Jun 2022Hosts were really nice and helped me arranging visits to places I wanted to go to. Host was also very responsive on the phone. The room was clean and well equipped. Location was good as well, in a safe neighborhood.
Just a suggestion :) It could be nice to have some common areas to hang out and meet other travelers.

The location, felt a bit isolated as a solo female travel. However everyone was respectful and I felt comfortable after a couple of days.

Feb 2022Claudia the host and owner and is amazing! Great communication. Very clean room, bathroom, shower, towels, bedding. Very responsive to any needs, concerns, questions. The location is very easy 5 minute walk to the water, easy to get transport from the cross street, or easy 10-15 minute walk into town. Neighborhood is friendly.
The room we were in has very small windows making the light and airflow minimal. The fan and dehumidifier Claudia has in the room were helpful. There is a sneak peak ocean view from these lower level rooms.
Above the heart of Port Antonio sits a great place to stay at a super low price.
Aug 2021This cheap little guest house above Port Antonio was immaculately clean, the bed comfy. The Wi-Fi never quit. The fridge was cold enough to freeze water and the microwave was very convenient. It was better than I expected for such a cheap price.
There was no air conditioning (but a fan kept the room cool enough). It was up a steep hill and several blocks away from the closest restaurants. I was covered with mosquito bites even more while I stayed here than while I was at other places in Portland, even though I spent my time in the room enshrouded in the mosquito net.

Problems with the water not working properly.
Breakfast is not included even though it states it is.

Feb 2020Comfortable, good location close to town (up quite a steep rough track hill). Lovely and clean and the owners were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Amazing views
Jan 2020Location is perfect. Itis like being in the jungle but only 10mins walk away from the center of Port Antonio. Locals are friendly. Claudia, our host, made our stay simple perfect. They also let us stay extra 2hrs after checkout for free. Room is equipped with TV, microwave and refrigerator for all our needs.
