Very good location and value for the money. Overall the place was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The plates were a bit greasy probably because of the provided detergent was not strong enough to get rid of the grease. It was a Lockwood house, the lighting was not bright enough for this type of house.

the beds were not very comfortable, there couch was very old and worn, the utensils in the kitchen were very sparse- no sharp knife etc

Very clean comfortable beds. The toaster was not working but was promptly replaced. Check in was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended when visiting Bay of Island as a base for many fantastic day trips

The Selection of TV Channels! And a better TV Reception. Watching a couple of the news channels, voices were not in sync with the mouth movement?! More Sky channels apart from the one Sports Channel only that we could get would have been great. We have had a rather busy two weeks, full on with family and lots of road travelling so we had booked a day/night here purely to RELAX before heading back home where life will become busy again!!

tidy motel that worked well for us

This was my 2nd time staying at Bounty Motel so that says a lot. The room was clean, comfortable & roomy. Parking was on-site & convenient. The location is not too busy & it is a short walk to the main street.

The studio was excellent very clean and comfortable. Close to all eateries and attractions.

Wifi couldn't reach rooms. Was noisey being downstairs could hear the studio above walking and talking.

The room was very big, tidy, clean. The bathroom very new and clean. The staff very friendly and efficient. We are very satisfied and we will come again

Everythink was ok

The Room was clean and tidy, The shower had good pressure and constant temperature. The location is handy to Paihia central and my area of work

Soundproofing, we were woken in the early hours of people leaving that sounded like they were opening and closing our ranch slider

The rooms where great, we didnt hear any noise at night however the mornings were a little louder with kids outside, but thats to be expected when you share a balcony,

The people were helpful. Nothing was too big or small for them to help with.

The owner Paul is really accommodating and welcoming. The rooms are a really great size. The room was very nice and clean. Handy location within walking distance to the beach and local shops

The motel room we had was a little dated but exceptionally clean and a close walk to the shops and wharf. Value for money.

the location was excellent, make sure you ask reception for passes to the Treaty Grounds. it had everything we needed including a hot plate which widened our cooking options. there was a coin operated washing machine and dryer

it was quite dark and our sitting area opened out onto the carpark and was very public. I would stay there again but I would ask for one of the units facing the sea.

The location of the motel. Easy walking distance to everything.

The location is perfect as we could leave the car there & walk to so many places for meals & drinks! It is not a modern motel but is clean, quaint & comfortable. Great value for money.

Only thing that could be nicer is that rooms are not very soundproof. A partial screen as far as the overhang in between rooms on the balcony side would be nice.

The closeness to the water and the township, very handy. It was roomy and clean and very good value. It had a good laundry and an outside clothes line and pegs for customers to use

The bed was comfy - but the sheets were cold!! The heater did warm up the rooms very nicely though.

The fan vent was full of dust, and the hand basin wasn't great to look at, although I realise this could be a stain from constant use, and the room was not exactly soundproof.

The bed was comfy and big and everyone was very hospitable.

I just think that it could use a a bit of an upgrade on the one rooms but the houses with several rooms were so so so beautiful!

The 2 bedroom apt was so cosy and such a great deal for our money, even where it is located was such a perfect spot

Thanks to Paul for a great stay and his patience when we arrived even later than expected. Our room was spacious with a king bed, a table and chairs, a well equipped kitchen and a balcony to take in the water views. We were lucky to have great weather as well.

It was all pretty good but an extra shelf in the bathroom for holding toiletries would make it even better.
