Apr 2022Would absolutely stay here again, the house has a very homely feel as soon as you walk through the door. Clean, spacious, quite neighbourhood, beautiful views from the balcony and plenty of activities to do for kids and adults alike, 8ball, table tennis, bike ride as well as being only a few streets from the beach and short drive to the Main Street.Thank you Christine and Ross for allowing us to stay and for the little goodies, we will definitely be back.

Jan 2022Wonderfully situated, easy to find and spacious. There is something for everyone here. My teens had a ball with a room for each and the pool table was a big hit. Highly recommend!

Mar 2021We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home. The host was very prompt with replies and ensured we felt comfortable and welcome in every way. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived as there were many goodies left in the fridge and pantry for us.

Oct 2022We just stayed 5 nights with 4 teenagers and 2 adults. We all loved the pool table, table tennis table, dart board and bikes. They also had boardgames cards and wifi. It was great being able to take our dog too. The house was a bit rustic but clean. Kitchen has been upgraded. When we arrived we found the owners had supplied us with bread, milk, butter, orange juice and chocolates. The bathroomshad fresh boxes dove soap which was a nice touch.We texted the owner with a question furing our stay and she rang straight away. We all loved our stay, would recommend staying there, especially with kids.Thank you.

Dec 2017We had a wonderful family Xmas here. Property was so well equipped for Xmas lunch. Had my elderly parents stay with us so they used the upstairs bedroom with easy access to the upstairs bathroom and kitchen area with A/C. Children had downstairs bedrooms and bathroom and games room. Our four legged fur baby enjoyed the spacious well enclosed back yard. The property hosts Chris and Ross were very welcoming and the property was so well equipped- would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Bikes were available to use which we did the ride to Middleton and back twice, beach is a short stroll away and table tennis and pool tables were fun for everyone from my 85 year old father to my 18 yo daughter. We stayed 5nights

Feb 2019We had another fabulous holiday in this home with our teen and young adult offspring, their friends and our golden retriever fur-child. The home is spacious, with down-stairs suite, a game's room the young ones loved, lovely views from the balcony with outdoor dining option and a hammock that encourages lots of lolling about with books. We love the homely feel, the nice touches and the very responsive hosts (thanks for posting the t-shirt we left behind, Chris!) We'll be back.

Jan 2019We had an amazing time in Goolwa. The house is large, well equipped and comfortable. It the perfect beach house that allows you to relax probably because it’s an older house, well lived and loved. The beds are comfortable and the house very clean. Beautiful view with huge balcony all around the house. We loved spending time at the bar while playing pool!
The bathroom downstairs has a strange layout and I was a bit worried about my parents tripping over but they managed well and got themselves sorted. Upstairs really invites to rest after having a great swim at the beach. Having the leash free beach only 8 minutes walking distance away was awesome! Our dog loved chasing the seagulls and playing with other dogs.
Chris was beautiful, readily available and very accommodating! Thank you for an amazing week away!

Feb 2022We are regular returnees to this wonderful house. Always clean, welcoming, fabulous hosts and once again we have relaxed and recharged ready for the year to come. Bonus this year was internet access so I had no excuse for not continuing with yoga class online.

Feb 2021The property was tidy, communication was prompt. Disappointing that rust was coming out of the shower so could only use 1 bathroom. Other than that our family enjoyed our getaway.

The communication between the owners and us was great.
It was just fantastic to sit back and take in the views. Having our other family member (dog) with us was a must. The property has a safe secure yard, we had no concerns in leaving the pooch there when we went into town.
The Goolwa mobile phone coverage is not really the best, making calls was fine however streaming anything is difficult next to impossible. I was happy with it but teenagers have a different view.

Nov 2020Really enjoyed our time here. Communications with owner beforehand was best we've had. Accommodation was comfortable and had all we needed. Only disappointment was having to cut our stay short to beat the COVID lock down. We will definitely look to returning and recommend to our friends.

Pool table and bikes are an extra bonus as well as little extra touches made by the property managers. There are a lot of stairs which may not suit older people or very young children.

Jul 2020Location is great - tucked away on a quiet street within easy walking distance of beach or the encounter bikeway. Probably not suited to young children due to steep stairs but pool room made it the perfect escape with teenagers.

Feb 2022Its a great place to stay. Bedrooms on each level, bathrooms on each level, great little poolroom, nice quiet street, decent backyard for the dog to run around. Just a nice location to stay, great and reasonable price. Not to much of a drive to the local beaches and surrounds. I didnt go for a bike ride but would have liked to and found a bike or two that wasnt a bad fit for me. The bikes were in reasonable condition for a nice coastal ride - we ran out of time and were to busy catching the waves. Enjoyed our stay.
