Jan 2020We spent a week at this property over the New Year holiday. The house was perfect for our six person family. There was plenty of room and amenities to make the stay comfortable. I would give communication with the owner six stars if I could; he was quick to respond when we had questions prior to booking and with one small issue upon arrival. Great location near the beach. Our kids went from beach to pool and back again. A great way to spend a week. Thank you!

Sep 2019We really enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful, very clean, and is accurately portrayed in the pictures shown online. Check-in and check out could not have been easier. Alan also called us after the first day just to check in and make sure everything was going well. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Marco Island and would highly recommend!

Jul 2020We loved this house so much last summer we had to come back! We love the pool and how it is so clean and organized, with attention to every detail a vacationer may need or want. We also really like that there were 3 high quality TVs since we stayed at the house a little more this time. Each of the boys had his own TV to entertain. We even had an old friend visit that lives in the area and she agreed how great this house was. We hope to come back again!

Jun 2021We loved the home! It is exactly as pictured. Clean, great pool, great floor plan and wonderfully equipped. We made great use of the available pool toys, beach wagon and toys, umbrellas, beach chairs and more! We would love to return.

Mar 2022We just returned from a weeklong stay at Rufina and we loved every minute of it it. We were literally 6 minutes from the front door to our feet in the sand of the most beautiful beach. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. I really appreciated all of the extra towels and also all of the items that are on hand to make your vacation perfect. Everything is so organized and clearly labeled. They even had great beach bags to use! While we ate every dinner out, the kitchen is so well stocked that there isn’t anything they don’t have should you want to cook while there. The pool area is great, with super comfortable seating and comfy lounge chairs. I love a good, thick cushion and they didn’t disappoint! The neighborhood is very quiet and lovely. While we didn’t have a chance to take advantage of them, there were bikes that you can use as well. Finally, Alan is the epitome of a great host. He called while we were en route from the airport to the house to make sure we didn’t have any questions and also checked in during the week. The communication was great. We already rebooked for next year and look forward to coming back.

The house has a beautiful pool, spacious lanai and was appointed with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The owners provide great information and are a pleasure to communicate with. Would definitely reccommend.

Nov 2022We had a fantastic week in Marco Island at this home! Our group likes to cook every night and the kitchen was well appointed. The rest of the home was well supplied as well...just pay it forward and restock if you are the last one to use it up. We ate outside by the pool each evening, explored the Everglades, biked around Marco Island and visited Naples one day. The spacious beach is a short walk from this home. They had a convenient beach cart in the garage which we used every day to haul chairs and bags to the beach. Will definitely return to this home the next time we are in southwestern FL.

Mar 2021We had a fantastic stay at this home. The home layout is excellent, very clean and well maintained; the kitchen is very well supplied; but the best part is the amazing pool area with the lounge chairs!
The home comes with bikes and beach chairs which is a great plus.
The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach.
The owner is great to work with. He is a great communicator.
5 stars all the way.

Apr 2022We are a family that prefers renting houses versus staying at hotels. We loved this house! It was nicely laid out - our girls had their side of the house and we had ours. I love the lanai and direct access via the sliding doors. The house was very bright and cheerful and clean- well stocked. We really didn't need a car at all - the entire area is walkable from the house. The beach is less than 5 min away via a beach access boardwalk right next to the JW Marriott. It's a gorgeous soft white sand beach with crystal clear water that tricks you into thinking you are in the Bahamas. I ran the. beach every single day but wear sneakers or your feet will be destroyed by all the shells. The grocery stores are close by, fully stocked. There are so many restaurants you won't be able to visit them all in 1 week. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

Jan 2020This was such a lovely, accommodating home to have the pleasure of renting for the week! We really appreciated all the little extras like having extra towels, a workable kitchen since we cook most of the time (the big frying pan should be replaced-teflon coating coming off in spots), really nice toiletries in the bathrooms...just a very wonderful place! Felt like home except its warm and sunny here haha! The owner is the best we have worked with since using VRBO years ago. Would love to come back here someday!

Jun 2022This was our second stay at this property and it did not disappoint! It is a beautiful home with fantastic amenities and in close proximity to the beach, dining, and shopping. Our only regret is not staying longer than a week! We will definitely be returning :)

Mar 2021This was our first time staying on Marco Island, and we could not have found a better property. Everything looked just like the pictures, and the layout was great for a family of five. Our teenager had her own room and our 10 and 6 year old shared the third bedroom. Alan was terrific and the check-in and out process could not have been easier. He was nice enough to check in on us throughout the week and even offered up some personal recommendations.
The pool was great, we used it every day. And the ten minute was to the beach was easy. Being close to one of the few public beach access points made life really easy. The beach was great and we had plenty of room to ourselves. We all really enjoyed our week in Marco and look forward to coming back and staying here again soon.

Mar 2022This was our first time not staying in the "condo on the beach" on Marco Island, and the experience was excellent. The house is situated in a great location - a very short walk to the public beach access. Having a "private: pool was truly enjoyable. All accommodations were as described. We had a wonderful time and cannot thank Alan (and family) enough.

Jul 2019This was exactly what we thought it would be and more! The attention to every detail makes this home so comfortable and relaxing! The cleanliness and organization made it easy to start relaxing and enjoying the patio and pool! If we wanted to cool off or chill for the night the cable TV and Apple TV access was awesome and multiple TVs solved any programming debates. I like to be close to things and this home was a few blocks from everything we wanted or needed. Beach, dining, shopping. The best times were had relaxing around the pool. We still had many more things we wanted to do, like ride bikes but ran out of time. Alan was super great with communication and was sincerely committed to making sure everything was perfect. We would definitely recommend staying here and are already looking for our next opportunity. Dan & Sandi

Aug 2021This place is so great, we’ll definitely be back! The AC keeps you nice and cool inside and the pool keeps you nice a cool outside! It’s really a lovely place, it has the perfect layout so adults can enjoy themselves after the kids go to bed. It’s a short walk to the most beautiful beach! I’ve been to a lot of beaches around the world, and Marco Island has the best sand I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting my toes in. And seashells everywhere! The kids loved it! I’m so glad we picked this place over a crowded hotel!
