A feast fir your eyes!!!
WOW!! That’s what we said when we first walked in. And kept saying as we walked through this beautiful home. It’s better then the pictures!! Very large and accommodated the 9 of us very easily. The outside was breathtaking with the last burst of fall surrounding us. The sounds of the waterfall are heard from the decks. The well stocked kitchen easily accommodates a few cooks at the same time and conversation flows easily with the open concept. The video library is thoughtful with the wide range of choices. Fun book titles too!! We enjoyed the location and proximity to Black Mountain, Asheville and Chimney Rock. Straightaway Cafe is a short drive from the house and a must “check it out” for a local bar/food. This house checked off EVERY must have on my list for a family vacation. Don’t pass up the opportunity to experience this oasis in the mountains!!

Wonderful place in the woods. Bedrooms are nice, large and decor is cute. Kitchen had everything we needed. The pluses - nice space - fire table is a huge plus we enjoyed. Black Mountain is 25 minutes away and Asheville was about 35 minutes. Plenty of towels, bedding was nice and beds were comfy. The minuses - someDirections need updated like the garbage drop is on Bat Cave Rd not Old Fort Road which caused us to be “lost” for 25 extra minutes. The trails to the falls were pretty heavily overgrown with piano ivy so we elected to take the main trailhead at Old Fort. Pointers - Ingles is a big grocery store so has about anything you want. We cooked in a few times and ate out a few times. Be prepared because Black Mounatin rolls up the sidewalks at 8 or 9!- so if you want something to do it better be early. Beat brewery we train was Hillman in Old Fort. The Trailhead had awesome food and taps. Konichiwa was a nice departure and my adult kids loved the bubble teas. We didn’t love Black Mounatin Bistro literally everything was just ok. The little bar near the entrance Castaways was super friendly, we did apps and drinks and listened to some live music which was very cool on the outside deck. The internet was fast and the cabin had direct tv with HBO. We hooked up our laptop to get Prime and iMovies to stream.

Wonderful getaway with the family
We were a party of 10. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. Just beautiful inside and out. We had a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back during the fall/winter.

This cabin is amazing!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location is ideal. It's private and secluded yet close to town. The sounds of the creek you hear in the back are very tranquil. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. We will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful Fall Weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our large family (six adults and six children) enjoyed the layout of this house with a wonderful basement and large main floor living area which provided ample space for multiple family activities. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. The beautiful outdoor space with a creek and trail down to the creek provided a great space for our kids to enjoy outdoor adventures. This home is approximately eight miles from the Ingles after turning off I40 so stock up on supplies before heading up. The property was a perfect space for our fall mountain weekend and we will look forward to a return visit.
