Oct 2018We recently stayed at the Charleston Chestnut Mansion for a quick weekend getaway with some friends. We wanted our location to be central so that we could walk everywhere. WOW, is all I can say about the location since it was the newest and most modern rental within the historic district and just a couple of blocks from almost everything we wanted to do while in Charleston.
But, this home offers so much more! The cleanliness of the facilities were literally brand spanking new and the entire home was outfitted with the most modern conveniences anyone would want for traveling for business or pleasure. The unit comes stocked with several amenities that are above and beyond what is offered in a typical home rental. The beds were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning could hold its own to any hot souther day. The kitchen was spectacular and were the beautifully tiled and appointed bathrooms. We had plenty of room to spread out in the various living areas.
In addition to all of these benefits, Marie the house manager was immediately available throughout the weekend by text to answer any of our questions and was even able to assist us with the most superb dining recommendations. She gave us an insiders scoop on some of the newest eateries Charleston has to offer.
We will be back and I suggest anyone looking for a luxury retreat in Charleston that is centrally located to everything to stay here! Weiterlesen

Oct 2020We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful, super clean home in an amazing location, to celebrate my husband's birthday with our 4 adult children! I was a little hesitant to travel during Covid times, but not at all when I arrived. The home was sparkling clean! The tv remotes had been sanitized and bagged. Everything was just beautiful and there were 3 very large bedrooms and bathrooms that easily accommodated our family of 6! You couldn't ask for a better location and there was no need for a car because everything is within walking distance and otherwise it was very easy to find an Uber or Lyft. Andrea was very helpful in recommending restaurants, etc. We highly recommend and look forward to another visit! Weiterlesen

Jul 2019We had a wonderful stay in Charleston and couldn't have asked for a better home for our family of 5. The apartment is tastefully and stylishly decorated with a fully stocked kitchen. There are thoughtful amenities that made for a very comfortable stay. The communication was really smooth, as well as the check out process. We look forward to returning soon and staying again.

Oct 2018Three couples stayed in the condo about a week ago. The whole unit is extremely spacious and well furnished. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are lovely. The kitchen island is HUGE.
Best of all, the condo is in a fantastic location. Really close to the restaurants, carriage tours, market, etc.

Jul 2018This place delivers! We’ve stayed in dozens of vrbo’s over the years, and this place is easily one of the best spots, units, and experiences we’ve ever had! It’s everything as advertised and more. I know exactly where we’re staying anytime we’re in Charleston and we’ve already been suggesting it to our friends. Marie was simply awesome, making sure we had everything we need (before and during our stay) and also helped us with suggestions on where to go/what to do. My family was so impressed, the location is perfect, we stayed 4 nights and never needed the car except for our day trip to the beach. “Well equipped” is an understatement, there’s nothing we needed that this unit (or Marie) didn’t already provide.

Oct 2019This is just a great location, especially for someone who wants to avoid driving while seeing the best sites of the city. We had 6 guests and the size was perfect. It can be a little loud at night, since it is right on East Bay, which is unavoidable if you want that great location. A pair of ear plugs took care of that just fine. Kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed and they generously supply many toiletries. Marie was wonderful to deal with and her recommendations very helpful. I recommend very highly! Weiterlesen

Sep 2021This is a really cool flat on the second story of a building. My husband and I stayed there with our three kids (ages 8-12) and it served us really well. It's beautifully decorated and the location couldn't be better for those wanting to move around Charleston on foot or by pedicab. Great restaurants nearby -- due to COVID we did a lot of takeout -- and fabulous shopping and sightseeing. We've been to Charleston many times over the years and stayed in a lot of really nice hotels. This stacks up really well -- especially since there was room for the whole family! Oct 2021It was better than advertised. The place was so beautifully decorated, the pictures don’t do this home justice as to just how big it is once you walk in. The elevator is a back saver since the unit is on the second floor. My daughters wedding was at Emeline’s, so it was less than a 3 minute walk to the venue. This home was exactly what we were hoping it would be.
Andrea was wonderful to deal with, check in was a breeze. The only issue was parking, it comes with just one spot, so it was difficult getting our friends parked during the busy weekend.
We travel quite a bit, and always use Vrbo. This was hands down the nicest home we’ve ever rented. Weiterlesen

And the Hanlons have thoughtfully stocked Suite 200 with additional paper products, some kitchen staples such as salt, pepper, olive oil.
