, or care about your children, do not use the "kid's room." Neither of them were the size of a twin bed, and they were definitely NOT comfortable! I would recommend this house if you only needed four bedrooms and a den that you could convert to a bedroom if needed.

Love the roof top deck that i called the birds nest. From the top were excellent views both day & night. Secluded. 20 minutes to anywhere. Highly recommended!

Love the roof top deck that i called the birds nest. From the top were excellent views both day & night. Secluded. 20 minutes to anywhere. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and the house was well-suited for our group of four adults (everyone had his or her own bedroom) and the layout was great for shared spaces for socializing or quiet places for work or relaxing. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and we had a wonderful time. We didn’t use the bikes that were there because our trip was so short, but they would be very convenient to get around or bike to the beach. A perfect way to start the summer.

Aug 2022The property was clean when we checked in and has everything that you need. The rooms are a great size and there’s plenty of bathrooms for a large group. We enjoyed being out on the deck and the rooftop deck was beautiful at night. There’s a telescope so we did some star gazing. There are ACs in every bedroom which keep the sleeping areas cool. The owner was always easy to get in contact with and was knowledgeable of the island and very friendly.

May 2019The place was just as advertised and was great! Mike made the trip and stay so easy! It was very helpful that he checked in a few times prior to our stay.
I brought kids, friends, parents and a dog and we had plenty of room! The house is well stocked - from soaps, detergents to new beach chairs! Also, everything worked - the grill, lights, stove etc. great location near south beach

Aug 2018The location and size of this home is wonderful but it needs a little TLC. The kitchen is old and every time you opened the dishwasher the front panel fell off. There are a lot of cabinets but they are full of so many unnecessary items. No ac adds to a very humid sticky feeling. The whole house needed a good scrubbing. The bathrooms had mold in the corner The outdoor space is also wonderful and my grandchildren had plenty of space to run around after we came home from the beach. The location is perfect and they all enjoyed riding their bikes to the beach and the adults also rode their bikes to Edgartown in the evening. With a little care this could be a perfect home but we all felt a little uncomfortable.

Oct 2018My friends and I were here for the MV Food and Wine Festival in October, and needed a home in Edgartown with plenty of bedrooms. Mike's house near South Beach was the perfect fit. The bedrooms are on the ground level, and the living space is upstairs, with lots of windows, so it was full of sunshine. It was a bit chilly to hang out on the roof deck, but we did anyway and enjoyed watching the sun set. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and every room was super clean and nicely decorated. Not a single complaint from any of us! The house is on a dirt road, at the end of which is the bike path to South Beach, approximately a mile. Edgartown proper is only a few minutes drive. This house is quite suitable for large families, or, as in our case, a group of friends. I texted Mike to inquire about the wifi code (he had it posted, but I missed it), and he replied within minutes. Excellent communication. Since the Food and Wine Festival is an annual event, we'd like to come back here and make it a tradition! Thank you, Mike!

Jun 2018My family visit the island for 23 yrs now this year we tried a new home owner to rent from. The pictures say a lot but after a week at Mike's place we are already planning for next year. The home was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

Jun 2018Mike's home is the best rental we have had in over 20 years. There are multiple places for group activities or some quiet time with tv or a book. The roof top deck is a treat. Sunsets and sunbathing were terrific.

Oct 2022House was perfect for our family. Lots of space for four adults and two little ones. The children really enjoyed having their own special room with 'kid-sized' beds and the roof deck was an especially big hit with both the adults and kids. The house is in a great location near South Beach and the bike path.

Jun 2018Great stay at Mike's house in Katama. Location is perfect. The house is well kept and spacious, and the rooftop deck is amazing anytime, especially on clear nights. The owner is very responsive and answers any question you might have. Also Mike provides a ton of information on the area to help with your stay. Would love to rent this house again.

I’d suggest a teapot and some additional cookware especially during Covid stays when people are avoiding restaurants. The beach is a mile away and super easy to get to. The road to the house has major potholes so don’t bring a sports car! We were glad to have our Jeep Gladiator!!
