Turbine Hotel & Spa

We booked a Deluxe Room and got upgraded to a lovely suite! Staff super friendly, room amazing and so much attention to detail! There is nothing we didn’t like! Also I recommend the boat tour in the lagoon- we had a lovely young guide (Keegan) who told us so much about the area. Also the spa is very nice, look out for their promotions.

We arrived and were taken to a room, but it would seem i did not book the correct room as i had request for the room with a view and they agreed on email. Look once i told them the manager Candice did not hesitate and took us to on of thier best rooms. This place is exceptional. The view, it peace , the quiet. Breakfast was amazing and it is close to everything. WHAT A GEM. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. AND THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING SERVICE.

Very friendly staff, Creg Coleman is a super chef, the SPA was awesome and the breakfast is the reason I need to go on a diet. Will definitely tell everybody about this super place.

Turbine Hotel was amazing! The rooms were comfortable spacious and had everything you could possibly want! There was even a Lavazza espresso machine as well as the coffee and tea making facilities. The room offered a mini bar, gowns, amazing Charlotte Reyes bath products and even a fresh lemon to go with your complimentary water! And if all that was not enough I even got a complimentary 5 star breakfast! Did I mention the bed linen was superb!! I would highly recommend this hotel!!

This is an amazing unique hotel that is really one of a kind! the outlook is so beautiful with the infinity pool overlooking the lagoon. rooms are lovely and clean with the bedroom and bathroom both overlooking the lagoon! the bed was huge and so comfortable! we were celebrating my partners birthday and the team were so welcoming and made some really thoughtful touches in our room to celebrate this which we really appreciated. there are many interesting power station artefacts that have been incorporated into the hotel which makes for a very special stay. all of the staff within the hotel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best possible. we really liked breakfast being available until 11am so no early mornings on holiday! the hotel has plenty of restaurants within a couple of minutes walking distance and the car park is secure and plenty of spaces.

It certainly could do with a new manager as it's sloppy. We had to call several times for laundry the internet was poor the Waitresses were slow and their aprons dirty when serving at tables. Just needs a better team leader.

The unit is fitted with good furniture. The king exstra latge bed with linen was upmarket and comfortable. Plenty DSTV channels.

They are very strict with the arrival time at 14h00.

This place is all you need and more to have a great relaxing weekend with your loved one...what's there not to like about this place ...love at first stay!

The unique loft design of the hotel was beautiful, restaurant and pool area also the spa.

the turbine itself is unique , the location on thesen island was great and convenient

staff at breakfast specifically a waitron named Songi , very rude unfriendly impatient and bad attitude . on the other hand another waitron - nolu/noku or noli - ??? something like that was extremely friendly and efficient . very delayed service in receiving breakfast no complimentary water on 2nd and 3rd day , we were told we need to pay for it beverages like tea coffee hot chocolate sugar milk sachets were not refilled daily . rooms are really small not spacious at all if you get a room on the second floor behind the bar area there are very steep stairs definitely way too expensive for what you get I don’t recommend it my initial booking had 2 rooms one with agoda and one with bookings.com , the room with agoda was cancelled by the hotel stating that they are fully booked and offered a hot much further away , when I went to check in for the one room with bookings.com the receptionist told me they still have rooms available but she couldn’t offer it to me at the same rate as bookings.com so I had to book on bookings.com while waiting in reception . from experience with other hotels they strive to match rates of bookings.com but at turbine no such effort was made . highly disappointed with services, facilities and most staff at this hotel .

The turbine is amazing! the decor and design of the hotel alone will entice you . The location is also what contributes to the experience. We stayed In the lagoon suite and you are surrounded by amazing restaurants and great views. Its a great place for social people!

Because the suite is located in between restaurants, it can get noisy if you visit during peak season. We however were there in January, a less peak season and it was not noisy at all.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their interaction with the guests was impeccable. Breakfast was superb except the biltong of the bacon.

The staff, especially Kamvelihle (Brigh Future), was very good and went out of her way to make sure we had a good breakfast and dinner seeing that one of us was vegetarian.Nothing was too much for her.She is a real asset to the hotel. All the other staff were also very good and friendly.

The room was a bit small.There was no mirror where the hair dryer is.Would have preferred a room with a balcony.

The rooms exceeded my expectations and the breakfast was mind blowing! Stunning location, don't think I had to move the car. The service in the both restaurants was exceptional. Surprised by some good live music on the Friday evening which literally set a good tone for the weekend. Good coffee in the room was a brilliant touch.

The rooms are really nice (and with a nice view) and the location is great especially to see shops on the island.
