Hotel Maria

The owner Emmy was so supportive and helpful. She went out with me to the nearest shop to buy sim for the mobile and stayed with me till she made sure it’s working. I also borrowed her charger and she was so polite to offer it. She was really very friendly during my whole stay. She offered to clean the room everyday. The heater was working fine. For me the bed size was big enough. The room was clean.

Only that the place is in a very quiet dark street that you need to walk to for some distance. You can hear the neighbours in the next room.

The location was very convenient. The room was clean and neat, although a bit dark. The host was kind but her command of English language was not good. It was difficult to communicate with her.

The mattress was old and in poor shape. The internet connection was not stable because the wifi signal was poor at my specific room.

The lady who give the service is really polite.

The hotel is in an old district of Tbilisi makes you feel like you're walking in XIX century town. Most famous places of Tbilisi (like Narikala fortress) can be reached by foot in like 30 min, some of them (like Mtasminda funicular and park) - using Tbilisi public transport card. The place itself is kind of oasis during hot days and like a calm place to relax after visiting Tbilisi all day. Me and my wife chose the place by photos and we were not dissatisfied.

Warning: extreme hospitality. (This is joke of course. The stay was great in all aspects). The name near the entrance says "Hotel Marial" (but it is hard to miss anyway).

Perfect place to explore Tbilisi. Great location and super hosts (Georgi and Emma) who make you feel comfortable and valued. Highly recommend this place.
