Wonderful birthday staycay @ Mandarin Orchard. Great service starting at the beginning when enter the premise. They taking care of all guest, and even provide a big birthday cake for me. Thumbs up for the service excellence. I really do feel warm & touch by all the little details they taking care of.

We booked a mystery room for our staycaytion, and at check in, we requested for a room with a bathtub if possible. The frontdesk staff was able to accommodate to our request, so that was great. The room on level 36 (highest floor for guest room on Main Wing) was spacious, bed and pillows were comfortable. We loved the location of the hotel and chose it because it was along the Orchard shopping belt where there were many food options. We requested for a slightly later check out and the staff was able to accede to our request too, which allowed us to leave right before our next appointment. It's not a new hotel by any means, but the rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the stay.

The hot water in the bathroom wasn't quite as hot as we had hoped but it wasn't too bad. We also found it very annoying that there was no information on booking.com or the hotel's website that this property is undergoing renovation at the lobby, and at the hotel's own pickup/drop-off point. This caused a lot of confusion as the driver kept insisting that this hotel is closed down for renovation when he couldn't enter the drop-off. If the hotel had pre-empted us to use Mandarin Gallery drop-off point, this would not have happened. We were unable to book slots for the pool at all, as it was highly limited to 5pax for any time slots. We walked past several times and noticed that the people who booked didn't show up, though. So that's disappointing. We do understand the covid-19 restrictions and it's not the fault of concierge, but guests who book should not book for the sake of booking if they don't intend to use the facility.

visually appealing room. staff were very helpful and accommodating regarding my needs. staff extremely polite, friendly and helpful.

bed was too firm. found the layout of the hotel and lifts are hard to follow and confusing. adjoining arcade not if a high enough standard to warrant breakfast while pleasant very overpriced.

very nice rooms and super location. Near all the big malls. Opposite of Apple Store and many other brands. Very comfy bed.

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful - we had some logostical requests before leaving Singapore and there was no problem with that. The room was very spacious and clean. Hotel is located very conveniently next to multiple shopping malls and two MRT stations.

As the hotel was undergoing a renovation, there was some hassle with changing elevator to get to the reception, etc. However, there were noises at all in the upper floors. We also had to change our room to not face the external AC fans that were quite loud, but it was not a problem and the next room was very calm.
