smell in the rooms and corridor, gym had antique and unsafe equipment. no drinking water or towels. while I was trying to workout a worker decided to scrub down some equipment with paint thinners and then decided to spray paint, YES, while I was training. couldn’t breathe and left. I asked to have 5 mins with the GM but no one got back to me.
too bad Karachi doesn’t have more hotels to choose from!
Jan 2023the location was good, the music in the evening was great, breakfast was very good. the staff is very polite.
guests were allowed (or pressured) to bring very young children to the executive lounge and they made noise and ran around. the bathroom was dirty and we asked it to be cleaned when we got there. the housekeeping staff asked us for our email when we were checking out!!! (why???). it seems no one is ever trained to do their job. they just pick it up as they go along.

May 2021Staff at breakfast time was very welcoming and cordial. They made their best effort to accommodate with fresh parathas, Omelette and Coffee. Clean and very friendly environment at the dining hall.
Old linens and the mattresses were old. In my one Mattress was water damaged. Bathroom shower area should have non-slip coarse surface. I was about to slip many times. Just took precautions and asked Mariam to clean the shower daily. She took care us the most.

The restaurant Nadia if not wrong is really poor with very average food option, quality and taste in both breakfast and dinner. Not 5 star quality at all.

The same lady at reception who handled my check in also did the check out and she was as rude and professional as the first time. I requested drop off near the airport with the complimentary service and she said no, even though the bell boy suggested it's possible upon special request. I am sure she could have spoken to the manager and got it arranged but she did not bother to consider my request.
This type of poor customer service was not expected from Marriot.

The front desk officer was unprofessional and wanted me to unnecessarily wait one hour for the room, which was ready and I got it as soon as another officer intervened. I clearly mentioned my arrival time of 2PM in the booking and reached at 3PM but the lady said room is still not ready and I will get it by 4PM.

May 2021As we entered the hotel, the reception guy was rude, my wife forgot her id card so we had it in mail so we asked him to check us in and we will mail it to him as we enter the room and connect the wifi he rudely said no do it now. So we did. We went to the room the room wasnt cleaned sofas were dirty looked like it wasnt cleaned recently. Then in the morning we woke up to the loud screaming of kids playing outside our room. I asked the reception if we can order food she said yes and then when the delivery guy came they rudely said we dont have anyone to bring your order come down and get yourself. Their hospitality sucks big time. MOST IMPORTANT THING we went to celebrate our anniversary and we told them in advance to make prior arrangements in our room to which they said they will do it we even called them they said they will do it on check in, but there was nothing nothing at all. So annoyed, and breakfast was not good at all the muffins croissants were not fresh.
