Jul 2022What a sensational family vacation. This property has it all — beach front, dock for the pontoon, kayaks, beach toys, and a well stocked and charming house steps away. The babies could nap during the day while the mamas swung in the hammock nearby. Put the littles to bed at night and the adults enjoyed games in the sun porch overlooking the lake. It is the perfect family vacation spot. We will be back! Thank you for opening your home to our family. Wow!

Nov 2020We had the best time ! The house was perfect for what we needed. Room to relax on your own and explore and large spaces to gather together. Property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating with any questions we had. We can’t wait to go back !

Aug 2020This place was absolutely gorgeous, perfect for our large family (16 of us); it was everything a lake house should be. The beach front was a must for the little ones while the docks, fishing and kayaks kept our teens and adults busy. The large great room was spacious yet cozy to play games in and hang out at night. Awesome to wake up to the sounds of nature and have coffee on the screened-in porch or relax in the outdoor jacuzzi at night. Last, but not least, the property manager Kathryn was a pleasure to work with; extremely helpful and accommodating. Our family would love to book again, even in the off season. 5 out of 5 for sure :)

Sep 2022This is an amazing house and offers an amazing experience. It is an elegant, rustic, comfortable, private beautiful accomodation. However, some of the furniture and beds are showing the signs of age, and I believe need to be upgraded. Some furniture lack support which makes it difficult for elderly folk to get up out of....and a few of the mattresses need replacement. Other than these observations, this is a great home on lake W to spend a week.

Sep 2020This gorgeous home was absolutely perfect for our family. The big sandy beach allowed us all to sit by the water and enjoy the amazing views. I love that it was in its own little cove so the water was calm enough for younger children to play in. The house is spectacular with tons of space for everyone to spread out. The game room was great for the younger generation. It was an amazing family experience. Kathryn, thank you for making the process so seamless. I really enjoyed our chats. We will definitely be back!

Aug 2021The interior pictures speak for themselves,large,clean,spacious,beautifully decorated with room for everyone to have private spaces and gathering spaces. What the pictures don't show is the spectacular cove it is on.Private secluded cove on a calmer more serene part of Lake winnie. Perfect for paddle boarding(1 included)kayaking (3 included) and we brought our motor boat and tube to dock on the long pier there.It is a gradual walk in water so good for young kids,sunning dock and swim dock and sandy beach with chairs.It was the perfect vacation spot for our family of 10. Katherine was great and hope she remembers to thank the owner for us.

Jun 2022Situated on a spectacular property nestled in the woods yet has beautiful, expansive views of the lake from inside the house & the more than ample sandy water front. 15 minute ride to grocery store & cute town of Meredith. Designed with sectioned family sleeping areas with their own bathrooms for privacy yet allows for family gatherings in the large living, family & recreation rooms. Far too many amenities to mention but the the use of log wood through out the house is like nothing I've ever seen. Beautiful area to walk or ride on the paved road to Black Cat Island. My son loved his hammock time while another fished off 2 different docks (one 30 ft. big enough to dock a boat). Kids loved swimming out to the swim raft. The beautiful kitchen seemed slightly undersized relative to the rest of the house but it didn't pose any issues for meal preparation. Looking forward to going back again. We loved this home.

Aug 2021Every room of this property, especially the porch was so inviting that even the littles cried when it was time to leave. We fished, swam, kayaked, and even had our own relay olympics. The stars from the hot tub were unbelievable and we saw several “shooting stars.” Our little cove was so cozy and perfect for our families to gather safely and happily together! We would love to come back!

Jun 2018Beautiful house with a gorgeous view of the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. House was very spacious to accommodate my family of 14. Plenty to do for the grandkids; game room, also lots of outdoor activities; boating kayaking, canoeing. Stores and eateries nearby. Excellent property manager, who was very helpful, knowledgeable of the area, and hospitalable. We had an amazing vacation there! Would definitely come back again!!

Sep 2022After viewing pictures of the property I had no idea that when I arrived even the pictures could not depict how beautiful the house and the setting are. The property is also convenient to many places worth a visit, like Castle in the Clouds, The Old Country Store, Moulton Farm, Hart's Turkey Farm, and much more. Kathryn took the time to explain the many features of the house and on top of that offered her services as a resource for not just the house but the surrounding area. I would not hesitate to recommend Kathryn and the property!
