Mar 2023Wonderful ambience. Beautiful architectural design. Peaceful forested location close to the roaring sea.
Only a minor issue. A little warm at night in bedroom but could not open windows for any length of time as no fly wire.
We had a fabulous stay, couldn't fault the place, will definitely be back.

Mar 2023This property is exceptional. Beautifully designed and built. It was such a pleasure to spend time there. We also enjoyed the friendly Weka birds who visited (we didn't feed them :-) We had everything we needed and were very reluctant to leave. Great walk down to the water. Some may find the lack of complete privacy between the two bedrooms uncomfortable, but we were with good friends so didn't mind and didn't need the dividing screen.
This is an architectural gem in beautiful surroundings. Bravo Hosts! Thank you for sharing it.

Jul 2021lovely place to stay, even on a windy, rainly cold winter night. Would say would be good to have some lights which were brighter for reading, current lights are lovely for mood, but a bit hard to read by.

Jun 2021Absolutely loved our stay here. Very private, beautiful lush surroundings, fully equipped property with a full kitchen. The fire kept the place super cosy. Was the perfect place for weekend getaway and nature fix.
