Holiday Inn Manila Galleria, an IHG Hotel - Multiple Use and Staycation Approved

The staff was very accommodating, polite and met all my needs. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations.

I thought that the hotel provided free shuttle transportation from and to the airport. There was no car or bus waiting and had difficulty finding a ride and getting to the hotel. Paolo the front desk person helped me secure transportation.

The service was nice.

No slippers to use inside the room.

The room was quite spacious and nice but there was an old room smell.

Change the linens or do something to remove the old/damp room smell.

The most straregic place for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Indeed a pleasurable and unforgettable moment with my wife, having reinvigorated the bond of the sacrament of matrimony. Thanks for the token.thru the mini cake.

Just that i didnt receive the exact room description which i booked, not havimg the pool view. Nevertheless, evertyhing was great.

The location was great Easy access to the street and to the mall many choices with so many different restaurants

They were renovating and the smell from the renovation was in the air handling system. It made us sick with nauseated with headaches. It took over an hour to get us changed from my room first they tried to bring in an air filter and device which would never work finally I told them we needed to move. We were upgraded to a bigger room which we did not need. My concern is for people staying in the future if they’re gonna do renovation they need to have a better plan

The location

this property is under construction and you can smell the lacquer thinner or the paint everywhere in the hotel. It makes you nauseated and gives you a headache and a construction workers work from 9 AM to 5 PM. If you have a room near the construction, it really sucks. The staff was fine

The location is very strategic. The room is so spacious and clean. Just perfect for me and my friends

I liked everything.

The location is perfect, its connected to the Robinsons mall and the SM mega mall is only two blocks away.

The property is old and the decor inside the rooms is quite dated, still works though. Washrooms definitely need some fixing and updates.

The hotel staff. From the security, front desk, bellhop, room service and housekeeping. They made our quarantine stay less burdensome.

The hotel itself could use some updating such as a USB outlet, microwave, newer furnishing.

The hotel is beside the mall, so it was easy to go to the mall to get our needs. Aside from the pool, there's no space to lounge or relax comfortably (like a cafe for instance). There's a children's playground, which is great. There are a lot of comfort rooms too, and well-cleaned.

The rooms we booked were on the poor side - there were telltale signs of worn (torn bathroom curtains), poor lighting, smelly carpet, dirty windows. They need to refresh the rooms. The beds are okay but I have stayed in a better hotel. The hotel frankly needs a major overhaul in interior decor. The keycards were not working after a few uses, so we have to validate frequently at the front desk.

The homy ambiance, the friendly staffs and the strategic location for business and leisure making it very convenient for the guest.

The room lighting is a bit depressing due to the low intensity. Perhaps an upgrade is needed to include a brighter lighting option (white lights) for the guests who likes a well lit room.

My first room had a mouse on the first night, which the hotel promptly changed to a new room for the remaining of the night. Room seems to quite dated and could really use a freshening or update. Housekeeping really needs to check the corners and hidden areas and clean them better.

all the food was cold every day at breakfast and dinner, as a chef myself I was expecting more but was sadly disappointed. food was brought from the kitchen and sat on warmers that had no heaters under them, good selection if you are Asian. The dinner buffet was overly expensive with poor quality ingredients, meats were cooked during the day then reheated when ordered, so for example, the ribs came to the table barely warm greasy and were so chewy we couldn't eat them, the steak was budget grade meat which was tasteless and needed to be chomped on for 3 mins just to swallow. the sashimi was of low grade and sloppy not firm and was warmer than the ribs. definitely would not eat here again. If you are are smoker you will hate this hotel, only 1 designated area that you have to take a cut lunch just to walk to it then stand in the rain or blaring sun. Tried numerous times to contact the manager but the staff refused to supply any form of phone number or email address, as he apparently is not concerned with any feed back. For the record I am a 20 year experienced hotelier and ex chef with a total of 40 years in hospitality

Staff were accommodating and friendly. Food is good. However, some food were already cold.

The airconditioning was so bad. I asked couple of times to sort it out however they failed. I then asled to be moved to a different room but it was also the same. The aircondition was not able to make the room cold.

nice touch on having air fragrance even in the room, but a bit too overpowering sometimes. might not be good for someone with asthma. otherwise, no complaints

Proximity to the mall

Outdated furnishings. Poor lighting. The unit doesn’t smell like Holiday Inn. Countertops at the bar area was dirty.

The bed is hard. The room was stuffy.

I checked in close to 4pm Check out was 12 noon Had complimentary extension to 3pm (Best they could offer) due to very late flight. I requested what would the difference in price be if I paid till 6pm which equals to a full night. There seems to be poor balance.

1. The hair dryer doesn't work 2. The knob on the wash basin are too hard to turn 3. I have to keep my finger on the toilet flush for a long time to flush the toilet 4. No bedside lamps 5. No table lamp on the writing table 6. No reading lamp on the sitting area near the windows 7. When I booked, I specified that I will be celebrating my birthday. There was no greeting note from the facility. The other facilities that I spent my birthday in the previous years sent me greeting notes, cakes, fruits and cookies or chocolates. One even put up a happy birthday banner on the window and another with a floral bonquet.
