May 2023The property was beautiful and even better than we expected! The host went out of their way to make us feel at home and they anticipated all of our needs! The surrounding towns were wonderful and everyone went out of their way to greet my grand puppy as well! Thank you for a wonderful weekend away. We can’t wait to visit again 😊

May 2023My husband and I frequent this area 4-5 times a year, mostly staying at local B&Bs and boutique inns. This time we decided to try our luck staying renting a local home for a few nights, and I'm so glad that we did, as this home went above and beyond our expectations. The home itself is marvelous with perfectly appointed rooms, a spacious living room, wonderful kitchen and bathrooms, a lovely master bedroom with gorgeous views of the stream outside. The outside deck and hot tub overlooking the beautiful stream was so beautiful and private. And, the hosts were FAN-TAS-TIC! What an incredible find. We cannot wait to come back. Can't say enough good things about this home.

Apr 2023This is our second stay at Creekside Camp, and it was just as fantastic as the first. We enjoyed the fantastic location, as well as all the nice little touches throughout the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, being close to the creek, and our pup enjoyed the cookies.

The Creekside Camp exceeded ALL of our expectations (and needs)...The location while accessible, and convenient, has the feeling of isolation & serenity...Dan & Kelle were very approachable, and created an environment for complete relaxation, with EVERYTHING thought out for guests to choose, "should I stay or should I go???"....The answer...When we ventured away from "the Camp" to day trip, our minds focused on cooking a meal in the incredibly well stocked kitchen....Oh...Did I mention CLEAN!?!?... WE felt as if we were the first guests ever to set foot in the "Cabin"....A Wonderful place, set in a Heavenly location of the Vermont Countryside....

Mar 2023This was our second time here and we will definitely be back! Great location, everything you can think of made available by the host. The wood stove is ideal for slow mornings with coffee. If you’re feeling adventurous, we also enjoyed several polar plunges in the iced cold river! Can’t wait to return again

Mar 2023Dan has really thought out everything that one would need in this cabin. while it is a series of additions, that only adds to the charm of the place. We were upstairs and quite surprised to find the bed, very comfortable, has the ability to raise the upper body. One person will have to crawl out of the bed as it is against a wall. For anyone who has been to an alpine hut this is not a problem, but unlike the hut, you have your own bathroom, with a shower and the floor has heated tile!! The shower is under a sloped ceiling but I am 6' 2" and was not forced bend down as is the case with most showers under a sloped ceiling. Again, Dan really though about things when he built this cabin space.

Feb 2023We thoroughly enjoyed Creekside Camp. Dan and Kellie have done a great job in adding to the home away from home experience. Clean, clean, clean, the bed was super comfortable, the towels are better than what we have at home and the welcome gifts were all nice touches that add to a wonderful place to stay. We unfortunately didn't have much snow, but the hiking in the surrounding area was just perfect for the dogs. They were so exhausted at night they just collapsed on the "doggie" throw left out for them! Truly a wonderful little cabin w/ thought put into every aspect!

Feb 2023I was blown away by the level of detail and thought that went into Creekside Camp. It is such a fun location which made our stay that much better. Hearing the creek from the master bed at night was one of my favorite parts! Dan and Kellie were super helpful throughout the whole process and were accommodating when we wanted to check out late. They even left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary (thank you Dan and Kellie!). It was super cold (in the negatives) when we were there but the fireplace made our stay warm and cozy. We plan to go back once the snow melts and the sun is out! Great hosts, great location and an awesome rental!

Jan 2023Creekside Camp was exactly what we were looking for....rustic, but with modern, upscale touches. The cabin was exceptionally clean, with a well-stocked kitchen containing quality cookware, knives, and appliances. Everything you might need to mix cocktails or enjoy a bottle of wine was provided. The bed was super comfy.
The setting was picture-perfect, especially in the snow. The rushing water of the rocky creek, surrounding mountains, and woods were magical. Plenty of firewood was provided which we took advantage of, and Dan, the owner, was available if we needed anything.

Dec 2022This was our 4th time staying at Creekside Camp and it will certainly not be our last! Creekside is quite simply the perfect Vermont experience in the perfect location. The owners have thought of every detail to make this cabin into the Vermont getaway of your dreams. The location feels rural yet you are only minutes from restaurants, hiking and more in Dorset or Manchester. Staying here feels like a home away from home and we can’t wait to come back!

