It rained a lot, roads not suitable for a small car when it rains.

This was our second time at Shepherd's Farm and we just love it. It's an amazing escape from the city, the view from the deck is breathtaking and Vicky and Tim are amazing hosts. The place is very comfortable and you're close to some great hikes. We can't wait to return for a third time!

This property is amazing, has everything you need to be very comfortable, has views that people dream about, in fact paint about! If you ever just want to see the magnificance of our world, this is where you need to go. A great place for family time, reflection and peace. The hosts are caring, maintain their property to the highest standards and are willing to assist in any way that they can. We will definitely return.

Nothing from the host or property perspective, the road to the property is quite bad, but its a small trade off for the location.

That we had to ask for the generator to be switched on each time we needed the stove. Maybe better to agree on set times each day.

The view is amazing

The location is absolutely stunning and you can simply sit on the porch and watch the clouds changing over the mountains for ever. There are also several bakeries, restaurants, breweries and more within less than a 30 minute drive.

The house is spacious, the kitchen well-appointed with lots of work space, bathrooms are clean and shower is piping hot. You can sit on the deck even when it's raining. The view is superb.

A bit of a schlep to carry all your stuff down the walkway (up is even harder work) but then you feel you have earned your glass of wine!
