Feb 2020WOW. Rarely am I this impressed by a level of service demonstrated once - nevermind consistently - over a two week period. Shain, Kerrie and the Blue Sky Luxury Team achieved what few rarely do day after day - they continuously displayed personable, professional attention to detail and responsiveness of service. From the fast track at the airport, to stocking our kitchen, ensuring prompt repair of washer/dryer issues, suggesting best beach spots, amazing taxi service ... no question went unanswered! Porters Gate 24 on its own was an oasis of a home away from home that was elevated to a higher level with BSL's platinum service. The pairing of the two provided us with a blissful, fun-filled, relaxation inducing experience that we'll crave again and again. Blue Sky Luxury is now synonymous with Barbados! Mar 2020We had a lovely stay at Porters Gate 24. Conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the beach and few minutes drive from Folkstone Marine Park (spectacular snorkelling destination) and Holetown (great restaurants and shopping). The unit was very clean, modern and well equipped. The backyard was a nice private oasis and the kids had a blast in the plunge pool. The owner and property management team were very kind, responsive and professional. Definitely recommend. Weiterlesen

Nov 2019We arrived to find the kitchen empty so no tea coffee sugar salt pepper etc. Which is unusual for a quality rental. We were not told a car is essential as the beach is 15 minutes away and the nearest shop 15 minute drive. So rent a car at the airport and shop before you arrive! Sadly the owner has not renewed beach club membership which we think is essential for a beach holiday. We paid our way on the beach and had a lovely holiday with our friends also staying at porter’s gate who had club membership included in the rental charge. Weiterlesen

Oct 2021We all had wonderful time staying at 24 Porters Gate. The house is very comfortable the A/C was brilliant and any problems were dealt with in a timely fashion. The pool was absolutely brilliant and we just loved it, and even though we travelled a very long way we hope some day soon to return as we loved Barbados we found the people there so friendly and helpful. Oct 2021We absolutely loved our time at Porters Gate. The villa was our perfect "home away from home" while in Barbados. It was spacious, clean, and perfectly suited for a couple or small family. We especially enjoyed the splash pool in the backyard! Our house keeper was so friendly and did a fantastic job. The staff managing our rental was very responsive and extremely helpful. They did everything to make sure our vacation went smoothly including organizing our rental car drop off. We cannot recommend the Villa enough!!!! It was perfect in every way! Weiterlesen

Apr 2022Upon arriving at Porters, we felt immediately relaxed and at home. Every effort was taken to equip the house with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We loved the little garden area, which was a peaceful place to relax having come in from the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and beds incredibly comfortable with beautifully pressed crisp cotton sheets. We found the area to be safe and secure. Jun 2021This villa was above our expectations. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Barbados. Everything was spotlessly clean and Andrea from BSL was really responsive to any of our queries and sorted things out straight away. The check in was seamless and we even got a late check out. Porters is a gated community which felt very safe and is well maintained. Everyone we met was really friendly. It is a lovely community. With both our pool and the communal pool we didn't go to the beach too much, but is is only a short walk from the villa if you do want the beach. Thanks very much for a great stay. Weiterlesen

May 2022Perfect location, perfect house! The villa has Everything you'll need. The location is very quite and for some moments you'll forget that you're attached to 2 other houses. If you love to cook the kitchen is fully equipped and supper clean, as well as the entire house! The decor is lovely and furniture are so comfortable. The pool is an amazing bonus to the villa. Not sure why this place is not rated 5 stars across the board. Catrina the cleaning assistant brought a positive and happy vibe with her as well.

Jun 2018My family loved the privacy of this property. With gated access and a lockbox for the keys, it made us feel quite secure. The home is very nicely decorated with local artwork and pretty furniture. It was super clean, spacious and had all the amenities of a modern home. We loved that it was close to the beach, there was a bus stop nearby and plenty of native fruit trees along the way. Our boys loved the private pool. It was great to be able to come home, wash off the beach sand, cool off and relax in the pool. We will definitely be back and will hopefully be welcome to stay at this property again. Feb 2020Great place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. A little too far to walk to the beach, however, it’s just a short drive. Great restaurants a few minutes drive away also. The small plunge pool is handy and the larger complex pool is lovely.
The property is well kept and it is in a quiet, peaceful, safe neighbourhood, where the monkeys roam freely and can be seen in the early morning (7:30-8:00).
Townhome amenities are ok, could be stocked with extra little things for guests. ie: beach chairs, water toys, cards, etc.
Housekeeping comes at random times and not often, but not really a big deal except on check-out day.
We would recommend this place to our friends and family. We love Barbados (that was our 15th trip) and will return again within the year. Weiterlesen

Jan 2020Excellent villa has every thing you need for home from home accommodation. A little sun trap, just a tip sun has gone by 3pm, if you need more sun, then the beach is just across the road or on site pool. You will need a car to get out and about- we had one for a week and explored the island. Loan Ranger and Top Deck are the nearest bars, and Holetown is only about 20 mins walk, or the bus on main route. BSL are excellent and always on hand to help out, Shain was my contact and was very helpful. Villa on a nice gated complex and extremely safe. I would recommend this property. Weiterlesen

Apr 202224 Porters Gate is a beautifully presented and very well equipped townhome in a small gated complex near Holetown. The photos are very accurate and the house was a pleasure to stay in. The house has everything you could need for a few days or an extended stay. It is located within easy walking distance or a short drive from Holetown with all of the west coast shops, restaurants and beaches. Taunia was excellent in her communication from booking, right through to whilst we were staying at Porters. Check-in was very simple with codes to access the main gate and the lockbox to collect the key. Housekeeping was also excellent with regular linen and towel changes. All-in-all and thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend the villa and of course BSL. Weiterlesen