Dec 2022Our stay at the Creekside Camp was truly wonderful! The house and property are beautifully maintained and perfectly stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It was an amazing few days for myself and my spouse to relax and take a break from the world. The house is so welcoming and the wood burning fireplace created the ultimate coziness. I will be dreaming of our morning coffees by the fire for quite some time to come. The hot tub next to the rushing creek was a perfect way to end the day after a beautiful VT hike. Thank you to Dan for being an attentive and accommodating host. We will certainly be back soon!

Nov 2022This property was amazing! The place is well stocked with everything you could need - from linens and towels to make up wipes and robes!! The outdoor area was peaceful and has so many areas to sit and relax. The inside was just rustic enough to feel like you are away from it all but with a modern kitchen and two beautiful bathrooms. We brought our daughters and our dogs (who also were well taken care of with dog bowls, welcome treats, etc)! This was an amazing place to stay, and we hope for a return visit!

Nov 2022From the moment you step into the house, it feels like a welcoming home. The accommodations and attention to detail are stellar and I cannot think of one thing lacking. They even had the dog dishes set out along with a tasty treat for my dog. And a much appreciated bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge. This is my second visit to Creekside Camp and hopefully it won’t be the last.

Nov 2022Stayed at this property for a long weekend. This was our second time renting this property this year, we brought some friends with us this time to share this wonderful place with. I can’t say enough great things about this place or the exceptional attention to detail put forth by the owners to make this place the five star experience that it is. We still have not seen Doug the owl, oh well, guess we’ll have to come back again :)

Oct 2022Wonderful cabin by a stream in a quiet corner of Vermont. Loved the hot tub by the water and a great breakfast at the Dorset Bakery. Close to the Merck Farm where we found some marvelous trails to enjoy the view-shed.

We were able to meet the owners, Dan and Kellie and they are fantastic hosts. Thank you Dan and Kellie for the tips on places to go and great food to try. We will definitely return!

Owners thought of everything and all the little extras made for a very enjoyable stay. Hot tub was very clean and house was well equipped with everything you need. Would definitely recommend!

Aug 2022Perfect for one or two couples to get away from it all. This house is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Plus, it's near to both Dorset and Manchester, which have good restaurants, bakeries, and (in Manchester) a great bookstore! Highly recommended!

Aug 2022A friend and I were going to a wedding nearby, and had an amazing stay at Creekside Camp! The property had so many features that made it a relaxing and wondrous retreat for us: skylights over the beds so you could sleep under the stars while being inside, windows that overlooked onto the creek, a stunning fireplace, a deck with magical string lights. The attention to detail in the home was also amazing: fluffy towels, a basket of snacks and goodies, bug spray available in the mudroom, instructions and labels for operating everything, luxurious bedding. We were able to really relax in the space in part because of the excellent AC and fans which kept the climate inside just perfect even on hot days. I can definitely imagine coming back to Creekside Camp for a relaxing weekend, a romantic getaway, or a writing retreat!

Sitting by the stream, the fire pit, (we didn’t get in the hot tub but it looked really nice) enjoying the deck, all very relaxing. Great location. Away from it all but easily accessible and very convenient to Pawlet, Dorset, and Manchester Center.

Jul 2022We recently finished our 3rd stay at the cabin and we cannot wait to go back! This cabin is full of charm inside and out, it is rural yet close to downtown Dorset and the owners are awesome. Everything in this property is quality, clean and exactly what you want from a Vermont experience. Once you stay here nothing else will compare to it!

Jul 2022This five nights in Vermont originally was planned around hiking, but I injured my foot the day before we left for Creekside. I was pretty bummed, but decided to go anyway. It was the perfect decision! The cabin is a beautiful timber frame structure completely updated with all the modern conveniences…all still maintaining the charm of Vermont.
Relaxing in the outdoor furniture as the creek bubbled by or in the sparking hot tub was exactly what we needed to forget work and enjoy vacation.
Dorset is a lovely, artsy village that provided a bit of walking (even on a delicate foot); shopping there and in Manchester was fun! Buying local is the way to go!
The hosts were attentive and easily reached. We enjoyed chatting with Dan before he mowed the lawn!
We really can’t say enough about what a great vacation this was, and we are already planning a trip back, when I can hike!
