Taj Aravali Resort & Spa Udaipur

Well maintained beautiful property. Exceptional service from Kanhu (front desk), Sarvanishtha (Yoga instructor) and Chef Jitendra. The morning Yoga sessions were the highlight of my husband’s trip. The glass box dining area was stunning. The Rajasthani Thali was fantastic. The Odeypore Bar is a lovely space to spend the evening.

No golf simulator on property though listed on booking.com under facilities. The mini theatre is only for kids - no facilities to watch movies / matches there. Pool filtration and cleanliness needs to be improved. No streaming services like Netflix/ Prime/ Hotstar on TV. Fluctuation in water temperature in the shower.

We had an issue with the Air conditioning and it took a good few requests before it got of resolved. In the end they had to change our room. This was in month of April and the weather is so hot, so you can understand our frustration, it took them seven hours, which is quite a while, for a problem to be fixed. We were not happy that they took so long to resolve this issue. Overall the location is good and I liked the hotel grounds. The rooms are good size ,but seemed a little dark inside, to my liking.

Mr. Piyush front desk staff, I made request to check room properly in terms of cleaning and temperature but he acted careless and because of that we wasted our 2 hours. That was quite disappointing and spoils our leisure time.

This was our second visit. We liked the property and the location , away for the city pollution. The weather was also very good . We enjoyed our stay.

This property is well maintained, Room size was really big, staff was very courteous. The whole property is very big and ambient of entire property ( Rooms and all common area) is just superb. Sleep quality is excellent.

This hotel was fully booked ( 320 Guests) and they have shut down all their restaurant but 1. Food was not warm and hot, no service during any of the meal, entire dining place was over crowded and jam packed. I can understand due to on/off mode caused by Covid, this hotel must have kept minimum staff but then guests are also travelling after a long time and they would expect good service. F&B staff was trying hard but they have kind of accepted the reality that they just can't meet the demand and when they try very hard, you still don't see any improvements. There is just 1 menu for ala cart with very limited options. House Keeping was also affected, even after 4 PM the room was not cleaned even after many follow ups.
