Tranquil, so comfortable and immaculate cottage .. a “find” for sure! Have stayed in many VRBOs and this was among the best of the best. Not only were accommodations lovely and private but host Don provided us with orange juice and muffins and there was coffee and creamer too. Will definitely return. Thank you Don and Beth!

This was the second time we have rented this unit. Don and Elizabeth make you feel so comfortable. A great convenient and safe location close to Burbank and Glendale shopping and restaurants. Easy access to major highways. This is our favorite property and we will return!

This was the best rental we have ever stayed in through Homeaway or VRBO. The property was absolutely perfect. Elizabeth and Don were great hosts. The location was ideal and we will definitely stay here again.

This was a memorable experience! My first time to use VROB. The bar is now so high don't know if any other at home get away can be matched! I feel like I was with long time friends! Both Don and Elizabeth went above and beyond my expectation!!! I look forward to booking my next trip! And then maybe this virus will be done, and I can have some of the crab cakes that I read about in the guest book!!!

This is a lovely cottage in great neighborhood. It is bright, nicely furnished, has all the conveniences, and is well located for easy access to nearby sites and freeways. It is behind the main house, with a very pretty garden and lounging area in between. There is a locked gate for security and always available street parking just outside. Though close to a well-travelled street, it is extremely quiet. Breakfast of a pastry and fruit juice is brought to the door each morning. All in all, it is a terrific choice for a Glendale stay.

The garden house was immaculately clean. Space was perfect for two people. The hosts Beth and Don are onsite and dedicated to the comfort of their guests. Lots of nice touches - Coffee and tea service, candy dishes, snacks, and for our stay there were delicious morning pastries and OJ. Location is excellent- quiet, calm garden house within easy reach of Glendale and Burbank attractions. LA Live is a short drive and Universal City can be a day trip. Griffith Park hiking and horseback riding are 10 minutes away.

Thank you for an amazing home away from home! The ambiance is perfect. Beautiful serene, perfectly kept. Fantastic grill and the hottub soothed our feet that were achy from walking. The bed was super comfy. I usually don't sleep well away from home - this was not an issue here. We loved our visits from the humning birds and the lizzard, too!! Y'all are the perfect hosts ! Great tips from hosts about local sight seeing and great conversations! If we're ever back in the area again, this will be ourfirst stop. Thank you, again!

My traveling companion and I spent five nights at Elizabeth's Touch of Zen, and enjoyed every moment. Don met us at the gate, showed us around the property, helped carry some of our things in, and then retired. Don and Beth were both superb hosts, attentive, available, but never intrusive. The property itself was as good or better than any of the pictures or text indicates. Everything was clean, neat, and well thought out. We were always able to park right outside the entry gate. The neighborhood was safe and very quiet at night, but still offered easy access to Interstate 5. There is a beautiful outdoor patio area, with a delightful fountain that draws finches and hummingbirds. We were offered juice and pastry every morning. All in all our best experience with Airbnb or VRBO. A real bargain, and far preferable to staying at a hotel. If we have the opportunity to come to LA again we will be staying here.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth’s Touch of Zen while we were vacationing in Glendale. Beth and her husband are very welcoming and hospitable hosts and they made sure we had all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. The guest house that we stayed in was clean, cozy, and felt like a place where we could live. Also, there are plenty of places to go and things to do nearby. We will definitely consider staying there again when we make another trip to SoCal.

Just stayed four nights and five days at Don and Beth's Zen cottage. It was the perfect place for a getaway - beautifully decorated, gorgeous outside patio area with tons of plants, flowers and singing birds, quiet and private. Don was a gracious host and showed us around the property and the cottage before we settled in. There were thoughtful touches around the cottage such as chocolates, biscotti, extra Q-tips and soaps and lotion in the bathroom, etc. An extra nice touch was Don bringing fresh pastries and orange juice to our door every morning. Communication via text and email was always answered promptly. Thank you for making our stay in Glendale such a pleasure!

I can't say enough about Don and Beth's zen-sational home-away-from-home. The attention to detail and hospitality made this rental a GREAT EXPERIENCE! Eventhough it wasn't a vacation for me, it truly felt as if it was. Thanks so much! I will be back!

Great location for us since our daughter lives in Glendale. The space is very comfortable and well appointed and located in a very safe neighborhood. Don and Beth are awesome hosts who made sure our stay met our expectations.

From the moment Don greeted us at the gate until the departure at the same location we felt so welcome. The many thoughtful touches in the ADU were so nice and really made the stay feel like home. It was very hot during our visit and the air conditioning worked great and kept us very comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and the fan provided was perfect. Don greeted us every morning with baked goods and orange juice. It was such a nice touch. They even offered us a much needed cooler to take to the Hollywood Bowl. You could not choose a better place in the L.A. area. You won't be disappointed!

First impressions are everything! Private, gated house and guest house with a private entertaining area. I felt safe and cozy right away! With extra amenities like the hot tub, full kitchen set up, limo service, and our breakfast (that was brought to us by the one, thee only, Don!) it made the stay extra special! Don was a lovely host with the most and made sure our stay was fun filled and comfortable. If we didn’t have a clue on what to do for the day, Don had amazing suggestions. I highly recommend for a short or long stay. It was nice that we were so close to everything as well! This is the location to maximize your time in SoCal! ♥️
